We stayed at the Polis Grand a few times during our trip in Greece. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I wanted to call special attention to Costas! He was there almost every time we were in the lobby, and he made a point to remember us and greet us with familiarity, making the check in / check out process feel a lot smoother! I really appreciated him!!

I stayed there for nights with my Wife and Daughter, The Staff were so very nice. The Breakfast was buffet was amazing, every morning, so very much to choose from, it was amazing. A very nice four to five star hotel in downtown Athens. Our stay there was superb with rooftop dining and a marvelous view of the city. Highly recommend the mojitos!

We stayed at this hotel twice. The first time our room was very small with two beds together instead of one big bed. The second room was much bigger with one bed, but no balcony like the first one had. The rooftop bar has a decent view of the Acropolis, but it's nothing like the pictures online.

My wife and I have just returned from Greece and stayed at this magnificent hotel on the first few nights and again on the last night. We could not have been happier! The rooms were clean and spacious with large comfortable beds, bathrooms were spotless and had thick towels, nice slippers and robes to enjoy. A nice hotel with excellent service. The location is close to everything you would want to see in Athens! Rooms were pretty clean but they are a little dated. The breakfast had a good selection of items from bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit and pastries. The only comment on the breakfast would be the coffee and cappuccinos didn't taste great. Overall a nice hotel if you're visiting Athens!

The rooms are large! Rooms are clean! The staff is very accommodating. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet. There is a bar open in the evening on the mezzanine level. There is a restaurant in the lobby. Probably the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The bedroom doors are very thin and you can hear housekeepings every move knock and bang, even the noise of plastic bags rustling. I’m sure another room or floor may have been different but even 6 floors up no peace! I leave my room impeccable and do not use all the towels and clutter available, so how about some mutual respect in the morning, smashing...

We actually checked in on the day after we were supposed to. My travel agents fault. No problem, they moved the day of check in and off we went. Took all of 5 minutes to correct and we were given a beautiful room with a view of the Acropolis. Rarely will you stay at such a clean, friendly and generous place. And even the bed was incredible. It can’t get any better than this. The view alone is worth staying here. Add to that elegant rooms and common areas, attentive staff and delicious food and you have the perfect mix. It is close to everything. Rooms are immaculate. The gym is small but, from what I can see, the hotel doesn’t target that clientele so it’s ok .. I would definitely recommend and come back here!

Loved this hotel. Very convenient for walks to the city centre and historical sites in Athens. The sky lounge is very popular for an afternoon swim and sun. It becomes magical at night for a romantic dinner with a view of the Acropolis.

Great hotel with very helpful receptionists. Arrived late midnight but being warmly greeted by Alex the receptionist, it makes me feel at home after a busy travel day. Great place to go for a late night after drink. After having dinner downtown, we decided to walk up to the rooftop bar and check it out. The view was so awesome. We decided to stay for a nightcap. My wife had the port and I had the Blantons old-fashioned. Beautiful evening nice breeze great company. Highly recommend if you have a chance to go by.

All about the location really, great for a night stop before flying home if you’ve been to the islands. Recommend a meal out in Plaka. Taxi back to the airport is a lot quicker from here than anywhere else in Athens. Rooms are what you’d expect in a city centre hotel. It is a hotel that does not have many advantages except that it is centrally located and has transportation advantages. The breakfast is not bad, at least there are a few varieties. The rooms are a bit old and need to be renovated, but the cleanliness is sufficient. It is suitable for one or two day stays.
