The best about this hotel is obviously its location. It is a walking distance from almost all key Paris attractions. It is also within 10-20 mins of walking distance from many restaurants, bakeries, pubs and grocery stores. Close to major bus stands and the metro. They have a 24 hour reception but we did not find them very helpful. The apartment rooms have kitchens and basic cooking utensils and dinnerware. There is a gym ans a laundry room where you can wash your clothes a fee. Housekeeping is weekly but you can help yourself to whatever items you need from the front desk. The rooms are compact but well designed EXCEPT for the loft rooms (don't book these - you will end up with neck and back ache with all the bending you need to do in the room). The rooms are well lit, have multiple electrical outlets and the beds are decently firm. Balconies overlook the street. Not a great view but it's nice enough.

Stayed here with my wife. Location is very good. Walking distance to Louvre and Notre Dame. Also close to train station (€2.50 to get anywhere in city). Hotel is boutique and while it looks old, it has a quaint familiarity and warmth. Best to take room with view of Seine. Will come back again.

Couldn’t have been more satisfied with our stay. Family of 4, 2 kids (6/8). We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and it was perfect. Location was amazing, we were able to come back to hotel each afternoon for a quick rest. Very safe and clean. Staff were wonderful. Helped us call a taxi for the train station and find different restaurants. Highly recommend!

I would give this hotel a 5+ if I could. Mabinty and Estelle greeted us at reception. They were efficient, professional, helpful, and courteous. During our entire stay the desk staff were eager to help. Our room was typical size for a European hotel, comfortable, and clean. The location is unbeatable. It is a five minute walk or less to the RER and metro. You can get to CDG in under an hour. Some reviews complained about a lack of housekeeping. This is a self-catering hotel. You have a mini fridge and stove in your room. You can change your towels and sheets as often as you like. It is perfect. Making one's own bed and keeping a tidy room while on vacation is easy to do and hardly an inconvenience given the great service and perfect location. We will be back.

I would rate Citadines Saint Germain in Paris 4.5 stars. The best part of this hotel is its unbeatable location—right on the Seine, at the edge of the Latin Quarter. It's within a 5-minute walk of iconic landmarks like Notre Dame, the Louvre, Sainte-Chapelle, and Luxembourg Gardens. You can even walk to the Eiffel Tower if you're up for it! The area is filled with restaurants, and the Latin Quarter offers a vibrant atmosphere.

We were fortunate to get what seemed like the largest room in the hotel, a full apartment with a bedroom, living room, and small kitchen. While there were a few quirks for someone coming from the U.S., nothing was a major concern. I was initially worried about the sofa beds, but they were foam mattresses and surprisingly comfortable. As some reviewers mentioned, the carpets, especially in the hallways, do look a bit dated, but it didn’t bother us much.

The staff was very courteous, especially Gabriel, who was extremely helpful. Overall, it may be a bit pricey, but the location is unbeatable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room booked was a deluxe studio which was very dirty, carpet badly stained in both hallway and room. Walls had a large crack next to the desk and gyprock missing from corners. The window sills paint was peeling the small balcony had peeling paint on banister and a filthy floor. Bathroom shower had bad mildew and not sealed tiles, shower curtain stained on bottom, power outlets dirty and with dust surrounding them. Curtains in room not affixed falling down
Nothing Deluxe about room 3603 this apparently is a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star.
Very disappointed 😞
Staff told us booked out so could do nothing.
Had booked and paid for 4 nights and have left after 1 night, due to condition and concern for our health staying in this studio
Have asked for room tax to be refunded for nights not used. Fingers crossed will happen
This facility needs a major overhaul obviously not maintained for a number of years.

The only good thing about this Hotel is the location. Rooms looks like 80's rooms, breakfast is so poor and tastless dont pay for it, lift is so old, slow and dirty, but the worst is the service don EVER trust what réception tolds you, always check twice with different people at reception. They dont inform your properly about anything and even treat you rudly. Im so sorry but my experience was not good at all.

Like others have said previously, the rooms are a bit tired. But they will apparently be renovating in the next few months. You cannot beat the location and the service was top notch. We stayed during the Olympics, so the prices were a bit inflated, but so nice having a kitchen to use during our stay. Would stay there again!

Fabulous location, lots of space in the studio room. Well equipped and access to plenty of clean towels, coffee, tea. Decor a little tired in places ( bath damaged and floor in entry hall to studio water damaged) but spotlessly clean and not enough to put us off coming back.

We stayed 6 night in a deluxe room. It was at the rear of the building, very nice and spacious with a well appointed kitchen. The room had nice windows and a balcony that opened up to a courtyard with grass and trees. The room was exceptionally quiet each and every night. The elevator worked flawlessly and came super quickly when we pressed the button. Nice touch that the room key card was required to start the elevator and also to open the front door at the street. This significantly added to our feeling of safety. Much appreciated. In the middle of our stay we received an unexpected refresh and cleaning of the room, the bathroom, the bedding and towels. It was great to return to our fully refreshed room after a day of exploring the city. All in all, we were very happy with the location and the accommodations. Last but not least: only a 6 minute walk to get the best fresh bread and croissants every morning! Reception staff were super helpful and polite. The coffee machines in the lobby were great!
