Hotel Ilunion San Sebastian

There is a grocery nearby, great restaurants, cafes and bars as well (see my reviews). It is really convenient to go to La Concha beach (walk 10 min) and old town (bus 15 min - €1.85 apple pay, walk 30 min).
Coin laundry is 12min walking distance - save money after the sea swimming.
Room is very spacious and clean including the lobby.
The reason why I didn’t give five star is that even though they are dog friendly, the room itself is dog friendly but other parts of the hotel are not.

Beautiful lobby area, very attentive and helpful staff, remember your name and very curtious. Rooms are modern spotless. Great shower. Huge tv. Very comfortable bed. Quiet at night good night sleep good WiFi and air con. Lovely little terrace bar and restaurant. Handy for beach and local bars cafes shops etc bus no 5 right outside takes you to old town or 40 mins lovely sea front walk. Stop at the Perla terrace for a bougie drink by the seafront.

A modern hotel in the western part of the city close to the beach. A quieter area about 25 mins walk to the old town. Good beds, showers and all spotlessly clean.

Located away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat while still providing easy access to the city's attractions via bus with great restaurants nearby. The dog friendly room on the 4th floor was spacious and featured a big balcony with comfortable deck chairs and table/chairs, fridge, twin beds and sofa, providing a perfect spot for relaxation. Despite the lack of a pool, the clean room with tea/coffee facilities, bathroom with shower/bath combination, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast made up for this minor inconvenience. Thanks for your kind hospitality (our dog passed away in Vigo and the hotel staff very kindly removed the doggie items from the room which was highly appreciated)

Overall the hotel is really great - spacious and comfortable rooms, great location next to the beach and nearby very good restaurants.

The only thing is the parking, which could be stressful as it turned out that you have to book separately and in advance the parking to the room. So if you want a parking spot for your stay you first need to call them an inquire about the parking and after you have confirmation and book a parking spot to book your room.

I loved the hotel. It’s evident that they’ve recently renovated it, and everything looks new and tastefully decorated. The lobby is very attractive, and the receptionists provide excellent service. The rooms are comfortable, with good dimensions and a desk. The bathroom is also quite spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast seemed quite comprehensive to me. Perhaps the space is a bit tight for the number of guests; we had a short wait when we arrived. I appreciate the alternative options like prepared porridge and vegetables, not very common in Spain. The location is just steps away from Ondarreta Beach, making it ideal for walking to the historic center (a 30-minute walk). We used the parking; the space is a bit tight if you have a very large car, but ours fit well. The price-quality ratio is excellent. My only suggestions would be for the hotel to consider adding a coffee maker or kettle in the rooms for added convenience and to improve the coffee machine in the breakfast area.

This hotel is under renovation now, but it's not bothered me because it's well managed. I am so surprised that the local people love to come here for a cup of coffee or a drink late in the afternoon. The service is beyond my expectation. I love the girl at the reception who is really professional, at the same time, very kind and helpful. The room is very nice and clean. All the furniture is so new and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing 👏

What a great spot. Unfortunately was only there for one night, staff. We’re great, room with balcony was excellent and only a short stroll to the beach. Highly recommended
