Tempi Hotel in Athens

This is an inexpensive and no-frills place to stay. As long as you have appropriate expectations this place is amazing.
The rooms are small, there are shared bathrooms and showers, but the A/C works well and room service provides clean toiletries and towels everyday.
The highlight of this hotel is the location. This is in the middle of ALL the popular attractions and neighbourhoods commonly recommended in Athens. It is also in the middle of a very lively and bustling part of Monastiraki which gives you plenty of options to explore, socialize, and have fun. It's also near 2 major train stations.
The staff are also VERY kind and warm-hearted, and were very helpful in arranging a taxi for me to the airport.

One note however, there is only a lift for luggage, not for people. You will need to go up & down flights of stairs to get to your room. I was on the 5th floor, and it was a mini workout each time, but seeing how much food I ate, I needed it.

Great little hotel right in the centre of monasteraki area, basic, cheap, shared bathroom and shower, but brilliant for less than 30 euros a night

Conveniently located in the heart of Athens, Tempi Hotel is within walking distance to all the major attractions and eateries here. While the room is small, the staff are friendly and they even have a rooftop space that you can chill out at the end of the day after a day of exploration in Athens.

For the price we paid, I couldn't have done any better. We were walking distance from all major attractions. Great bars and restaurants right on our doorstep, nevermind the amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooms with balconies. Its also walking distance from the metro, so easy coming from, and going to the airport. I would 100% book here again.
The wifi was not great, and there was no mini fridge in the room. There is a luggage lift, but you can only access the room by stairs - this is fine if you're young and fit. This place is so great otherwise. That was the only negatives.

Centre of monastiriki, still have people at night so not unsafe. Basic room with very slight Urine smell, but I put pure natural essential oil on the bed so is ok. I'm just happy there are no bedbugs. Easy to find, Grab driver drove us up the pavement skilfully.

It's a pity that I didn't take photos of the hotel. It's right on Ladies' Street. It's very convenient for shopping. There are bars all below. It's very close to Constitution Square. It depends on what you are going to Athens for. If it's purely for tourism and vacation, this is the best location. It's economical and safe. The people on duty at the door should be local Greeks. I don't speak English, so I use a translator to communicate. It's very good. It's very convenient to live here. You can take a bus next to Constitution Square to the airport, which goes directly to the airport for 5€. There is no so-called unsafety, but you have to keep your bags and valuables when you go out. I made an online reservation at 10:30 am. I arrived at 10:15. He also asked you to wait on the first floor for 15 minutes before going up!

The location is good, and they will store your luggage for free even if you are staying overnight. However, the stairs to the top floor (6th floor) were quite strenuous.
