Exceptional hotel! My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was remarkable - a picturesque showing of Acropolis, which was gorgeous at sunset and lit up at night. The Club was perfect for lounging and working. The staff was kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and if I'm ever in Athens again, I'll definitely stay again.
Our stay at the InterContinental was absolutely lovely. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed the staff who greeted us at the door were so friendly, and the bell captain was especially helpful and personable. The view from our room was beautiful and waking up to that scenery each morning was a real delight. The location is also fantastic just a short cab ride or an easy train ride (with...
Very good hotel. We had a nice stay! Good location . Friendly and helpful staff!
Overall a good short stay for my wife and I. Easy to find and get to. Near the main tourist stuff, bus stop right next to it to leave the hotel, as well as a taxis on demand. Staff was very nice and plenty of people to help. They also held our luggage with no issues. Breakfast was a 10/10. Large selection of fresh foods that left us very satisfied to start the day. The room was large and comfortable...
Breakfast is good, services in general is good. Just the room assigned was pretty far away from the lift, very long walking everyday. Room is spacious.
The room was very spacious. Breakfast was really nice and there are lots of options to choose. The staff were really polite. Lobby was spacious and the bar area was also good. The beds were comfortable and large enough. Everything was great.

Hotel was very good and location of the hotel too! There was small problem that I come early in the morning at 4:30 am . Wanted to pay for early check in . But they told me it’s too early to do that and I should wait!till 9 am 🙄 later on they helped me with early check in. But it put minus for such good hotel
It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!
Best hotel I have ever been!!!!! Location, facility, lobby, service, breakfast!!! The best.!!!! I jus told them is my birthday and they added a cute nice cake!
door/wall/floor is not soundproof,we can even hear the men talking in the corridor ,and the sound of dragging a chair upstairs. The water pressure is way to low when I was taking shower.
The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule. She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack. The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing...
We arrived after our early morning flight and the bellman were very polite and took our baggage straight to storage but the front desk was quite rude to us about how early we arrived - I didn’t ask to check in and didn’t expect to, so there was no need to be rude. We only had 1 day in Athens so being well located to the main sites was important. This hotel was walkable to everything including the...

One of the best Hiltons I’ve stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a diamond member we were upgraded to an acropolis view. They provided complimentary bottled water throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing in the hotel restaurant and the drinks and view from the Galaxy bar are worth a visit. A great value for Award nights. I’d recommend anyone coming to Athens stay at this hotel.
Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after. It's not the cheapest place but the higher prices are justified
A fantastic hotel with the best views. The food in the rooftop restaurant was absolutely devine and the breakfasts were cooked to perfection. In the room itself, everything was easy to use and the pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had. I would definitely recommend and look forward to being able to return.
Really really great experience, from check-in to departure. Felt extremely valued as a Diamond member - front desk staff upgraded our room without even asking. Front desk staff was polite and professional and gracious. Room was fantastic - get the Acropolis view!!! Several restaurants behind the hotel within a 5 min walk. Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally...
my husband and I stayed at this hotel during our first trip to Greece and we had a very enjoyable stay! situated in a safe area between two metro stations, it was very convenient for getting around, although I quickly wished we'd stayed closer to Monastiraki Square as that's where we spent the most time. that said, this hotel was nice, if not a bit outdated. the breakfast was delicious and the rooftop...
When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there. He is a great guy and pointed us in the direction of where to go and what to see.

