We recently spent 10 days at Icone Hotel in Annecy and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the charming old town, with easy access to restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies and shops. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Annecy Lake and the famous Palais de Luil making it ideal for exploring the area on foot. It is a safe place and can easily explore other villages using the bus.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in great shape throughout our stay. The reception and housekeeping staff were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which really made a difference.
We truly enjoyed our time at Icone Hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Annecy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay in this lovely town!

Location was excellent and staff were very friendly. There was some noise at night given it was a Friday but very manageable for one night. The room did have a few slightly broken or unkept aspects, but overall a good stay and value for money in comparison to other rates nearby

Cheap is cheap. Found old hairs on the bed and bathroom but perfect location with parking just round the corner.

The lady in reception was absolute nice, she helped us alot throughout our stay im Annecy. The room is okay with all the tuorist need, my room has a view directly to the old town street. Location is the best where it's right next to the old town, or you can say it's in the old town, couple of minutes to the bus station, so everything is in your control.

Great location, our room was super quiet (room #1) which surprised us as all the reviews said they’re noisy, it didn’t face the pub but faced the street instead. Older but working air conditioning for summer and clean.

Nice hotel but very noisy. We were given a room opposite a brewery and it is impossible to sleep. Guests slamming doors and shouting down the stairs. Difficult to rest.

Dirty and had a horrible nights sleep, firstly there was black mold along the shower tray it had clearly not been cleaned in a while. There was a loud buzzing noise that came from the air conditioning unit and went off all night frequently which made it hard to fall asleep, there was also no curtains in the room resulting in us waking up very early to the sun. You could see where a curtain rail used to be on the wall but they hadn’t bothered to put it up again. The electrical sockets were not fully attached to the wall and you could hear the electric buzzing from one socket when you plugged something in. The staff were also very unfriendly and unhelpful. Once we raised all these issues with a staff member she replied the mold must have been missed but you could tell it had been building up for a while. We asked to speak to a manager but she said we could only call the hotel the next day to speak to someone else. We also said we refused to pay full price however they charged my card the next day 15 euros less of the total price however I would say that is still nowhere near acceptable for the number of issues the room had. I have attached photos and videos of each issue as well.

We were concerned because some of the bad reviews, but fortunately we were very satisfied!
The hotel is perfectly located on the entrance to the old city, above very good restaurants - but it is very quiet at nights(even on the weekend) !
In addition, there is free parking within a few minutes walk.
The only downside is that there is no elevator, but the receptionist was kind enough to keep us the baby's stroller at the lobby.

I booked a room here and cancelled OVER A MONTH before I was due to arrive and they charged me full price for the room and what's worse is that they refuse to give me a refund. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. They have zero customer service and will just take your money, even though their cancellation policy states that you can cancel for free up to up to 24 hours before arrival - this is not the case. This is theft.
