The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

One of the best hotels in the center of Athens. Really helpful reception desk, the room was clean and tidy with a lot of extras. Really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule

The hotel room was exceptional , pool was great and overall location was very central to main centre square in Athens

One thing that bothered me about the room and service though was that while we were out to dinner the cleaning staff came in and made our beds and left waters on our pillows. We thought that was such a nice gesture

The elevators are busy in the morning as can be the breakfast bar at around 8 so get to there early!

Reasonably good hotel overall despite some old outlooks and slowness — your elevator in the peak morning hours can easily take 5 minutes to come

It would’ve been lovely if the room keeping service included the water refill, especially when we stayed for four consecutive nights

The staffs are helpful and friendly and the breakfast area is simply fantastic. The location is pretty awesome

I had drinks at the bar during the day and enjoyed the rooftop patio views but when I returned later that evening to get some nighttime photos, I was informed that I was not able to access the patio unless I purchased food or drink despite being a paying hotel guest

We were told that it is upsetting to those dining at the restaurant for non-diners to enjoy the rooftop. After requesting to speak to management, it was explained that this is their new policy

Location is perfect! The metro is right outside the hotel, which is very accessible! 4 stops to the acropolis, what more could you want?! Also top tip, there's a cafe just on the corner of the hotel which is actually part of the Stanley, it's the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat!

We stayed at the Stanley at the beginning of our trip to Greece and again at the end when we were back in Athens. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were always friendly and accommodating

The room was a really decent size for a European city hotel! The bathroom was fine, some room for improvement in that area but perfectly adequate! The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was also very good! The rooftop is the star of the show, we ate at the restaurant twice during our week in Athens, the food there was exquisite and the view is sensational! Also...

One would expect a more luxury feeling for this price point in terms of being modern and larger. The front lobby feels dated as well. Seems they have spent all their money on the rooftop

The free breakfast on the rooftop is also very good. Very good selection of food and the views are amazing. The rooms themselves are dated and the bathrooms are so extremely small

Electra Metropolis in Athens is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable central location. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant offers stunning views of the Acropolis

The hotel also includes a complimentary breakfast buffet, with many delicious options (including some local Greek specialities). Due to the short length of our stay, we did not use any of the other hotel’s amenities

The hotel welcomed us with a bottle of champagne as well as a chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a very nice touch

Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Athens based on its beauty, location, and service

Didn't try the room service but I would assume it is of same heigh standard as the restaurants. If you prefer you can eat and drink in on of the many local bars and restaurants located nearby the hotel

I stayed there for nights with my Wife and Daughter, The Staff were so very nice. The Breakfast was buffet was amazing, every morning, so very much to choose from, it was amazing

A very nice four to five star hotel in downtown Athens. Our stay there was superb with rooftop dining and a marvelous view of the city. Highly recommend the mojitos!

We stayed at the Polis Grand a few times during our trip in Greece

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I wanted to call special attention to Costas! He was there almost every time we were in the lobby, and he made a point to remember us and greet us with familiarity, making the check in / check out process feel a lot smoother! I really appreciated him!!

Upon check in I was greeted by Dora who made me feel comfortable and welcome from the start. We asked her for dinner location suggestions and she offered many outstanding choices

I enjoyed standing on them and watching the changing of the guards! And finally on the last day Manio was so kind with our checkout. Sad to leave, but with fond memories of an enjoyable stay!

We could not have been happier! The rooms were clean and spacious with large comfortable beds, bathrooms were spotless and had thick towels, nice slippers and robes to enjoy

My wife and I have just returned from Greece and stayed at this magnificent hotel on the first few nights and again on the last night

Tip: pay the extra for a balcony room with a view of the Acropolis. You will also be able to see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony from your balcony as well-done hourly 24 hrs a day

Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay

Very convenient for walks to the city centre and historical sites in Athens. The sky lounge is very popular for an afternoon swim and sun. It becomes magical at night for a romantic dinner with a view of the Acropolis

Great hotel with helpful, happy staff. Stayed for few days and breakfast choice and variety was great. Didn't get a chance to use the pool due to weather and sightseeing but gym was nice and used it once

Also, Theo must have been tired of dealing with weary travelers as he wasn't very pleasant. The positives - rooms are extremely nice with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower with body sprays. Rooms were clean and nicely prepared

Location: While the hotel is slightly removed from the city’s main attractions, it's only a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute metro ride to the lively parts of town. The Omonia metro station is conveniently close by

Maybe a free breakfast or cup of coffee/tea? I appreciate that the rooms need cleaned, but I'm sure there were some people that left early. An early arrival room for weary travelers would be appreciated

The bathroom was also quite large, though the hydro-massage shower felt outdated and a bit tricky to navigate as it’s quite high to climb. However, the cleanliness was excellent throughout

I stayed there with my boyfriend three days to quickly visit Athens before my next stop. I have to say the hotel is located in the city center near the central square and it’s pretty close to the city’s main attractions

This was my third stay at this hotel, although the start was a bit bumpy as the very nice jacuzzis at the rooftop were not activated at check-in, the manager immediately tried to find a solution and a short time later the jacuzzis were usable

As a compensation, because the jacuzzi was not yet active the day before, I was able to use it until the afternoon on the day of check-out, which was very friendly and attentive

The General Manager kept asking how I was and if everything was OK, which is not a given in a larger hotel and in a chain. I would be happy to come back a fourth time

We were pleasantly surprised of the amount of toiletries they provide compared to any other hotel In the price range from pantoffles to a sewing kit. The beds are extremely comfy and the pillows too

Arrived during heat wave and our Air Condition on first night was not working perfectly but rapidly got resolved next AM by very responsive team

The team also was excellent at guiding us for Athens shopping and beach needs (we had already pre-booked tours Online for Acropolis+Museum)

Great pool and views . the rooms are very spacious but not stylish. Anyway it will become the new four seasons of athens so there will be a major change . we have to wait till next year .

Lastly, location is good and a short walk to the Center, but beware of the streets around the hotel as there are lots of dodgy people & pickpockets - the security on the hotel doors made us feel at ease & safe though, so that was good!

Perfect location, to all attractions. Lots of taxi choices or 2 stops on metro. Can get a 5 day metro card for 8 euros. Food perfect and hotel really clean and perfect decoration for a city break

There’s massage service and gym and restaurant with beautiful food. But above all the staff is beyond friendly and helpful,down to the last cleaning lady

If there was one negative- we stayed when it was extremely hot. Only 4/5 umbrella available which meant a lot of sunbeds/ seats in direct sun

Great location, it is a short walk to the metro, most attractions / shops / restaurants that you want to go to are within walking distance. Gym is small but i don’t assume anyone is in Athens for the gym

I saw a comment here about the AC temperature - in my case, it was working perfectly fine and was able to set the temperature without restrictions. Internet speed and connection was great

Breakfast had a lot of choices and the food quality was great! The room was clean and modern (a bit small though + the view wasn’t great, which is expected due to it’s location)
