Hotel Papillon

We’ve stayed at this hotel in Sept/Oct for the last 2 yrs & love staying here as everyone is so warm & kind. The hotel is perfectly located close to everything with a beautiful pool. Our room is spacious & has the best shower room. As we booked direct with the hotel, we asked, & were given the same room we had the year before, which was so nice to come back to. Staff are friendly throughout the hotel, & always willing to help if needed. If I could change anything at all to make our stay even better, it would be a slightly softer bed, but this is just our personal preference, but it won’t stop us staying again next year.

Overall a lovely, clean hotel with very modern rooms. Breakfast is basic but does the job for a hot day. The pool bar is excellent with tasty food and a good range of cold drinks. The pool is clean with plenty of sunbeds. Reception very helpful with buses and taxis. Slight downside is no pool towels provided - don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel where this is the case so was a bit surprising. Easy to solve if you know in advance.

We had a really nice time here. Everyday a clean room, simple but nice breakfast, a great location next to shops and restaurants and the most important lovely staff :) (they were all so sweet to our daughter too) We hope to return someday!

Didn't stay here on this trip but did visit for the day to use the pool. Best pool in the area. Good food and drinks.

An early check in was prepared for us, as well as cot in the room. Room was lovely, clean, spacious and just had everything you might need.
All the staff were professional and nice. Our daughter was an absolute superstar all week, everyone was nice to us, giving us smiles and small talk. Breakfasts were delicious and a little different every day - which was nice. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, there is a possibility to park here. The main street a few steps, yet it was quiet at night. The rooms are also well soundproofed.
Pool area was nice and clean, restaurant and bar were just great!
We would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday.
And a special thanks to the "breakfast guy", he was just the best! :)

A great family-run hotel right in the centre of Argassi. Very centrally located - but surprisingly little noise from the surrounding traffic and people due to the 'courtyard' style of the hotel. Spotlessly clean, most areas recently refurbished. Breakfat choices were pretty basic, but really good. What really takes it to another level is the staff here - every single member of staff that we encountered was nothing less than excellent. This is how hospitality really ought to be. The young guy who looks after the dining area at breakfast service deserves particular mention - even at the end of a long season of very long days, he was doing a fantastic job with a smile.

Only two very small criticisms. The music being played in the bar area during the day (and especially the TV commentary when a football match was on the screens) was a bit intrusive for those spending time around the pool - if I wanted music instead of peace and quiet I'd have put my headphones on and played my own. Also, the rooms could do with some more storage/hanging space - drawers in the bedrooms, and hanging rails/hooks for clothes and towels in the bathrooms.

Just got back from this lovely hotel, they lost a star only because of the price for air con which I would not have paid for but my son paid behind my back. Hotel was spotless throughout, the cleaning and waiting staff are a credit to the hotel my granddaughter was made a huge fuss of by everyone, not particularly child friendly could have had baby changing facilities in toilets around the pool but it wasn't a massive problem. Breakfast was a bit 'samey' but there was plenty of choice so you can have something different everyday if you want. I stayed in room 418 overlooking the pool which was lovely and quiet despite the proximity of the hotel to a busy street my son and his family were in312 overlooking the gardens and this was quite noisy as it's closer to the street but they didn't mind, we had a lovely week and would recommend it highly

The hotel was lovely. We stayed for a week, and the staff made us feel really welcome. From receptionist to cleaning ladies (btw big thanks to Kristina, always kind and in her best mood) and other personel.
The hotel itself has everything you need, as for the AC- yes, you need to pay it extra but in times like this its completely normal.
The only thing I was missing was some extra room in the closet.. but we made it work☺️
If we ever retun, we are sure coming back to this hotel☺️
