Caro Hotel

Caro Hotel is super fancy and luxurious but at affordable prices. The hotel is just off the historic center, about a 5-minute walk to the city’s main cathedral square. The room was super quiet and very dark, with big a comfortable bed and bathroom. Actually the room itself was quite large, with both our big suitcases open in each corner of the room that didn’t block a path from the bed to the bathroom. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Huge thanks to the staff for making recommendations and for their overall helpfulness.

My wife and I stayed at the Caro Hotel for two nights, and we look back on an amazing stay! The warm welcome and excellent service from the staff truly exceeded our expectations. All the amenities and facilities were outstanding. We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that, but I can’t imagine it would disappoint.

Having stayed at many top hotels around the world, I can confidently say that this hotel deserves a place on that list. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here when visiting Valencia, and we would definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip to the city.

If you want to stay in the center of Valencia without the noise and bustle, this hotel is a great choice. The building has some ancients inside, and the cozy rooms are individually designed. I would say it is literally a hotel with museum exhibits integrated into its design. In addition to this, the gentle and friendly staff will make your stay very comfortable. Highly recommend ✨💛

We went here on our honeymoon, the staff is super service minded and very friendly. They are super helpful and try take make it the best time you can imagine.

The location is superb and you’ve got easy access to a lot of sightseeing, shops and so on. But the hotel itself is a hidden gem in a quiet and calm street.

The only downside we experienced were a bit of noisy rooms. We could hear our neighbor snore during the night. Other from that the rooms are super nice and clean.

The beds are good and the option to get other pillows and extra sheets are a win.

We certainly will get back to this hotel if we visit Valencia! We had a great stay at Caro!

Wonderful boutique hotel tucked into a quiet corner away from the hustle and bustle of the central square. The staff was amazing from checkin to departure. We were greeted by our hostess who made us a delicious Valencian drink then gave us the run down of the site sites to see around town. We were in room 1 which was occasionally a bit noisy. However, weren’t too concerned because we left early and returned late most days.
The building itself is historic and used to be a palace. Lots of historical points of interest dating back to as early as the second century. QR codes are available all over the building to obtain more info on each artifact. All in all, a solid centrally located choice for your stay.

Wonderful home base to explore Valencia! This is a beautiful historic building converted to a boutique hotel. The service was incredible. The room was a bit dark but otherwise great. The bed and pillow was so comfortable! We had a great stay at Caro Hotel!

Caro Hotel was an absolute treat and made me fall in love with Valencia even more.

We were greeted by exceptional reception staff, with a charming and personal introduction to the city with a detailed map and a refreshing cup of iced coffee. This was a lovely touch and you could definitely feel how much he loved his city.

The rooms were tastefully designed with a perfect balance of dark minimalism and historic exposure. The attention to detail of leaving sweet treats after cleaning up the room, endless refillable water and free coffee and a huge selection to teas made our stay comfortable and homey.

As much as I’d like to keep this a sweet little secret for ourselves, Caro definitely deserves all the best attention. We can’t wait to return and stay at Caro again!

Fantastic hotel, I will definitely be back. Me and my sister stayed for a week and found that this location is superb and walkable to many sights, cafes and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was also delicious with a good wine selection. We enjoyed the kind, hospitable staff and quick coffee & room service. The included toiletries are great quality, and the beds and sheets are very comfortable.

The only downside is that there was a couple staying in the room across from us (there is a room that connects to the marquis suite) that complained of noise despite us being at a reasonable volume watching a movie at tv level ten. Noise doesn’t bother me, but if you are noise sensitive, use earplugs are there is also street noise due to the windows. It’s good to note that you can book both the marquis suite and the connecting room, and that would be perfect for a group trip or more privacy/space.

The Marquis suite is truly special, they leave out manuscripts for you to browse and the ceiling fresco is a wonderful thing to wake up to. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to explore the old city, and will surely be back myself.

One of the best hotels I have stayed, anywhere. The service is totally amazing. One of the staff even offered to run 200 meters down the road to fetch the taxi so we didn't have too.
There wasn't one thing they didn't think of, or offer.
The historical stuff, with videos too, were amazing.

We absolutely adored our stay at Caro Hotel. We were promptly greeted by the staff and offered water and/or coffee. We were given a map and a quick tour of the old city to gain our bearings. Check-in was easy and simple, and our room was ready 2 hours before official check-in time.

Our room itself was amazing. We stayed in room #15, the Arab Tower, which had the bed in the loft area. Something to consider if you do not want to navigate a flight of stairs in the middle of the night to gain access to the toilet.

No amenities were spared in the room. The free mini-bar included an assortment of drinks and snacks that were refreshed daily. And the bath products were plentiful, including a cute, little wooden hair brush.

The staff was always willing to help with directions or advice. They recommended a local restaurant and made reservations for us as well (and it ended up being my husband’s favorite meal of our whole trip). They were always willing to refill our water bottles with cold water or make us an espresso or cappuccino.

As with any hotels in any city, noise can be problematic. We did not experience this with our particular room, but one side of our room did abut a school, which I image could be loud during the week or school hours. As always, we travel with a sound machine to drown out street noise.

Loved the location of the hotel in the Old City and our experience here. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering staying in Valencia.
