Stayed 2 nights here, in general speaking it's good. If the staffs are more proactive to help with luggage would be the best. Room is a bit old style but bigger enough. And u can see the acropolis through room windows

All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old

The service was excellent, the staff very professional and courteous, and the event space on the 6th floor — with its terrace overlooking the Acropolis — was truly stunning

Service is definitely best in class I must say! Special shoutout to Elleni, Eleftheria and Agni from the Club Lounge, thank you for being so personal and endearing to remember my requests

I recently attended a corporate event at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens by IHG. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but the hotel itself made a strong impression

It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!

What made a big difference was the staff of the hotel. Very helpful and really polite at all times. They helped me a lot with a lot of tips about the local area and what the best choices were for me

Hotel was very good and location of the hotel too! There was small problem that I come early in the morning at 4:30 am. Wanted to pay for early check in

But they told me it’s too early to do that and I should wait!till 9 am 🙄 later on they helped me with early check in. But it put minus for such good hotel

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

One of the highlights was the free breakfast offered every morning. It was incredibly diverse, with many delicious choices to suit any preference, making it a great way to start the day

Only downside is the size of the washroom rest everything else was perfect. The breakfast spread on the 9th floor is too good

The lamps above the bed are badly placed. You can’t sit up or lean properly in bed because you’ll hit your head on the lamp. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was really good

Stayed in one of the suites for 6 nights. Room and hotel are lovely and not a bad location if you’re happy walking/using public transport to get to some busier areas. Unfortunately not the best experience with the staff

The lobby staff were amazing, room service was good as well, and I also tried the massage service, which was very professional and enjoyable

Again a lengthy phone call to house keeping to be told to wait and when I pushed for an answer they made a quick call and said they checked and nothing was there!? A shame as a lovely room with a lovely rooftop/restaurant but all my requests were met with the feeling that they couldn’t be bothered to help in anyway and also feel our possessions were just discarded

After standing for an eternity whilst reception called the reservations team I was told that the only room available was our suite at over double what I paid a night and they had a strict policy where I would have to pay for 2 extra nights instead of the one I requested

Conveniently located close to 2 metro stations, nice room, friendly service, good breakfast, several good options for lunch/dinner in walking distance.

My room had a view to a drain pipe and dark but the room was clean. Overall, If you travel alone know the area is dodgy at night, but if you're in a group or with family then I recommend

Even though the hotel is an older one, service was excellent - the staff was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were excellent and the rooftop view was a fabulous one

The prime location was why I chose this hotel and also the mostly positive reviews. It's a 15-20 minute walking distance from all the important sites, ancient or modern

Additionally, non-members were frequently accessing the lounge, which caused issues for the staff during my stay. Overall, a very good stay with room for some improvements in the lounge experience

Beautiful & convenient to Athens Airport. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed all the Amenities and the food was Excellent!! Would stay there again!!

The rooms were comfortable, stylish, spacious and immaculate; the lobby bar was perfect for a beverage and snack; the spa and pool area are beautiful; and the rooftop restaurant had a choice of a more casual outdoor dining area or elegant indoor seating

Overall, it was a memorable experience. Note that the hotel is steps away from the airport and nearby metro stop (which can take you to the Port of Piraeus or various points in Athens)

I noticed while dining that there were local Greeks meeting there to dine and thought this to be extraordinary for an airport hotel. Absolutely a 5 Star experience overall

Had a fantastic stay at Sofitel Athens airport. The staff were super easy to deal with, the hotel is beautiful, and the food was great with really generous portions

Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay

We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious

It was very nice, as expected of a first-class hotel with a long history. It's located in Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, so it was convenient to go anywhere.

I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake

We stayed 4 nights and our room was very comfortable. Check-in is efficient and we were able to store luggage as we had arrived very early. Location is perfect for accessing tours, shopping, restaurants

The rooftop restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is two buildings and it takes a couple trips to orient to the elevators and stairs

The bar, lobby lounge area and pool were lovely. They have quite a few groups come through and conferences, but it was never inconvenient

I stayed for 7 days and it was pretty good. It's very close to the Acropolis and very convenient. There are some big stones of Athens' ancient monuments in the dining area on the underground first floor of the hotel

The hotel is in a good location, a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis Museum. Free chocolate and lemon water sauna in the lobby. Free sauna also has dried prunes and apricots

Very good! The service is also great! It is very convenient to travel, right next to Constitution Square, a few steps away from the old street, and there are many shopping malls and restaurants! Awesome!

The room was slightly outdated in terms of decor, but it still offers a comfortable stay. Room service was excellent with great selection and prompt delivery

We had a solid stay at the NJV Athens Plaza Hotel. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Athens, just steps from Parliament and Syntagma Square

Overall, a solid choice if you value service and location over modern finishes

We recently had a great stay at the King George. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The front desk helped us find some excellent restaurants and even went so far as to get us reservations

Excellent location - easy walk or short taxi/uber to several Athen's shopping districts and most of the key ancient ruins - the Acropolis, etc. Excellent Food - The 7th floor buffet breakfast is best in class

Fresh squeezed juice, excellent coffee, and the best place to watch the sunrise in Athens - it comes up right beside the Acropolis (see one of the photos from their website - it's just like that)

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff, well appointed rooms. Well equipped gym and a Michelin star restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which looked out into the main square

The rooms are nice, well laid out and with the necessary amenities (nice to have an iron and ironing board available). One thing to note is that our room had a tub with a shower wand that is connected to the wall

We had spent a couple of weeks in France, and had got used to overpaying for dingy little hotel rooms, especially in Paris and Lyon. The Melia is not a budget hotel, but it's good value

Maria the concierge was super helpful, and arranged a very good rental car for us, delivered to the hotel

The district of Omonia that the hotel is in is a bit grungy, but the reality is that Athens is a very grungy city, and if it wasn't for its history and attractions like the Acropolis and National Museum, no one would go there

The rooms and other facilities are very nice. Danae at check-in was very pleasant and helpful, and started our visit to Greece on a positive note. We were tired and ended up having dinner at the rooftop restaurant
