Hotel Lille Europe

I just cannot fault this hotel. Perfect position being so close to both train stations, close to Lille town centre, friendly staff, lovely rooms, wonderful breakfast! What's not to like?? I will definitely return!

First I want to thank the staff for their tremendous help. I landed in lille around 9:30 am with a bad fever. Our check-in time was 3 pm.
The plan initially was to drop off our luggage at the hotel walk around lille (as the hotel is located 2 min from the euroline station and is central to all the tourist spots).
However due to my fever I was extremely tired and cold. We requested the staff at the hotel if we could get an early check in as I was unwell. The staff immediately gave us a room. This is unheard of in Europe hotels. Rarely have we ever got our rooms 1 or 2 hours before our check-in time. But the staff at this place gave it 6 hrs beforehand. I was so grateful for what they did. I was in no state to walk around anywhere. I'm so thankful to the guys who were at the front desk that morning. I'm sorry I didn't get your names to call you out here. But thank you gentlemen for your help. Your gesture helped me immensely. I am so grateful to you two.

This place is a great choice for Eurostar travelers as it's right outside the station , connected to the mall and walking distance to most of Lille's tourist attractions.
I barely could step out as I was unwell but my wife had a great holiday walking around Lille.

Again thank you Hotel Lille and the staff there, especially the two gentlemen on duty at the front desk on September 20th around 9:30-10 a.m.

We received a lovely warm welcome at reception. The location was brilliant right next door to a Westfield Shopping centre and 3 minute walk from the metro and 6 minutes from the train station.

Room had great beds, very comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities in the room was unusual for a European hotel and most welcome.

We didn't have the breakfast with so many places to choose from near by but mainly, it was a bit pricey.

Staff were very helpful, allowed us to store our bags as we shopped and took in the sites. Only problem was the bathroom door looked unfinished and never closed fully.

We visited most of the things we wanted to see very easily from this location, mainly by train/metro which was quite simple to use if you know the London underground.

Most stations seemed safe and clean but we didn't see staff on platforms only at the machines sometimes to help buy tickets...also nice and friendly. Many spoke English but my school girl French got me through.

Best places for us was Mama Shelter, a roof top restaurant with a limited view but great food...see photo, and La Piscine Musee art museum a swimming pool centre converted into an art museum...with a pool still in the middle!

Excellent value. Walking distance to the old city and almost next door to the two main train stations

I had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were complete and clean. The staffs were very friendly. There were a lot of choices for breakfast too

Amazing location, but extremely basic hotel. No AC, very very very poor and slow WiFi 🛜 making it unusable. Only recommended for the location if you travel in Eurostar and want to be nearby.

Lovely hotel, fulfils all my needs. Great location.
