The walls are not sound proof. You will hear people coming home from the bar at 3 am and you will hear housekeeping as they clean in the rooms above. But at this low price point, I find the extra noise acceptable. It was really nice for a single travel during the winter.

The hotel is very cheap and of a decent standard for the money. It’s in the centre of town and had free parking close by. I would recommend for a weekend or short break

Premium rooms have access to adults only pool and rooftop bar. Breakfast is extremely busy and with hindsight I would have avoided this and used the very nearby restaurants.

This is a very nice hotel we enjoyed the food and the location is perfect. The room was good and everything was immaculately maintained. We have noticed over recent years that the area, La Carihuela, which used to be fairly quiet has become more and more popular with Dutch people and most guests were indeed middle aged Dutch people. Clean rooms, we didn't pay for sea view so ended up on the side of hotel that gets no sun on balcony at all but does have a sea view as do most rooms, if you want sun you need to ask for pool view. I usually stay here as a cheaper option than Malaga when I have a flight and have never been disappointed. The staff is really lovely, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We had half board which was definitely worth it, the food is on the higher end than what I've had at hotel buffets before - lots of freshly cooked meats and fishes each day and good quality meat and vegetable...

Great 1950's original luxury hotel, you can sense the glamour from when the stars used to visit (who's photos now adorn the main public spaces). Quiet and comfortable with a fantastic location, right next to the beach, and within in easy walking distance of many restaurants and bars. All in we had a fantastic stay here, very relaxing.

Lovely hotel in great location. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating when I requested to change rooms. Lovely gesture for my birthday, wine and cake delivered to room. Thanks to all staff for our lovely stay. We will return.

Wonderful art deco hotel with real character and a sense of history. Staff generally friendly and attentive, if not quite the entire team at all times as advertised. The buffet food was reasonable, especially the breakfast. Cocktails were quite poor quality, air con in the bedroom didn't seem to work although we didn't report this as it wasn't hot enough to cause us an issue. The pool was cold and...

Great hotel, lovely staff, great location. We were there for my husbands birthday and they brought a cake and a bottle of bubbly to our room, such a lovely touch. Would highly recommend a stay here.
