Basic enough room in saying that everything we needed was there , very very clean, housekeeping were excellent, the best we have encountered. Busy hotel the restaurant is very busy self service with queues at peak times, big open room really noisey and not relaxing atall , on the other hand there was a veranda adjacent to the main dining room which we thought was amazing, relaxing and more to our taste...
Spacious room with a surprisingly powerful mini-fridge and a very effective air conditioner that works properly even with the windows open. The bathtub was a great plus for me, and the building itself along with its huge pool area creates a special, almost resort-like vibe. Wi-Fi was stable in the room and only slightly weaker by the pool.
However, several things really affected the overall experience...
Amazing experience 👍
Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights, very relaxing hotel… rooms were very clean, food was having so many options for vegetarians too. Location is perfect. Most of the staff are very nice.
We will definitely go again 🙂🙌
I felt pool could be more cleaned. But rest of the services were perfect.
Amazing hotel !
Great location - literally on the beach . Surprisingly friendly staff - even when you stay as a last person on a breakfast or a dinner - they will be supernice - that rare. Well done for that . Food variety of food 8/10 , great grill ! Morning omelet could be faster - long queue .
.Reception most of the time rammed but pro and with a smile. Pools - clean .Bathrooms - clean ( I mean...
Very nice hotel with great location by the beach. It takes about 15-20 minutes to check in one family in this hotel, so very long queues by the reception. Maybe they should do something about that. I have worked in a hotel and also stayed in lots of hotels but it has never taken so long to check in (we had no special needs or questions). After the pools close, huge seagulls and ducks come swimming...
Nice but very big hotel
With many kids
And towels with all sinners

Greatest food quality in all inclusive setup I've ever experienced.
Usually I'm not submitting reviews before my stay ends, BUT, today they've had tex mex corner on dinner which was all delicious and it marks 3d streak of very tasty food avaliable 3 times a day. I've also checked 5 different cakes, I don't even like cakes, every single one was delicious.
Choice of alcohol bevarages on all inclusive...
This hotel was just wonderful. Every single staff member was polite and friendly. The food was amazing, the hotel grounds and facilities - beautiful and our room was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
We had an excellent time celebrating my big birthday. I cannot thank the hotel enough. We received a great welcome in the early hours from Juan
The room was spacious. The grounds are well maintained. Breakfast gave a great selection to choose from.
Jose on reception was amazing, attentive and helpful.
Location was great giving access to the promenade and beach.
I would definitely recommend this hotel...
The hotel its self is a lovely place to be, beautiful views and lovely food to try each night. The only thing that ruined our last day was even though our transfer wasn’t due to pick us up until 7pm, the hotel had us check out at 12 noon so we couldn’t enjoy our last full day (paid for) before heading home. I also want to add that this information was small print on a completely different part of the...
The staff were absolutely fantastic – friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The rooms were spotless, with very comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel offers plenty of activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. The all-inclusive bar was excellent, with a wide selection and top-quality alcohol brands (not the cheap stuff!). Overall, a wonderful experience – highly...

We love this hotel and come and stay every year. All rooms have a beautiful view of the sea. Food is excellent!
Loved having “The Level” access. Perfect for breaks back at the hotel, nice staff, and not a terribly crowded poolside experience. Definitely worth the upgrade.
Perfect beach locale
Good location across the street from the beach. Rooftop pool/bar nice as well. Not in downtown Malaga so you'd have to cab into old town area. Was perfect for our last night in the area and quick drive to airport next morning.
We were three adults in an junior executive suite, which was spacious and we loved the large balcony with great views of the sea. Property was modernised, food at breakfast was good, and the beach area was great.
Two things that were very annoying though: 1) the elevators in the main building! They were terrible. Very tiny, one wasn't working correctly, and they took forever. It comes across as an...
The sanitary ware is all from Roca. There are performances in the evening. It feels like a reception point for European groups. The buffet restaurant is full of grandpas and grandmas in the evening. We stayed for two days and didn't see any compatriots. We only saw two Asians on the second day. They seemed to be from the Philippines. The hotel's breakfast is also rich, 15 euros per person. In the evening...
We enjoyed a four day break! The representatives were good, and a couple had a bit of attitude. For the most part, the service was good. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the portions were plentiful. Double shots of alcohol were like four shots in one, we had a good time at the bar.
The weather at this time of year was nice. UV was high, so I caught a tan, but the breeze was very chilly. The downer...

