Very nice hotel with great location by the beach. It takes about 15-20 minutes to check in one family in this hotel, so very long queues by the reception. Maybe they should do something about that. I have just returned from a fabulous all inclusive week in Don Marco. The food was very good and the drinks were proprietary brands. We had a room overlooking the beach which had lovely views. The walls are not sound proof. You will hear people coming home from the bar at 3 am and you will hear housekeeping as they clean in the rooms above. But at this low price point, I find the extra noise acceptable. It was really nice for a single travel during the winter.

Very old fashioned rooms and we had a terrible time with what we thought was bed bugs but turned out to be mosquitoes. Rest of the hotel was nice and modern lovely main reception area,very clean throughout,food I thought was alright good selection. The hotel facilities are not bad at all. The rooms are normal and the customer service is also good. As for cleanliness, I would say that the smell of the pipes leaves the bathroom with a bad smell. In my case, I spent two nights with a bad smell in the room, so I closed the bathroom door and opened the window to let the bad smell out. Superb visit on this our 16th stay. Allocated a room on 7th floor, amazing. Had a problem with a bad smell in the bathroom but this did not spoil our overall enjoyment of a superb hotel room. Breakfast fantastic as always. Look forward to going back.

For many years I have wanted to stay at the Pez Espada and this year I fulfilled my wish. The Pez Espada is located on the main promenade between Torremolinos and Benalmadena and both can be reached easily. Perfect location beach restaurant opposite the hotel had great food service location at a good price with excellent seafood! The hotel was excellent it suited our needs 3 friends we had the beach front junior suite which accommodated us well with fabulous views across the seafront! Not a 4* hotel based on classic rooms. Needed to be moved rooms due to no electricity in room. 2nd room same issue then rectified. Same evening on coming to use shower, shower head was dangerously hanging from wall. Rectified by maintenance. Shower very mouldy and room needed an update. Hotel itself is nice our room was lovely comfy big beds modern , met some lovely people , pool side and bar nice area , as for the food very low quality, always cold we ate out apart from twice which isn't the point of all inclusive! , was refused cushions for sunbeds one day as staff said it looked like rain so all guests had to lay on hard plastic loungers ! The hotel is pretty good, however food is cold and bland. There’s some good excursions to do outside of the hotel and the rooms are good, only thing is, be careful with cockroaches.
