It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!

What made a big difference was the staff of the hotel. Very helpful and really polite at all times. They helped me a lot with a lot of tips about the local area and what the best choices were for me

Hotel was very good and location of the hotel too! There was small problem that I come early in the morning at 4:30 am. Wanted to pay for early check in

The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack

My room had a view to a drain pipe and dark but the room was clean. Overall, If you travel alone know the area is dodgy at night, but if you're in a group or with family then I recommend

Even though the hotel is an older one, service was excellent - the staff was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were excellent and the rooftop view was a fabulous one

Stayed for 3 nights after a NCL cruise. Room was clean, comfortable and had complimentary cold beers, waters, red wine and coffee machine waiting. Staff speak good English and are always helpful, cheerful and friendly

Good hotel not to far from the city center. Unfortunately the sounproofing of the rooms is not great, you can hear noises especially from the corridors

Staff was friendly and on the ball, quick service with a smile. Setting is stunning on the rooftop pool deck, and about an 8 minute walk to Monastaraki square with good things to see along the way

Travel agent recommended this hotel, has a pool and breakfast at rooftop that can see Acropolis. It's a bit far from the historical centre which was hard to walk to in the heat of summer

We spent 3 nights in Athens at the Wyndham. Reception was friendly, the hotel is clean with an excellent view of the Parthenon on the rooftop. The service at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was so delicious

It was very nice, as expected of a first-class hotel with a long history. It's located in Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, so it was convenient to go anywhere.

We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious

A luxurious hotel, amazing hospitality and service from the reception staff who received and listened to requests for a room change, professional and friendly service at the wonderful and high-quality breakfast, the lobby restaurant staff is professional and helpful

Because it is an old hotel, the facilities are not the most advanced, but they are sufficient. The breakfast is a buffet, not very rich, but it is OK. The breakfast room is on the rooftop, and you can see the Acropolis

I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake

I stayed for 7 days and it was pretty good. It's very close to the Acropolis and very convenient. There are some big stones of Athens' ancient monuments in the dining area on the underground first floor of the hotel

The front desk service is proactive, warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is very good. The recommended rooftop garden restaurant and bar, with a stunning view of the Acropolis from afar

The hotel is in a good location, a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis Museum. Free chocolate and lemon water sauna in the lobby. Free sauna also has dried prunes and apricots

The hotel has a recommended parking lot. If you can find a parking space on the surrounding streets, it is free, but it is difficult to find

Old hotel but in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the Acropolis. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel overlooks the Acropolis, perfect for dinner

It has a very nice location and scenery! It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the Acropolis and other attractions in the market center. It is very convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation

The quality of breakfast is a little bit worse, and the dinner is expensive but the taste is average. However, compared with the surrounding hotels, the overall rating of this hotel is still very cost-effective

Some employees have a very good service attitude, and I gave them a lot of tips. I would like to stay here next time I come to Athens

Electra Metropolis in Athens is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable central location. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant offers stunning views of the Acropolis

Rooms are beautiful Greece style. The staff is very kind and welcoming! They provided us with an electric socket attachment so my dad could use his ByPAP machine

Be aware that this hotel does not have a pool. This hotel was picked as part of our tour. Overall this hotel is a good choice

Stayed twice since we were going to a conference in meteora. They kept one of our bags so that’s a plus. So when we returned for 3 nights, I felt that the front desk was a bit dismissive the 2nd time

While the location in Athens is excellent, the lack of proper elite recognition and limited common areas make this hotel hard to recommend, especially for fellow Marriott elite members who expect certain standards and benefits to be honored

It's little things, like telling you that you can use the pool at the hotel next to them but not clarifying that it's not the rooftop pool (the good one) and only the spa pool (floor -1), or the fact that I can't even get cocktails from the bar and bring it up to our room while we get ready

Unfortunately, we realized during the night that the new room we received was very noisy with the motor or the elevators not letting us sleep. We did not have the force ro change again

We stayed for one night in September and we received a interconnecting room that we asked to change to avoid noise of connected room. We were very tired and needed to rest

Impressive! Our room was small but that's because we chose a small room, so I recommend upgrading to a larger room/suite if you have 3 or more guests (don't settle on the basic room)

Steve the concierge has the best energy, and offers sparkling wine whenever he sees you. Location is great, a walk to all the tourist and historical spots, and just far enough away to avoid the hussle

Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some

This was my third stay at this hotel, although the start was a bit bumpy as the very nice jacuzzis at the rooftop were not activated at check-in, the manager immediately tried to find a solution and a short time later the jacuzzis were usable

Very small bathroom, inconvenient shower; you cannot close the door to the shower room properly, as there is no lighting in it and because of this it is very inconvenient to take a shower. There was dust on the jacuzzi

Our favorite was a gelato place (patisserie) where the pistachio gelato was my favorite. Breakfast was really good with small portions of great food. The egg menu was amazing and delicious

Great location, it is a short walk to the metro, most attractions / shops / restaurants that you want to go to are within walking distance. Gym is small but i don’t assume anyone is in Athens for the gym

I saw a comment here about the AC temperature - in my case, it was working perfectly fine and was able to set the temperature without restrictions. Internet speed and connection was great

The view of Acropolis from the roof top bar is great and i am surprised not as many people are aware - definitely enjoy the night view from there

After having stayed there for 6 nights, I can leave this review and say that this hotel deserves 5 stars! The staff were accommodating and friendly from beginning to end, helping me and my family navigate the city and even offering us complimentary to-go breakfast on our last day because out flight left earlier than the breakfast time

My daughter and I went over a year ago and I still remember it as part of the best part of our trip. We stayed at the hotel for one night before our cruise

Rooms provided robes, slippers, toiletries, safe, hair dryer and a stocked mini bar and snacks for extra cost. Which was nice for a late night snack. We loved the breakfast that was included in the stay

I made the wrong Month, and then wrote to both the hotel and the reservation service, but they didn’t help me, they didn’t return the money, and I paid twice! The hotel itself is average, but considering the price-quality ratio in its range

Luxurious bed and sheets, beautiful finishings in the rooms, decor was on point. The front desk service is lovely. They even packed my a breakfast box to go as I had to leave early in the morning

The bottled water in the refrigerator seems to be charged, but I didn't drink it anyway. The advantage is that the breakfast is very rich. One meal is enough for half a day