The holel is all right, we had superior rooms with balcony and see view, however, most of the rooms have a sea view here. Very kind, profesional and helpful stuff st the reception. We recommend GOLD option, esoecially for those who appreciate more quite, elegant atmosphere while enjoying your...
We had a generally pleasant stay. The sea view from our balcony was amazing and definitely a highlight. The food was repetitive but plentiful and satisfying.
However, be aware that check-out is strictly at 12 p.m., even if your flight is in the evening — no guest room is offered, only luggage storage. This was inconvenient as we were traveling with a small child who naps during the day.
There are...
We paid for superior rooms, really don’t bother. They placed three single beds into a tiny room (no bedrooms no privacy) three adults. Toilet was dirty. Receptionist didn’t care one bit just told come back tomorrow then come back in the afternoon. It use to be a lovely hotel but very poor standards
For the amount of money paid including "everything" I'm a bit septic about it. No drinks when you first got into the room, no beer before 10.30am, from 1100 pm drinks mega expensive. Food section is alright, but expect some past it's durability time, like been there for days. All staff seem nice with welcoming vibes. Walking distance to beach is around 1 minute. I'd give it 4 star and recommend it...
This all-inclusive was rather exceptional considering the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and our suite was very spacious. The bathrooms were big, but the shower wasn't adjustable. The food was decent, the hotel does themed nights each day, I recommend eating out on Saturday however since the selection of food was rather poor, and my friend received what may have been raw chicken (unconfirmed...

Stayed her in October the weather was brilliant and hot day and evening. Sleep was good hotel is the adult only side to the complex group beds were large and orthopaedic. Just had 6 nights here great hotel, great staff, lovely bedrooms, people complain about the food?? I’d like to see in there fridge at home!! There’s enough for every one lots of choice! Generally stay at the Pablo or Pedro but first time trying the Marco and so loved it we were stopping in one of the superior rooms which is a wow, my favourite complex and doing a short visit for three day's from Boxing day
This was a week break for just the two of us in September after the school holidays. We stayed in the Don Marco but there were three hotels in a complex and you could use the facilities in all of them. Check in was fine - greeted by a lovely and friendly receptionist who offered us a welcome glass of bubbly - nice touch! The room was absolutely fine - spotless and with very welcome efficient air...
I have just returned from a fabulous all inclusive week in Don Marco. The food was very good and the drinks were proprietary brands. We had a room overlooking the beach which had lovely views. My only complaint was the loud booming music from the Irish bar - the bass really blasted out! The old Town was well worth a visit, using the quaint lift for 50c each. Would definitely return.
Love Don Marco, stayed a good many times, staff excellent, breakfast this time was not as plentiful as before and is served in the hotel rather than don pedro or don Pablo. Our room was great with wonderful pool view but I just don't understand why sink is in the bedroom now and not in the actual bathroom ,im not a fan of the refurbishment. I like privacy while washing myself. Rooms are spotless and towels...

Great hotel handy to town
Great hotel lovely rooms and the food was lovely, just this time of year is full of spain pensioners who take over the bar that has the entainment in it not a space or seat
This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and we had another lovely short break. We had a pool facing room which was lovely. The resturant food was excellent, plenty of choice and The La Gioconda resturant was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We frequently used the cafeteria La Griego. All the staff are friendly and make you very welcome. We like the location of the hotel as it is a nice walk to the shops...
Some of the bar staff could be kinder. Lovely reception staff. All inclusive was very basic. Overall it was ok though. Lovely area, 10 min walk from sea front.
The hotel was ok and staff were friendly and helpful but mealtimes were very busy. Very little room to walk between tables and it was so busy the staff couldnt clear tables quick enough to seat the waiting people as hard as they tried. After placing coffees on a table i went to get breakfast, when i returned someone had taken my chair. It got chaotic on times with people pushing into queues to get...

