Hôtel Joséphine by Happyculture

The hotel has just been renovated and it smells bad. The front desk was not very enthusiastic. They refused to change some coins for the bus. There was no drinking water in the hotel. You had to ask the waiter to get water in a glass bottle. In short, the price was worth the service. I probably won't choose this place next time.

As our planned booking had been suddenly cancelled, luckily we found this hotel in trip.com. The room service and breakfast are unexpected good. The hotel location is convenient, safe and closed to M transport stations and our desired dining locations within few minutes walk. Highly recommended to first time and visitors in Paris.

I do not know where to start this staff is absolutely wonderful warm, kind and just cannot do enough for you. I am a solo traveler and I truly felt as if I were with family. The hotel is having renovations done but it is beautiful. My room I was given a free upgrade was perfect clean very clean! Tea and utensils wee in my room I had a beautiful street view . Elevators were perfect plus the stairs if you want.
Location in the 9th boarders Momontre lots of restraints, bars, pharmacy plus a train $12.00 in the square will take you to Momontre and back it was amazing . Everything was just perfect.
I want to thank Wogmon who went above and beyond was such an assets to this hotel. I will stay again this is the kind of place you want to stay at ;everything was within walking distance and around the clock desk staff if you need. I cannot say enough about this place and the staff! It is a must do!

Convenient location with lots of restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Currently under renovation but still good place to stay.

The hotel was perfect. 5 min walk from Moulen Rouge and metro. Very cozy and clean room. You can also got free coffee and tea upstairs.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Hotel Josephine for their kindness and understanding in waiving the cancellation fees for our booking - due to the unexpected discovery of a WWII bomb at Gare du Nord, our Eurostar journey from London to Paris was completely disrupted, leaving us unable to reach their hotel as planned. The hotel generosity and flexibility during such an unforeseen situation was truly appreciated, and it speaks volumes about the excellent customer service they provide.

Very nice room with small terrace. Located close to Moulin Rouge and many restaurants around. Just 30 minutes walk to the Louvre. Only thing that was not that nice is that the breakfast room was under construction and so we had breakfast outside. But I would stay there again, for sure

This was the fourth or fifth (maybe more, but the pandemic got in the way!) time I've stayed at the Josephine and it did not disappoint at all. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast in the lovely cellar is the perfect way to start the day. The hotel is in a wonderful location as you can pretty much walk everywhere and the area it's in is so interesting and rich in local Parisian flavour. Go and stay at the Josephine - you won't be disappointed!

The hotel itself is old. Also, because it's located in a busy area, the security at night is not so good and I felt scared.
The interior of the room is cute and French chic, but the changing room is quite small and I was dissatisfied with the facilities.
On the other hand, the hotel reception staff was very friendly.

Although the hotel and rooms is small, it has all items you need. The staff are very friendly and the location is great. The hotel wifi can not be connected in the room.
