Location: in the village Bocaly on a hill, 1.2 km from the centre of Zakynthos town, 4 km from Zakynthos airport.

Consists of two 2-3 storey buildings.

Only 63 rooms.

Beach: public, sandy Tsilivi beach, 2 km from the hotel (3 coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The beach is 2 km away.

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from and a great tea selection. All areas in the hotel were very clean - the rooms got cleaned daily and the pool area was very nice! Our room was super spacious and cool with an awesome view of the trees surrounding the hotel, which made it very romantic. In my opinion, the hotel is friendly for everyone - young couples, families with children and older people all seemed to be enjoying the tranquility that the hotel provided. I could go on and on, but I believe it'd be better for everyone who has chosen this hotel to go and see for themselves how great it is! We'll definitely return!

The hotel is not next to the beach, but this is not an issue! You can have a transfer from there to any place that you want to visit. People who work there are amazing! Service is great! We used the transfer to go to the beach and the girl who brought us there was lovely! Thank you very much for the great time! The view was breathtaking!Recommend it! ☀️

Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital.
All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel .

Excellent place!

If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect. 30 minutes to the port by foot, or 7-8 mins with a car. Shuttles were available for anywhere on the island. Hotel restaurant is just what you need for a cosy evening - food was great! Can’t wait for the next visit!

A nice hotel. The rooms were neat and well cared for, though the atmosphere felt a bit lacking (with one of the lamps it had a bit of an aquarium vibe, but that was mostly just funny). The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely stunning: lots of choice, tasty and with nice staff.
Recommend if you're going for a good hotel, rather than a cute or lively one.

We stayed here for 11 nights and it was a really good experience, very kind and helpful staff, the breakfast you got every morning was very british based (bacon, baked eggs, sausages) but it was good overall, nice and clean pool (watch out for the hornets tho) good food at the bar, the bartender made some really good cocktails and the stray cats that were around were very cute.
The only things that could be improved are the beds, these were a bid hard and the bed spread did let loose several times a night.
The room where we stayed in had a nice little balcony with a beautiful view.
Overall, I want to come back and definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, with friendly staff, very clean, good parking space, and great breakfast! The hotel is located in a great location with view to a green mountain! The place enforces all the measures against COVID-19 and even more strictly when serving breakfast! Excellent breakfast options with multilingual staff ready to help you at any time! Definitely recommend the place and will book again when visiting the island! Thank you for your hospitality.
