Hostel Diana Park

Great location and really nice staff at a very decent price. On arrival there is a made bed and if you arrive early or leave late you are welcome to use the kitchen. They can also keep your bagage safe if you prefer to do some touristing in town before checking in.

The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to the action and beauty of Helsinki. You can walk everywhere or the trams will pick/drop you a stone’s throw away. For hosting so many people (I estimate capacity of 45-50) this places was extremely quiet. I had a courtyard side bedroom with a bed by the window and that was quiet too. Kitchen is well equipped for those camping out multiple days, a grocery store is less than 3 minutes walk. Totally recommend to anybody that wants an affordable place, meet people, be close to most of downtown Helsinki and still have quiet time to rest. Staff is beyond patient and helpful. Thanks.

The hostel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the central station. To find it is a little bit difficult, and you have to walk up a big flight of stairs. Check-in was simple and quick. The 4 person room was ok. It was quite spacious with a sink. However, there was essentially no storage areas. Similarly, it was very warm in the room. The bunk beds were ok. They were comfortable, but a bit noisy whenever someone moved. It's nice that towels and linen are included in the price. The other facilities such as showers and the kitchen were both good. While they claim to be a hostel, there was an absence of any social features. There was kind of a common area in the kitchen, but no official common area. The wifi is free, but the signal was weak in the room. As others have mentioned, the key situation is a bit weird, but you get used to it. Overall I do recommend this hostel, particularly due to its location.

Really located in nice spot,bar.restaurant.shop.park just nearby.the staff was nice and helpful.but it’s an old building which no escalator. A sink in room is really helpful.Don’t bring big suitcases !

GREAT staff, excellent location, pricey (but welcome to Scandinavia), close to shopping/museums/restaurants/Metro. My experience there was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and provided good advice. I let them in advance of my car accident and they were accommodating.

I'd like to give this establishment 5 out of 5. The staff is really great and she even let me check in almost four hours before the ordinary check in. They also let me stay at the hostel after checking out. The hostel is very clean and the location is excellent just ten to fifteen minutes from the train station and only three minutes from the Swedish theatre. Towels are provided and the reception is open 24/7. All rooms have free WIFI and a sink. The beds are already made on arrival and there is free coffee and tea in the kitchen which has fridge, freezer, stove and microwave oven. The only downsides I can thin of is that there is no lift for disabled people and no breakfast if you're into that. If you have lots of luggage that's your problem... There's a one minute walk to the closest supermarket. I can really recommend this place!

Very beautiful youth hostel, very warm and convenient

This was my first hostel stay ever. Because Helsinki's accommodations were so pricey I was forced to stay at a hostel which cost more than a hotel in other European countries. No it was not cheap. I had my own room because I cannot share a room with strangers. This hostel was really lovely. The young staff worked briskly all day cleaning the hostel and were very friendly. The room was cleaned daily and the entire place was warm and welcoming with a nice kitchen. I was really impressed by it ...just not the price

I've been in Hostel Diana 4nighs, booking almost every night at the last second. The staff has been always sooo kind, friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean with a warm kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and the bathrooms are definitely more hotel style than hostel once. I strongly recommend this hostel ☺️
