i had a great stay in this hotel. i experienced a refreshing atmosphere. quite impressive architecture. a unique atmosphere. i recommend this hotel. but the only problem is the location. far from city center / tourist area

Enjoyed the Finnish sauna, but with surcharge, breakfast is nice and included, room is very small. Not far from town centre and airport, Uber is really convenient and affordable.

The room phone was broken. We notified and reported it, but no one came to fix it. On the first day of check-in, one of the free water bottles in the room was almost opened. Later, the waiter replaced the water with new one.

I attended conference for 2 days. Food served during lunch buffet was really of good quality. Deserts served during lunch time looked like bakery chef craft with berrys and chocolate along with simple colorful macaroons.

The location was good for a walk because it was in front of the lake. The sauna and swimming pool facilities were also good. The only thing was that breakfast was late (7:30) because it was summer, so it was a little inconvenient.

The room was very good! There were two large beds and a single bed for children! Toothbrushes, slippers and other equipment were also provided! There was also a soda making machine. We stayed just one night at the start of a Baltic tour. The hotel was well located just 20 minutes walk to the harbour. Opposite the hotel was a decent supermarket and around the hotel were several restaurants and bars but nothing noisy. The room was a good size with walk in shower and a decent range of toiletries. Very nice hotel, the rooms the breakfast the facilities and the service are all amazing. The only downside to this hotel is the location. It is around a 30 minute metro to Helsinki and to get into espoo you have to take a tram for 11 stops and then get on a bus for 3 which makes it quite complex to find the location on arrival. Craziest hotel I have recently visited. We can spend a full day at the hotel just to chill and relax. Spent a few days here due to attending a conference in the city. Absolutely loved the place - now part of the Hilton chain but with real underlying character. My room was reasonably large and very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with the bathroom becoming waterlogged after showering. Comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Such a serene experience. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful and greenery neighbourhood. It has a big park close to it where you could take long quiet walks!

The location is great for exploring the nature outside the city by bike, and it’s only a 20-minute tram ride or a €15–20 Uber into Helsinki city center. The sea view room was worth the upgrade. However the air conditioning in the room was not very strong, and I had to go to reception to request a key to open the window. When I did, it was difficult to open and covered in spider webs.

The room we were assigned does not have a window. So, no natural light nor air. It has a huge column in the middle (1 meter of diameter), reducing the free movement in it. Very uncomfortable. In addition, there was no television, but a beamer with a big screen (no instructions to use available). All in all, the bedroom was clean but far from the standards one expects in this type of 4-star hotels....

Good hotel Very clean hotel. Great location near the tram station with easy access to Messukeskus. The only problem for a tea lover like me is that the room do not contain a kettle. I like the vibe of the building in the common areas, but the room was a tad... not inviting. It was clean and quiet but could be A LOT cosier. No fridge. It was a double clean and large room in the very city centre with helpful receptionists and smiling restaurant staff. I can only suggest to have more sauna rooms because of which I could not use and to renovate the entrance of bathroom which is too high and easy to hit your toes

Everything was great as others have said. I wanted to comment especially on the restaurant where breakfast was served. Wonderful historic rooms overlooking the harbour. A highlight for me. Also worth knowing that although it did not have a restaurant serving lunch and dinner, the food served in the bar is actually very good.

I went to a concert in Helsinki and this hotel was near (walking distance) away from the Icehall. Service at hotel was very good and the room I got was at 11th floor, nice view.