The hotel is in good condition in all aspects. I will continue to choose this hotel next time.
I made a reservation because I was on a business trip and there were no hotels with twin beds, but it was better than I thought and easy to find.
The hotel is very close to the Acropolis. You can see the night view of the Acropolis from the balcony at night. Highly recommended.
Old hotel but in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the Acropolis. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel overlooks the Acropolis, perfect for dinner. Afternoon tea by the swimming pool is quiet and comfortable, also a must.
I stayed for 7 days and it was pretty good. It's very close to the Acropolis and very convenient. There are some big stones of Athens' ancient monuments in the dining area on the underground first floor of the hotel. The breakfast is very good. The hotel has a recommended parking lot. If you can find a parking space on the surrounding streets, it is free, but it is difficult to find
The front desk service is proactive, warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is very good. The recommended rooftop garden restaurant and bar, with a stunning view of the Acropolis from afar. The hotel is in a good location, a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis Museum. Free chocolate and lemon water sauna in the lobby. Free sauna also has dried prunes and apricots. Great breakfast

Great hotel! Great location, coffee food and cocktails! Room was always cleaned, breakfast is okay! Only thing is the pool is always so busy, very hard to get a seat at times. But would stay again regardless :)
Staff was friendly and on the ball, quick service with a smile. Setting is stunning on the rooftop pool deck, and about an 8 minute walk to Monastaraki square with good things to see along the way. Thank you for a great stay!
Stayed for 3 nights after a NCL cruise. Perfect hotel. Staff are brilliant. Room was clean, comfortable and had complimentary cold beers, waters, red wine and coffee machine waiting. Staff speak good English and are always helpful, cheerful and friendly. Thanks to the Hotel team for a nice welcome, great drinks (cocktails are super) , top quality food, and perfect service. Lifts are very slow though
We stayed a week at the Stanley and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooftop pool is spectacular and the views are amazing. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is centrally located with several good restaurants nearby. Best of all, the staff is very helpful and will arrange for cars, tours, etc.
We stayed 2 nights following our cruise. What a fabulous hotel! The location is great, the metro is just around the corner, 4 stops for the Acropolis, 3 stops for the parliament with changing of the guard and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by. We stayed at The Stanley for 3 nights. Each day we enjoyed views and drinks alike in the incredible rooftop bar; with views of lycabettus and the acropolis in sight. The pool was inviting. Really liked the rooftop bar/restraurant with view of acropolis. Was also allowed access to room early & upgraded to premium room so really pleased with this hotel.
Conveniently located close to 2 metro stations, nice room, friendly service, good breakfast, several good options for lunch/dinner in walking distance.
In the morning a lot of noise wake you up from 7.30. The cleaning Pakistani guys room was next to our rooms…
I have led multiple groups overseas. This is a fantastic hotel. Centrally located. Excellent food rooms are clean and very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant and bar has an unbelievable view of the Acropolis. Highly recommend.
Even though the hotel is an older one, service was excellent - the staff was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were excellent and the rooftop view was a fabulous one. The elevators are busy in the morning as can be the breakfast bar at around 8 so get to there early!
The breakfast was very good and plentiful with lot of choices for kind of guests. The Food was fresh and tasty. The Front desk were very good and polite and attentive with all the guests. The location is average, the transportation is not convenient. The service is OK, but the rooms near the street are very noisy, the sound insulation is relatively poor, and there are all kinds of car and motorcycle noises downstairs in the middle of the night.
The breakfast was good. It was the only hotel I had seen that had hot soup for breakfast. The cleaning was also timely. The attitude of the front desk staff was average. The attitude of the staff I met when I checked out was particularly bad. They actually charged us for the mineral water that the staff brought to the room every day and put in the refrigerator. We stayed for six nights and spent 3...
I stayed at the Marriott a few days before arriving in Greece. The advantage is that there is a shuttle bus to Constitution Square, but the location is relatively far from the Acropolis. It was the first time I encountered a situation where bottled water in the room was only delivered in limited quantities...
The real experience is pretty good in all aspects. This price is still comparable in Athens, but if you don't have a car, it's still not very convenient to travel
The room is spacious and has a good view. The breakfast is rich and the lobby bar is suitable for business exchanges and small meetings. I saw a lot of business activities during my stay. It is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel to the harbor and the civic activity center.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the 4-Star Claim I stayed at Xenophon Hotel in Athens and was quite disappointed.
