I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We had a great experience during our visit and the director, Christina could not possibly do anymore to accommodate us. She was friendly, and eager to assist us with anything we needed. She suggested activities and restaurants. She gave us a list of places we could go for entertainment and overall looked after us as if we were the only guests at the hotel. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Perfect hotel in every way, clean and quiet. Great if travelling with kids, there’s even a play area in the lobby. Staff are genuinely pleasant and helpful. Food was good, and I would definitely return!

This is a great place to stay. The bed is big and comfortable, and the shower has jets. The room with a balcony in a quiet location. We recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

Rooms are starting to age (our fridge didn't work). Plenty of secure parking, very friendly front desk team. Good beds. A short cycle or taxi to old town.
Edit: updating this review given my experience with the barcelo group. They advertise services that they cannot provide. They will not admit their failures. They will not return my money.

A very unimpressive stay.
The hotel is decently located, with a bus stop in front and about a 15 minutes walk away from the beach. The rooms can be a bit cramped depending on which one you are allocated and they need some TLC. My sink stopper wouldn’t let the water drain, the night light didn’t work, the iron didn’t work. The sliding door to the bathroom is inconvenient. Water pressure is not great ant the shower takes a while to warm up. One night there was cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioning vents. Housekeeping was meh, there was not a single day when we got all the proper towels, they were either missing or extra and the floors were not left clean. Someone entered my room with a card (housekeeping?management?) without even a courtesy knock, I was in the bathroom and yelled at them. When I went outside to see why they entered, they denied and said I must be imagining things.
The hotel has a restaurant for dinner which is small and it is difficult to find a reservation (low chance of getting a spot as a walk in), and other restaurants are a 15-20 minutes walk away. Some of the staff (not the reception) don’t speak English and some of them even give you an attitude about it. Parking is 17€ a day.
For the good, beds are comfortable, breakfast is good and varied (better than what we had at Exe and Eurostars in northern Spain), the area is quiet and green. Front desk staff is super helpful.

Do not book here. It’s not a 4 star, might not even be a 3 star.

Wifi is very weak and a pain to connect to.
Their idea of a king sized bed is two singles shoved together.
Almost zero water pressure.
Probably the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on.
There isn’t really a bathroom door, at least not one that provides a seal.
And finished with the cheapest materials money can buy. The place is literally falling apart.

Stayed 2 nights in this motel with a tour group. The minute we walked into the room, 721, we knew the air conditioning wasn't working. It was like walking into a furnace. Even opening the door did not help. We asked the front desk to fix the air and the tour director also got in touch with them. They said they fixed it but never did. Tour director asked them several times to fix it or move us and they kept coming back and telling him it was fixed. Never was. Just blew hot air for 2 days. They rooms are very small. We could only have 1 suitcase open at a time.

Nice hotel . We had a dinner here - the meal was good- the salad was wonderful! It’s a little far from the downtown/restaurant. However, the walk along the beach was fantastic!
