The hotel is ok for a night or two. It's not the cleanest I've ever been and the rooms are in need of general repairs, but it's cheap and situated in the heart of the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. To those who complained about weird people in the streets: Yes, they're there. As in every big metropolis. They mind their own business - mind yours and there's no problem.

We stayed here two nights. The location is great next to the bus stop and also walkable to many restaurants and attractions. 24 hour reception was a huge plus. Breakfast was included but we didn’t get a chance to have it because it only runs from 8- 10am and we were out every day before then

There are bedbugs in the hotel. We were a group and most of them were bitten which came out after 1-2 days. We had all stayed for over a week in another place before and there were no problems. We stayed in the Hotel on Diros for one night and the next day there were already bite marks. Scandal.

Diros Hotel, located in a central but slightly unsafe area, offers an acceptable stay experience, though with some notable drawbacks. The hotel's structure appears somewhat rundown and poorly maintained, leaving much to be desired in terms of overall cleanliness.
The rooms, while seemingly clean, are nothing exceptional and reflect what one would expect from a three-star hotel. A critical point is the lack of daily bed linen changes, which could negatively impact guest comfort during longer stays.
We stayed for two days, and overall, the experience was okay. However, we strongly recommend exercising caution when moving around the hotel area, especially in the evening, due to the perceived danger of the location.
In summary, Diros Hotel is an acceptable option for short stays but has significant room for improvement.

The Diros hotel was just slightly out of the center but this didn’t feel bothersome - 30mins from Diros hotel to Plaka. It just means you get to get your steps in!
The room was as described (although we didn’t have any kind of view). Air conditioning was functioning which was crucial in this hot weather! The hosts were very helpful and nice!
The bathroom was a a little small, and the shower head didn’t hook onto the wall so we could only have a handheld shower. The water did get really cold though which was great!
The final thing to say is that the walls are super thin so you can hear people coughing who are in the room next to you!
Overall, it’s good value for money, clean, and well located!

I will give 5 stars for location. It is located at the heart of the city, near all kinds of transportation. All places can even be reached by walking. There are many shops and coffee shops around. Rooms are small but cozy with a nice balcony. Room service is available, but just inform the reception in the morning. Breakfast is simple but nice. Very friendly staff.

I understand that in a budget hotel, the bathroom is terrible, when you take a shower, everything floats, the balcony door doesn't close, the towels don't understand what they smell like. Breakfast is bad. I do not recommend staying there.

The hotel is situated in a vantage position. Easy to access buses and hail taxis.
About 3 minutes walk to Omonia Park and Hondoras centre.
In front of the mall, you can buy a ticket with one of the hop-on hop-off buses for the city tour at €20/ 24 hours.
Diros Hotel staff members were nice and ready to assist me with all I needed. They speak good English too, which shows how much they are professional
