We stayed at this hotel for one night in June. Everything was perfect, the rooms were clean and the decor was very tasteful. The rooftop terrace has a breathtaking view of the whole city, which is very nice. The hotel is in a great location with a lift to get to the city centre faster. We loved the breakfast, very good and varied. We will definitely come back to this hotel!

Welcome. Nice hotel. Nice room. Clean. Parking in the basement. Well located, with access to all the streets. Go there with your eyes closed.

One night in this hotel was enough for my wife and me to enjoy the very beautiful surroundings, comfortable bedding and the hospitality of all the very smiling staff. The breakfast was really great, with a lot of choice! The price is justified!

Wonderful hotel with great views from the roof terrace and pool. Close to the old town, great service and a delicious breakfast buffet. Perfect for a romantic weekend or for business travellers as they also have great meeting and conference facilities and covered parking with direct access to the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great views
We stayed for two nights in thus hotel over a weekend and it was very nice. From greeting at reception to exploring the rooftop amenities the place is very lovely and comfortable. The location is good with a lift from the street level up to the hotel where because if its elevated level over the city allows for really great panoramic views.
Only looses points for the fact they charge for the spa. We were paying quite a bit of money for our rooms as bisiting over high season and it was a bit rich to then be charged €19 each to use the spa.
Apart from that a great stay

Came here for one night in San Sebastian before heading to the ferry in Bilbao.
This is a wonderful hotel. All seems so new and it's location is just perfect.
The views from the roof and rooftop pool across the city were stunning. My boy LOVED the pool after a long drive!
The hotel is easy walking distance to the beach and old city where it was buzzing but friendly and family friendly.
We went from pintxos bar to another and so on. Food was superb.
The breakfast was good back at the hotel.
The hotel also has a secure underground car park which is a rare luxury in such an old city. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
We would happily come back.

If you want a luxury hotel that is reasonably priced, a delicious breakfast, pool with a view and good service then stay at Hotel Catalonia. I write this review from the rooftop pool and can safely say it’s one of the most conveniently located hotels I’ve ever stayed in that has a touch of class. It is worth paying extra for the breakfast - the choice is excellent.
The beds are so comfy we are struggling to get out of bed in the morning!
The shower is powerful and the amenities in the room are excellent. We are very happy customers.
The only niggle is you have to pay €19 euro per person per hour if you want to use the spa (sauna, steam room and indoor pool). We felt this is too much.
However would highly recommend / it is near to old town and close to bus stops to get back to airport.
There is even a secret lift to take you straight to ground level. Thank you Hotel Catalonia for a very special stay!

A nice hotel that's close to all the shops you could want in the new town and not so far from the old town either. A great location for us whilst we stayed.
Rooms were great and the breakfast was good too. Some omissions like no dressing gowns, our double beds were twins pushed together, a lot of the rooms don't have a view, and the gym and pool were much smaller than in the photos online - you would struggle to get a sun lounger if the weather is nice.
Overall however we had a very pleasant stay.

We had an okay stay at the hotel - overall, it is a clean, modern hotel which feels fresh and well run.

Our room was fine and comfy enough, but a bit odd. We requested a double room but were given a twin room with the beds pushed together - reception couldn't find us another room so we got a couple of drinks tokens as an apology. Big sparse walls with green wallpaper which would really could have done with some art or something. Our AC did not seem to get the room cool at all - we had it set as low as it would go and the AC control panel indicated that the room never got below 23/24°C. Best bit of the room is the bathroom which had a particularly excellent shower.

Entrance to spa is not included in the stay but it was a very good with lots of features, nice bathing pool, and a good sauna with cold plunge. Unfortunately the rooftop pool is not as nice - not the best atmosphere and the pool was extremely cold.

We ate once from the bar menu downstairs and the food was fine. Service was very warm and friendly.

We parked onsite - spaces were limited and it was extra cost, but the car park itself was fine with good size spaces and room to maneuver.

Just love it ❤️ . They even got a elevator going all the way to the city... The rooms are huge , bathrooms are lovely . Parking house under the hotel . Just love this hotel ! And will go back next time I'm in the area ...
