Absolute Hotel République

The staff is very friendly. There are no amenities. The rooms are small and old. The TV is from the early 2000s. The shower is not very good and requires you to push a button every fifteen seconds. The elevator is incredibly slow and your room card will stop working every day. You will have to replace it at least once a day, if not twice. The mattress was sunken in the middle, which is fine for one person, but good luck if there are two of you. It is in a good neighborhood, but the restaurant next door is quite rude when it comes to sharing space outside of the hotel entrance. Every little sound is heard between rooms. You can hear people cough, their phone calls, etc. If I didn’t have to pay €200/night to stay here, I would give it a 3/5, but it was a terrible value at that price.

Travelling through Italy and Switzerland then final destination Paris, we were so happy until we saw the hotel which should be Motel, Mansour our reception was an amazing also very informative and helpful but the rest was awful experience. We originally booked for 4 nights but we cancel it right away however we end it up staying for a night since we reached hotel after 2:00 PM. we slept only 4 hours and paid about $270 for it! We paid an extra for another hotel for our 3 days remaining and then we start enjoying Paris. By the way, only location was good.
