The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

One of the best hotels in the center of Athens. Really helpful reception desk, the room was clean and tidy with a lot of extras. Really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule

The hotel room was exceptional , pool was great and overall location was very central to main centre square in Athens

One thing that bothered me about the room and service though was that while we were out to dinner the cleaning staff came in and made our beds and left waters on our pillows. We thought that was such a nice gesture

Location is perfect! The metro is right outside the hotel, which is very accessible! 4 stops to the acropolis, what more could you want?! Also top tip, there's a cafe just on the corner of the hotel which is actually part of the Stanley, it's the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat!

We stayed at the Stanley at the beginning of our trip to Greece and again at the end when we were back in Athens. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were always friendly and accommodating

The room was a really decent size for a European city hotel! The bathroom was fine, some room for improvement in that area but perfectly adequate! The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was also very good! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was absolutely superb. We also did dinner each night at the sweet basil/cloud 9. It was delicious and the staff were some of the best

One would expect a more luxury feeling for this price point in terms of being modern and larger. The front lobby feels dated as well. Seems they have spent all their money on the rooftop

The free breakfast on the rooftop is also very good. Very good selection of food and the views are amazing. The rooms themselves are dated and the bathrooms are so extremely small

The elevators are busy in the morning as can be the breakfast bar at around 8 so get to there early!

Reasonably good hotel overall despite some old outlooks and slowness — your elevator in the peak morning hours can easily take 5 minutes to come

It would’ve been lovely if the room keeping service included the water refill, especially when we stayed for four consecutive nights

The staffs are helpful and friendly and the breakfast area is simply fantastic. The location is pretty awesome

I had drinks at the bar during the day and enjoyed the rooftop patio views but when I returned later that evening to get some nighttime photos, I was informed that I was not able to access the patio unless I purchased food or drink despite being a paying hotel guest

We were told that it is upsetting to those dining at the restaurant for non-diners to enjoy the rooftop. After requesting to speak to management, it was explained that this is their new policy

The hotel also includes a complimentary breakfast buffet, with many delicious options (including some local Greek specialities). Due to the short length of our stay, we did not use any of the other hotel’s amenities

The hotel welcomed us with a bottle of champagne as well as a chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a very nice touch

We loved our night at the Athens Capital Center Hotel. It was a short taxi to the main areas and walkable if you like (we walked!). The rooftop pool had a great view of the city and Acropolis

The room was very clean, new, and comfortable. I’d recommend this for any length of stay in Athens. The entire staff at the hotel made our stay comfortable. If we are back in Athens we will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and comfortable. It was huge and a very nice room. The breakfast was part of the room and delicious. The view is good but not as amazing as the hotel photos

The area is decent but I wasn't impressed with most of Athens

Worse, there’s no free water in the room, and they charged us €4 for a small bottle! The management’s approach feels outdated, focusing on appearances like views and luxury beds, but missing what truly matters to modern guests: a great overall experience

Overall we loved our stay here- the hotel is in a perfect location for being close to restaurants/shops as well at the Acropolis. The hotel is gorgeous and well kept, but the rooms literally have ONE single outlet

The room is a bit outdated, particularly when it comes to charging devices. Royal Olympic Hotel is right in the city centre which is very convenient. Right across you can see the Acropolis which is definitely a nice view

Tip: pay the extra for a balcony room with a view of the Acropolis. You will also be able to see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony from your balcony as well-done hourly 24 hrs a day

Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay

Perfect location, to all attractions. Lots of taxi choices or 2 stops on metro. Can get a 5 day metro card for 8 euros. Food perfect and hotel really clean and perfect decoration for a city break

There’s massage service and gym and restaurant with beautiful food. But above all the staff is beyond friendly and helpful,down to the last cleaning lady

If there was one negative- we stayed when it was extremely hot. Only 4/5 umbrella available which meant a lot of sunbeds/ seats in direct sun

So it was a race in the mornings to get a sun bed which would be in the shade

The bell staff was always willing to go out of their way to help. The breakfast was more than anyone could eat, and an extravagant display of so many items! Our rooms had balcony's and a great view of the city landscape

Went for a conference, place was roomy and well organized, although a bit chilly. Food was also more than decent. Overall quiet and in a central location.

Everything is super, except for the area :-( ghetto but if you just spend the night, and all the while you're in town and you bring it in, then OK, if not, choose another place, especially if you want to walk in the center, and you and the kids

Our housekeepers, Carina (I believe that's how it's spelled) and Eleni were phenomenal and very kind! Anastasia was wonderful as well! We stayed in total 4 nights, helpful staff and great rooms, we spent most of our time visiting the attractions so we spent most of our time outside our rooms however at the end of the day it got the job done

I stayed there with my boyfriend three days to quickly visit Athens before my next stop. I have to say the hotel is located in the city center near the central square and it’s pretty close to the city’s main attractions

This was my third stay at this hotel, although the start was a bit bumpy as the very nice jacuzzis at the rooftop were not activated at check-in, the manager immediately tried to find a solution and a short time later the jacuzzis were usable

As a compensation, because the jacuzzi was not yet active the day before, I was able to use it until the afternoon on the day of check-out, which was very friendly and attentive

The General Manager kept asking how I was and if everything was OK, which is not a given in a larger hotel and in a chain. I would be happy to come back a fourth time

I really would like the reception staff, the breakfast staff and the rooftop staff to be congratulated for their professionalism. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are massive

The only negative is the bed which is two small beds pushed together like in most hotels in Europe. I am a big guy so I would always end up in between the two beds :-( The breakfast was really good and varied

Perfection! Gorgeous boutique hotel three minutes from Parliament or the Plaka by foot. Delicious included breakfast and great lunch and bar food menu. The lovely roof garden is a hidden gem

The only downside is the noise from the very popular bar if you are in the front on the first floor, and our family (son, daughter in law, and adult grandson) said it hardly disturbed them