Lovely hotel. Kept very clean. Staff very nice. Deposit for kettle bit annoying but it's necessary in the room. (Kettle also very old) Cleaning ladies were very nice. It felt very safe. Central to everything in Torremolinos. Would recommend for older people/families. Let us keep our luggage there post check out for a few hours which was a great help. Really enjoyed our stay.
Felt that we got our money's worth, don't know if it was the time of the year, but there were alot of large golfing groups, which wasn't a massive problem as they are away from the hotel through the day due to playing golf so left plenty of room around the pool area but did get rowdy on the evenings.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, restaurant and lounge areas were very clean and modern...
I have stayed here a few times now as the location is perfect. Literally one minute or two to the train station and the avenue at rear is lovely especially at night. The staff are friendly, the pools great, the place is clean and our room cleaned everyday with clean towels and cleaning staff go the extra mile. It's a great hotel there is no doubt but I won't give 5 stars because the food was very hit...
For the price we paid this hotel deserves 6 stars, if only I could give 6.
Food was absolutely amazing, buffet breakfast and dinner which included various types of food, a little something for everyone. And for the amount of people they need to cook for and still keep the quality of food at a high level is astonishing, I was very pleased!
Lovely pool area, gets the sun all day long. Just a little walk...
Was a nice hotel. Most staff were lovely some extremely rude. Food was awful and undercooked. It's in the centre of a Spanish village not much going on in this area. We were here in the summer and it wasn't great even through the summer months.
Located 10 minutes from the beach. Rooms are quite spacious but at least the rooms I stayed in could've used more space for the bathroom and less for the bedroom. Room and bathroom were clean, nice balcony and view of the sea. Walls are paper thin though. If you have a loud neighbor who enjoys staying up late with TV turned on, you're doomed and won't get much sleep. Food is mediocre, vegetables mostly...

The hotel isn't bad. But the reception service leaves a lot to be desired. They made me pay for another reservation because I mistakenly booked the day before, and when I arrived in the middle of the night, they told me to submit the cancellation request through the app, that there was no problem with them. The morning before I left, I spoke to Rosa at reception about my situation, as the app told...
Simple and elegant hotel with great service. The staff very helpful and happy. The quality of breakfast/brunch is great. Lots of shops around.
Close to the center of Torremolinos, 5 minutes walk from the train station, M110 downstairs to Malaga, fare 1.75 euros, 2.6 euros by train from the airport, simple and clean room, cups, thin blankets, toothbrush slippers need to bring their own, no kettle. There are several lounges in the lobby, a large reception room, a bar, machine coffee 2 euros, and machines selling snacks, the restaurant is very...
Very good hotel I recommend everyone here
Thanks
The walls are not sound proof. You will hear people coming home from the bar at 3 am and you will hear housekeeping as they clean in the rooms above. But at this low price point, I find the extra noise acceptable. It was really nice for a single travel during the winter.
The hotel is very cheap and of a decent standard for the money. It’s in the centre of town and had free parking close by. I would recommend for a weekend or short break

Returned from our 7th visit two weeks ago staying in a pool access room.over a number of years we have stayed in all 3 hotels in this complex, we prefer the don pedro for rooms and bar area and swimming pool.last year we stayed in a pool access room and decided to again this stay, room was good size with walk in shower ,outside patio set and sun loungers.last year we were closed to the bar area where...
Family of 6 which included 4 disabled persons (1 complete non-walker). We had previously requested 2 rooms with walk-in showers which were duly provided. The holiday was enjoyed by all as the service, cleanliness, catering and entertainment could not be faulted. However the stay was marred by some impacting problems: We had requested assistance at both airports and these were great. As the coach dropped...
This was our second visit to this hotel, having stayed there in November. Firstly the staff are amazing, they just never stop cleaning and maintaining the whole place. The food was excellent, always something to suit every palate. The whole towels on sunbeds from 7am was a utter joke, having said that we did witness a couple who actually had 2 beds in 2 different areas of 2 pools, very selfish behaviour...
We visited in April. My son loved the holiday, especially the indoor pool and the play park area. We were all inclusive and there was a good selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the bar has some nice snack menus too. Don Pablo was being renovated but it did not impact our stay one iota. Hopefully we will return some day. The hotel is just across the road from the beach which is great
Spent a few nights here. We’ve been here a few times but this time was disappointing. Check in was great, staff really helpful. The room was just ok, bit dated, small and musty smelling, we had a leaking roof in the bathroom and could hear adjoining rooms TV all night. Complained to receptionist who didn’t do anything. The usual breakfast area was closed so everybody was in the don pablo restaurant...

