Hotels in Clermont-Ferrand

We were travelling by car through Europe and we found this hotel vet comfortable. Close to the main road, very comfortable bed, restaurant on site, secured car parking.

Good hotel for a overnight stop if you are traveling. Free guarded parking included. Restaurant had a limited menu and it's average. Rooms are clean and quiet. I would stop here again

Nice clean hotel with a friendly staff. Great place to recharge a Tesla as well. The special Christmas season dinner was very good. We only stayed one night and didn't use many of the amenities but it was indicated that there is a pool, spa and gym for the guests. The only negative part is that the hotel is located in an industrial zone, so the views aren't very interesting.

Good restaurant for a Tesla charging stop: quick, delicious and wort the price. Excellent V3 supercharger and some destination chargers. Quite busy, but no problem with that capacity.

Surprisingly good airport hotel it is a 20 Euro cab ride to the town centre. Super staff and large clean rooms. good breakfast only disappointment is the evening restaurant menu it is limited and actually not great really not up to what you would expect in France TBH.

Very good hotel. The restaurant is excellent, very friendly staff, good condition overall. The gym might use a couple more equipment, but the two hot tubs are a killer touch.

The staff was friendly and helpful at all hours. The location is excellent with many food and sight-seeing options nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The spa area was well equipped and clean. There is parking available in a garage below the hotel, which was really convenient and reasonably priced. We will stay here again.

The staff was warm and friendly. Very helpful and their English was good. Overall a nice place to stay. The breakfast is good but has the standard French style of eggs and bacon that's not a favorite of most Americans I would say.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was wonderful and well maintained the week we were there. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Place de Jaude. Parking was convenient and quite secure. I couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel.

Good room with beverage making. Just one observation. We were on 5th floor, yet there was no opening stop on the window.

A great value hotel with wonderful staff, and good beer! The rooms were great and included a bath, were quiet, and were easily accessible by a lift. There was also easy access from the main road to the underground parking.

A good location, great parking, standard room but comfortable. Bed not hard enough and duvet too hot. Staff as been the dark point here, at the reception: not welcoming, not helpful, no sense of the customer service, I left with a nut in my guts for the way I have been treated. Cleaner staff did even say ‘hi’ back. The staff from the bar are at least smiling and helpful.

The reason why I have chosen this hotel is because of the location and proximity to Michelin office. The front desk team are so friendly and helpful. Magnifique! The hotel is decorated with attention to the detail. The personal is very friendly and professional. The SPA is clean and cozy. The massage with Alice was a trip to heaven. She feels each the points of tension and works them out. Here massage techniques are really good.

It is a great hotel, clean, cozy with very comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast and good service. There is a outdoor parking that is best reserved for cars taller than 1.90 meters, but there is also parking on the ground floor for small cars.

A great hotel - we stayed for one night en route from Roscoff to Nice. Lovely staff who speak great English. Rooms were large and comfy with a lovely bathroom & great shower. Dinner was nice, not a large menu but enough. Breakfast was an excellent choice - cooked, cold, pastrys, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, teas, coffees. All very secure. Car park is good although quite tight. A great place to stay.

Very nice hotel with courteous staff. The food is also great. I travelled in a group of 7 from Nigeria for a business meeting and we truly enjoyed our stay. Sadly, a particular employee named Gabriel was rude to us in our last night while we were having a short meeting. We reported to the hotel management, and I'm sure they'll deal with it accordingly.

It has what you need and with a perfect location. Clean rooms and common areas and the gym is good but of course basic.

Good budget apparthotel. You can do some cooking as well. The breakfast options were not so great. Same food day after day, and to my shock they served chicken wings in breakfast.

Very near to the city centre. Crew very kindly. No bidet in the bathroom. No air conditioner in the room with 36° outside...

The food for breakfast is just OK. The rooms are very small and bathroom shower gets water all over the floor.

Big, spacious apparments, the staff are really helpful, our room wasnt ready when we arrived, so they offered us free coffee, biscuits and cake. Great location in the center of town, surrounded by shops, bars and places to eat.

Not great, but works fine. Charged 125€ for extending to two more days. I stayed here for two weeks in a single bedroom studio apartment. There was all the necessary items including a microwave, stove, a kettle, coffee maker, a tv etc. Wifi was horrible, then I told the receptionist and she gave me a modem and it worked fine. Can get taxi arranged if you want. Also includes an air heater. Okay view...

