Our family spent five days in this extraordinary hotel; we rarely post Google reviews, but we really needed to say something about the excellent service. The kindness of the personnel. The absolute immaculate cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel in general, which has expansive spaces, latest technologies and is very modern. The Level Lounge is a great experience, a place where you can relax, have a bite or a drink and have a great view of the city. The breakfast buffet is really a feast, service is very good and the personnel is really kind and efficient. Maria and Carla are very polite and helpful, as well as the manager who greated us with a smile every day.

I spent 6 days at the hotel. The hospitality was great. The breakfast buffet was very good and the treatment was great. The girl there, Maryam, was very nice. Whatever I needed, she provided.

Worth every penny. Only a little more than Holiday Inn Express on the other side of town but soooo much nicer. Amazing breakfast (like the best I have ever had in hotel). The rooms are generous in size with comfy beds and with plenty of marble. They are also very sound proof with only a little road noise reaching the upper floors (mainly motorbikes).Bar is very nice. Parking is steep at €24 euro per day but public transport is easy to access. Shame the pool is freezing.

We had a great stay with my family. The hotel took care of us, especially our little two year old. He had a great time on the outdoor patio and watching the sunset views over Valencia. Shout out to George at the bar for making the best, and hottest, espresso in all of Spain !

Had a great stay at the Meliá Valencia. The staff were super helpful assisting us with making reservations and arranging taxis. The gym and spa facilities were very good and the rooms were spacious and modern. There were lots of options for breakfast and they provided a gluten free breakfast pack with bread, muffins and cakes on request.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Valencia but is a short and reasonable taxi journey from all the main attractions. Would definitely recommend staying again.

Stayed 3 nights in a Junior Suite at Melia Valencia. I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but it was lacking in a couple of key areas.
Positives: great service, very spacious room, nice pool and sun deck, really large gym, on-site spa, enormous lobby, and located in a new and modern part of the city.
Negatives: the room was a little beat-up (stains on the carpet, scrapes and dents on the walls, marks on the furniture), and the room wasn't super clean (hair on the carpet and small remnants of children's toys on the floor).
Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel...just can't give it 5-stars because of the room condition and cleanliness.

Hotel Meliá is almost like my home when I travel to Valencia, the staff welcomes me as if I was family , every time; they make sure everything is up to standards and that I’m as comfortable as possible. My favourite part of the hotel is The Level on floor 26, Paula and Mariam are the best! They always make sure I have all my needs covered, they cater to my dietary needs and preferences and make sure everything is well stocked and that I’m having the best time :) they check on me throughout my stay to make sure everything is going smoothly and I always look forward to staying here and seeing them around.

We spent three nights at the Hotel Melia Valencia.
The first impression was very good, the reception area looks very modern and attractive. But unfortunately the hotel has some weaknesses in the details.
Negatives:
- Three elevators are simply not enough for the large number of rooms and guests, especially when one of the elevators is broken. This leads to long waiting times. It is also somewhat questionable why the elevator doors close so quickly. You hardly have time to get in and you bump into the door so often.
- Our room was also very damp, you could both feel and smell the damp. The furnishings in our room were a bit dated.
- The cleaning staff were friendly but the cleaning services were not particularly thorough.
- Finally, the staff at the pool bar were very unfriendly.
Positives:
- The reception staff were very friendly and competent, as were the staff at breakfast.
- The breakfast was also very good.
Conclusion:
You can certainly choose this hotel for one or two nights during a conference, but for a vacation in Valencia we would look for a different hotel next time. Unfortunately, our expectations of a 4-star hotel were not met.

The hotel was well designed except the elevator is definitely on Spanish time. Breakfast buffet was okay- not the best but not bad. Cocktail bar below is nice and varied drinks. Their hotel food to order was bland and spineless (but maybe appeals to English crowd?)

this was our first trip to Valencia staying two weeks at the Melia Hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the staff, the whole team around Fran is very polite and attentive. We especially enjoyed the evening at the bar. The service, especially from Alfons, was fantastic. Made us feel at home. 100% recommended.
