Great views. Great breakfast. Rooms very nice. Bathrooms very modern in a classic hotel setting.

My room was very small without any view and not in the main building. I did not liked it at all. The Hotel was empty but they did not give me any upgrade. That’s why I also cancelled my dinner reservation in the Hotel.

We went there for a drink. The ambience was fantastic. The cocktail was fantastic. However the waitress brought the bill with the first order!!!!! I've got a few problems with that. Firstly I do not appreciate when the bill is served without asking. Secondly it puts me off from ordering the second time. We wanted to eat dinner there but decided not too. The hotel needs to rethink this practice. Otherwise a great service in a great ambience.

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake, trying to get a drink from the bar was very hard work, asked staff and were told there was a private function and the bar was closed, asked at reception who got a manager and apologised and said it is open, every time we wanted a drink over a 2 day stay we seemed to get ignored by the staff where other people were getting served.

Nice room, probably renovated, in a hotel close to the lake in Gérardmer. The hotel has a spacious parking.
Breakfast is with a very complete buffet and in a nice setting - a bit too dark for summer but probably very cosy in winter.
There is a garden in front where it's very good sitting and enjoying the summer afternoon with a book, while overlooking the lake. Romantic, yes. 😉

Excellent location on the edge of the lake .The room was clean and modern with a good shower and the breakfast was a good continental. Didn't have dinner in the hotel only some drinks there was a piano and a pool table with good seating areas .

Location was beautiful. Breakfast ok/good.
The Pool was very cold.
There is a biljart but they took the balls away for no reason. Even when we asked it they wouldn't gave us the balls.
The bar closed around 10pm.. this was a pity.

Great location but poor service and no air conditioning so rooms extremely hot in the summer.

Its ok overall, service is hit and miss, rooms are small and a bit tired, pool is nice, location by the lake is lovely which can be seen from the terrace, breakfast is typically french.