4.10.2025 My second stay at Hotel Amaragua in Torremolinos was generally okay, though the room was smaller than on my previous visit. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis — breakfast was lovely.
We chose not to have lunch by the pool, as the service was very slow; it was actually quicker to walk along the promenade to a nearby restaurant.
A couple of issues arose during our stay: one morning,...
Plus points:
Lovely hotel and location.
We had a sea view room, which was beautiful.
Breakfast was plentiful and very good, although we went down early on our last day and the bread was stale, presumably the days before.
Negative points:
There was a 7 day dance convention on in the hotel from early afternoon until 9am EVERY DAY 1st October to 8th October which we weren't made aware of when we booked...
Had a great time here on our holidays.
A well appointed hotel with very helpful and obliging staff. Food was plentiful and I'm sure something for everyone fit's the bill. Bar and entertainment were decent and as most of the clientele were of mature years nothing too raucous. The pool and garden were spotless as was the hotel and rooms. It is another hotel on the list of a revisit is needed
The hotel impressed me with its beautiful building and friendly staff, but what stood out the most was their humanity. When it was my husband's birthday, they kindly agreed to prepare a small cake. It was an unforgettable experience when they brought it to him at breakfast with a lit candle and heartfelt congratulations. Moments like these are often remembered and shared with friends, making it a wonderful...
This is a very nice hotel we enjoyed the food and the location is perfect. The room was good and everything was immaculately maintained. We have noticed over recent years that the area, La Carihuela, which used to be fairly quiet has become more and more popular with Dutch people and most guests were indeed middle aged Dutch people. Few children, but not quite adults only.
My wife & I stayed for 10 nights 12th - 22nd July. Had a lovely time & on the whole enjoyed our stay.

very clean property. some of the staff were very helpful and friendly, others not so much. reception staff were great. infinity pool is gorgeous. food options were mediocre, we ate outside the resort often. overall it was a nice stay in a great location. it caters more towards an elderly crowd, if you are a young couple i would probably choose a different resort.
What a fantastic hotel and location. I went with a friend and took my niece for her birthday. I will definitely go back.
Located was great but during our stay of 5 days we had rain and cold temperatures. This forced most guests to be indoors or around the bar areas. We felt overwhelmed by the amount of guests. A very well managed hotel. Made most welcome in reception, very clean throughout the hotel. Rooms excellent.
Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the marina were their are bars, restaurants, and shops to visit.

A 4-star hotel that fully met expectations. All the staff were extremely friendly and always available to help.
The food was good, with quality and variety. The nights were very lively, creating an excellent atmosphere.
Without a doubt, it was a hotel to visit again. A special thank you for the exceptional service from receptionist Khrystyna, who made all the difference with her friendliness and...
Last minute holiday break for me and my younger son for the Christmas. So was off season so not much to do which was fine with me not my son (lol). reception staff especially the ladies can not fault had issues around the food for my son they delt with it promptly.
Very polite and welcoming always with a smile great customer service.
Food wise was not bad not much halal options that for a hotel.like...
Stayed 7 nights all inclusive. Overall it was a good experience apart from issue with WiFi. WiFi was important for me as I had to keep in touch with office and plan my trip on google but there was no WiFi signal in my room. But the friendly staff changed the room on day 2 where I had reasonable signal.
Food was generally good choice and value for money but it was almost always lukewarm.
All inclusive...
Just back from a 5 night break staying all inclusive here. No complaints. Food was varied & mostly fresh and tasty to suit all tastes. We did go out and about to eat also, with plenty of great places to choose from. The room was spacious and clean and serviced every day. Had a sea view room with balcony, which is fairly small but didnt spend much time in the room anyway. 5 minutes walk to the...
Very old fashioned rooms and we had a terrible time with what we thought was bed bugs but turned out to be mosquitoes.
Rest of the hotel was nice and modern lovely main reception area, very clean throughout, food I thought was alright good selection.

