Hôtel Victoria Châtelet

The location of this hotel is outstanding. It’s mere feet away from an underground train station. We only took trains for our entire stay, so this was incredibly convenient. It was our first time in Paris, so we really enjoyed all of the major tourist attractions. The actual room was incredibly small (think 3’ around 3 sides of the bed, and that’s it), and the toilet and shower/sink were in separate rooms. The room was a little worn, but that was expected for an older hotel. The bed itself was extremely comfortable. We went at the beginning of May, so no AC was a non-issue; in fact we opened the window and listened to the city. We skipped the breakfast based on other reviews, but kind of wished we hadn’t. We ate at the hotel one morning, and it was perfect. They served orange juice, coffee, yogurt, bread, and an assortment of pastries. They had a cafe setting in their basement, and someone brought you your breakfast. The cost was pretty similar to what you’d pay in the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re the kind of traveler that wants to enjoy the room, this hotel is not for you. If you just want a safe, clean, and convenient space to sleep so you can enjoy your vacation, this is the perfect hotel.

Small hotel very conveniently located in the middle of Paris. I think the location is perfect for most tourists, as it is in a few minutes walking walking distance from the Chȧtelet station, the famous Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, Musee du Louvre, and relatively safe. The premises is small and the room is not at all large, but I really liked the mood, such as the spiral staircase, the cute room, the old fashioned room key. I really enjoyed the stay!

The hotel truly stands out for its excellent service and attention to detail, but what made our stay unforgettable was the professionalism and warm personality of Dhanushka. Always smiling and ready to help, Dhanushka added a personal touch that elevated our experience to another level.

When in France stay here. You have the Eiffel tower at your balcony and the Lourve is a hop, skip, and a jump away. Then you hop and skip down to another museum and you hop and skip in that place. Then someone smells you hopping and skipping and they don't like your smell. Welp, good luck after that because you can run but they are going to find you.

A quite hotel if you are traveling for business, in a centre spot, metro next to the hotel, bicycles to hire a minute away. Friendly stuff!!!

Very good position, lovely but nice rooms and nice people at desk

Very clean rooms. There is no AC, but with a fan and open window this is no issue at all. Staff is incredibly friendly, and the location cannot be beat! Exit 15 from the Châtelet metro stop exits right to the hotel.
