The superior double room it is like a Junior Suite in other places. Very good quality for the price.

Large & clean rooms (they will however need a little revamp soon to keep the “Grand” in Grand Hotel 😅), good location to explore the old town, parking available right next to the hotel.

We had a really lovely experience at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a garden view suite. If you have a car, as we did, you can park nearby in the St Charles underground car park. Speak with the hotel as they can arrange a discount for you.

The entire staff is extremely professional and service focused. They ensure your stay is most enjoyable. The rooms are quaint, clean and very comfortable. The location is conveniently near key Metro and bus lines. Their breakfast is outstanding. The Aiglon will be the destination of our future vacations in Paris.

2 min or less walk to Avignon Train Station. 10-15 min walk to different brasseries, patisseries, boulangeries, and even pizzerias! 15-20 min walk to the beautiful and historic Palais des Papes. Acceptable hotel that we used for bed and breakfast on a short stop in the city. We chose it because it has a charging spot for EV in the parking. They said they had 2, one generic electric cars and one only for Teslas. I didn't see the generic one, but the Tesla one worked great. This is an absolutely magical hotel. Everything from top to bottom was fantastic. Waking up in the shadow of the Popes Palace is a surreal feeling. This is the only place I'd ever stay at when visiting Avignon in the future.

Hotel great. No restaurant room service of VERY limited menu only. Weather hot. Air conditioning in rooms is either not up to the job or manipulated from elsewhere. It makes NO difference how you set the controls in your room. My father was taken ill on rhe journey here ans the very ineffective air conditioning in his room did not contribute to him feeling any better at all.

A nice hotel very well located just to the side of the Popes Palace and with easy walk of all the main attractions of the town including the bridge. Approximately 1 kilometres flat walk to Avignon Centre station (with train connections to Avignon TGV station). Good rooms. Also has bar and restaurant (closed for renovations when we visited).

Our stay was perfect from a to z ! Everything you can expect from a good Ibis Styles hotel. Very clean, very well decorated, very friendly staff (reception, breakfast and bar) and a very soothing and enjoyable pool/restaurant area. Rooms in "new" part of hotel have catwalk approach, louvered shutters covering balcony. Room initially assigned to me was on the top floor, had no windows, only a skylight covered by a shade, and open shower area. Cloister view from main hallway is lovely.

I think we would’ve enjoyed our stay more if we did not stay on the “modern” side as advertised on their website. The room had stained carpet and what looked like spilled coffee streaks on the wall. The bathroom and shower were in a hallway attached to the room and had a very strong musty/moldy smell. I loved staying here. It's close to everything to see in Avignon, easy to get to from the train station, it's wonderfully decorated, and the staff were all courteous and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had more space than in other French hotel rooms (which are notoriously small). I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Good value for your money for a short stay. Service staff are very friendly and helpful. Bikes can be park safely in the back garden. Fresh croissants and baguette in the morning for breakfast. Max. Parking height in the area is 1.9m. We had to park in the parking lot located at the ferry wheel, which was cheap, first 4 hours free and from 17:00-9:00 is also free.

Just fine for what you can expect from a budget hotel. Staff is friendly, but do not ask them to call a taxi for you. For a 10-12 euro ride on the meter of an official taxi to the tgv train station, we paid 20 euro and even 30 euro another time. I suspect a kickback scheme of the staff and befriended drivers.