dirty bathroom, room was very smelly
Like home. Clean and comfortable central hotel. Very friendly staff at reception. The manager is a great professional. Thanks again.
Location is great
MFC is just ok just I stay there again I won’t pay for MFC price not worth it
The hotel facilities are not bad at all. The rooms are normal and the customer service is also good.
As for cleanliness, I would say that the smell of the pipes leaves the bathroom with a bad smell. In my case, I spent two nights with a bad smell in the room, so I closed the bathroom door and opened the window to let the bad smell out.
I decided not to change rooms because I didn't have much time...
Interesting hotel, I would change the breakfast since I paid for a buffet and the buffet was very poor, nothing special, apart from the facilities
Good central location and not far at all to the lift to the beach. The pool area didn't seem to get much sun in winter months.

Superb visit on this our 16th stay. Allocated a room on 7th floor, amazing. Had a problem with a bad smell in the bathroom but this did not spoil our overall enjoyment of a superb hotel room. Breakfast fantastic as always. Look forward to going back.
This was my second year staying at MedPlaya Pez Espada Hotel, and once again it exceeded our expectations. The beachfront location is unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and direct access to the beach, which is one of the main reasons we chose to return. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with daily housekeeping. The staff were friendly, professional, and always welcoming...
For many years I have wanted to stay at the Pez Espada and this year I fulfilled my wish. The Pez Espada is located on the main promenade between Torremolinos and Benalmadena and both can be reached easily. My room was located on the 4th floor and had a small balcony that overlooked a car park. However you could see the sea and was really quite quiet. It may have been nosier at the height of summer...
Perfect location beach restaurant opposite the hotel had great food service location at a good price with excellent seafood! The hotel was excellent it suited our needs 3 friends we had the beach front junior suite which accommodated us well with fabulous views across the seafront! The hotel restaurant was busy at times serving good with plenty of choice you wouldn’t go hungry! We had a great time...
We had an excellent experience thanks to the wonderful service of Ladia. She always took great care of us, was extremely kind, and served us with a smile. She goes out of her way to help and makes us feel truly welcome every time. One of the reasons we love visiting the hotel restaurant is because of her outstanding service. Ladia is one of the kindest staff members we have ever met and truly deserves...
Not a 4* hotel based on classic rooms. Needed to be moved rooms due to no electricity in room. 2nd room same issue then rectified. Same evening on coming to use shower, shower head was dangerously hanging from wall. Rectified by maintenance. Shower very mouldy and room needed an update. Public area nice and breakfast was fine.Hotel staff not really bothered and bar staff took ages to take drinks order...

Excellent hotel. First experience of fully inclusive.
Nice cocktails and great buffet selection at meal times
Hotel itself is nice our room was lovely comfy big beds modern , met some lovely people , pool side and bar nice area , as for the food very low quality, always cold we ate out apart from twice which isn't the point of all inclusive! , was refused cushions for sunbeds one day as staff said it looked like rain so all guests had to lay on hard plastic loungers ! It didn't rain ! Not the worst hotel...
The hotel is pretty good, however food is cold and bland. There’s some good excursions to do outside of the hotel and the rooms are good, only thing is, be careful with cockroaches. The staff are very hard working and have great sense of humour. I would add, the entertainment and music finishes around 11pm at night. It’s very difficult to get to sleep before that time as the music and entertainment...
After spending 10 days at this hotel, I'd like to give an honest review in as much detail as possible.
On arrival we were seen to quickly and our room was ready, even though we arrived at just after 12. First impressions of the room we were very impressed, obviously recently refurbished but still very nice and great view of the sea and the hills.
Food wasn't very good most of the time but as with all...
Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, but as always the sunbed savers were out in force, but the good thing was, they didn't put them out til 10am so no getting up before sunrise to put your 8 towels on, so you can lay there for an hour. The food selection was extensive and nice could just do with being warmer, but there was a microwave available to use. Room's were modern and functional, bathroom was...
See photos Beware The hotel is infested in giant cockroaches and we came down with tummy bugs on the last day as the food was disgusting. Never in my life have we seen chicken nuggets with a brown middle. Would never stay there again
We are mid way into our weeks stay at this hotel.