Appart'City is not simple rooms but a real flat with everything you might need. Kitchen of middle size and bathroom with tube and a huge double bed for us. Everything was clean. We appreciated the tiny dishwasher in the kitchen. The location is in the center of Clermont 5min walk from the tramway and 10min walk from the jaude place (the most center of Clermont Ferrand) the price was not so high. Great...

Not a bad hotel but some rooms might be better than ours. The front desk seemed to have a lot of people but there was not much interest in us as they seemed too busy to be able to take notice of us. When we arrived we found a kitchenette that was totally empty of everything and no note to let us know that we were to go to reception and request utensils, pots, pans, glasses. The hotel is located in the centre of town, great if you're attending something at the nearby stadium (concert or sports) or visiting the Michelin museum. Otherwise the area is a bit on the rough side and not close enough to the shopping or cultural centre of Clermont (Place de Jaude and Place de la Victoire). The hotel staff were really helpful, professional and welcoming. A big thankyou to Ismail who was on reception for christmas eve. Very nice hotel with large rooms. Rooms heated at night. Night staff very friendly and professional, unfortunately cannot say the same of day the staff, who are unhelpful and impolite.

Great location, cosy rooms. Great buffet breakfast. Restaurant closed at weekends which is a real pity. Hotel common areas in need of renovations (corridors carpers very dirty). Make sure you ask not to be disturbed if you want a sleep kn in the morning. Pricy in light of the above. Parking very expensive

Nice executive room with clean raining shower. Bed was comfy and mini-fridge offered fro free snacks and beverage. The morning breakfast was a very nice continental breakfast buffet. Staff was lovely.

A really nice overnight stay. Very dog friendly, lovely and helpful staff, superb breakfast and very comfortable room. All right in the centre of Claremont Ferand and with own car park. We will definitely be back!

The hotel has an interesting literary theme, with sample texts and books in the room. If only I had been staying longer, I would have attempted to read the book! Great value hotel in easy walking distance from the Cathedral and CF nightlife. Rooms are clean and spacious and parking is available in the hotel. Breakfast offers a nice choice of fresh products. Perfect stay for one night.

The hotel is in a great location with tram access on corner and many restaurants / shops within easy walking distance. Only 'complaint' is that AC turns off automatically but became use to this. Hotel is clean and front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choices and the view from 6th floor breakfast room was amazing. Good hotel in a good location. We took advantage of a spontaneous commercial gesture due to a problem with the boiler. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in a cozy atmosphere and the staff is at 4 star level.

Very nice hotel, room was clean, wifi was fast, staff were friendly, breakfast options were plenty(eggs, pancakes, cereal, baguettes, breads, jams, croissants)! The 4-legged supervisor was very friendly too, although he expects tips in shares of your breakfast 😸. There’s also a bike rental just up the road which is super convenient! Not sure if it’s specific to this hotel, or hotels in France, but...

Clean, friendly staff & pet friendly, secure parking at night at no cost. The rooms are spacious and clean. Perfect place for a stop over. Location is a bit off if u would like to walk into town, as it is located about 30 mins walking & in a bit of a shady industrial area. You need a car or will need to take a taxi into town.

Nice and quiet hotel, with big bedrooms. Nor located far away from Be-Ys (if you work there, or are invited at this company). Decent beds. No warm water for shower on the morning.

I liked the size of the superior double room. All establishment throughout was clean and tidy. Restaurant was a little disappointing for lunch. Breakfast quality was good but a bit pricey for the content. Front desk staff is helpful if solicited directly at the desk. The QR code for room service did not seem to work. The hotel was quiet during May bank holiday week-end. A cute house cat sometimes wonders...

An excellent modern hotel in the center of the city. Nice view on the biggest square of C.F. . It has no restaurant but around the square and in the small streets are a lot of nice restaurants. If you are a shopping buff next to the hotel there are two shopping malls. This hotel is a must if you visit Clermont Ferrand. A value for your money. The personnel is very friendly , efficient and helpful

Awesome people and great customer service as expected from Mercure. The best location in town, on the Place de Jaude, right above the shopping center. Rooms overlook the Place and when it's holiday season there are plenty of activities including the amusement park, as well as cafes, restaurants, and plenty of shopping outlets

The breakfast is awesome! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. The room service is also outstanding.

Very clean room the bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Shower temp was great immediately. Evening meal in the bistro was just what was needed. The highlight I have to say was the breakfast though. Fantastic choices. An improvement would be lights in car park for dark morning departures. Highly recommended. Watch your sat nav instructions though as we ended up back on the motorway...

Great location. Rooms are warm and cosy with a shower room inside. French tv with over 30 channels of gibba gabba. Good choice of continental breakfast. Dogs are welcome too.
