Excellent stay at a luxury hotel, thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in Athens. The pool was closed due to the winter season, but it looked great. The gym was quite extensive and not busy in the morning between 10-11am

If youre on the top floors with a suite, you get an AMAZING large LARGE balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Also some of the most friendly warm and extremely beautiful/attractive staff/guests as well

What a fabulous two night stay. I got a room upgrade for my IHG status and we were on the Premier 9th floor. With a dedicated lift and amazing views. The staff were attentive and the piano 🎹 evenings wonderful

This place is high class indeed and welcomes travelers from all over. Its close to the city center as well with lots to see and do around the area

They always went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Although the immediate surroundings look a bit dire the view from the rooftop restaurant and bar was absolutely stunning and more than made up for it

I can tell you the difference between the breakfast buffet at the Intercontinental hotels in Rome and Athens (sheeps milk yogurt vs honey in the comb) and quality is a hallmark of the experience

The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

The nearest metro is 10-15 minutes away or you can walk to the Plaka and Acropolis area in 25-30 minutes. There is a square nearby with bars. cafés and restaurants if you want somewhere else to eat or drink

The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule

Since I arrived on Greek Easter nothing in the area was open unfortunately. It did not seem like there was and shopping in the walkable area- though I could be mistaken. From pool deck a nice view of Acropolis

She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack

Excellent experience! Flight cancelled and sent to Devini Caravel. Gorgeous reception and beautiful room. Greek people so friendly and kind. View from the pool of Acropolis and St George church

Breakfast was good considering the pandemic (would have liked more options and more self serve) and pool is under construction. We were very impressed and very much enjoyed the visit

Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after

Really really great experience, from check-in to departure. Felt extremely valued as a Diamond member - front desk staff upgraded our room without even asking. Front desk staff was polite and professional and gracious

When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there

In the room itself, everything was easy to use and the pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had. I would definitely recommend and look forward to being able to return

Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally across the street from a convenient metro stop (the hotel is on the airport metro line!)

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Within walking distance of so many places including stops for hop on/hop off bus city tours. The room was nice and included robes and slippers to utilize

Great hotel! Great location, coffee food and cocktails! Room was always cleaned, breakfast is okay! Only thing is the pool is always so busy, very hard to get a seat at times. But would stay again regardless :)

Staff was friendly and on the ball, quick service with a smile. Setting is stunning on the rooftop pool deck, and about an 8 minute walk to Monastaraki square with good things to see along the way

We stayed a week at the Stanley and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooftop pool is spectacular and the views are amazing. The hotel is centrally located with several good restaurants nearby

We loved the rooftop bar and swimming pool and although we didn't use the restaurant, the food coming out looked lovely and it was always busy, the bonus being a great view of the Acropolis

What a fabulous hotel! The location is great, the metro is just around the corner, 4 stops for the Acropolis, 3 stops for the parliament with changing of the guard and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by

Stayed for 3 nights after a NCL cruise. Room was clean, comfortable and had complimentary cold beers, waters, red wine and coffee machine waiting. Staff speak good English and are always helpful, cheerful and friendly

The quality of breakfast is a little bit worse, and the dinner is expensive but the taste is average. However, compared with the surrounding hotels, the overall rating of this hotel is still very cost-effective

It has a very nice location and scenery! It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the Acropolis and other attractions in the market center. It is very convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation

And best of all, the location from which we could see the Parthenon during breakfast was the best! This is a must-visit hotel when you visit Athens

The hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the facilities, everything was perfect! My mother uses a wheelchair and the support was excellent

The hotel welcomed us with a bottle of champagne as well as a chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a very nice touch

Pool on roof is small but fine. The happy hour food was lame and never refilled. There is a great park across the street. I'm the summer they have music and movies in the park

The room is spacious and has a good view. The breakfast is rich and the lobby bar is suitable for business exchanges and small meetings. I saw a lot of business activities during my stay

Stayed one night prior to transfer to the cruise ship. Air France misplaced luggage so we got into the hotel later than anticipated. For the little while we stayed there the hotel was great

Great quality hotel! So far it’s been a great experience. We flew in with a group of about 70 people for a tour with discovery tours. We showed up at the hotel, 10 minutes later, we were all checked in and in our rooms

The service is OK, but the rooms near the street are very noisy, the sound insulation is relatively poor, and there are all kinds of car and motorcycle noises downstairs in the middle of the night

The real experience is pretty good in all aspects. This price is still comparable in Athens, but if you don't have a car, it's still not very convenient to travel

Travel agent recommended this hotel, has a pool and breakfast at rooftop that can see Acropolis. It's a bit far from the historical centre which was hard to walk to in the heat of summer

Really nice internationally branded hotel. Was able to enjoy a workout, a nice morning in the sun by the pool, and overnight lookout to the Acropolis on the rooftop bar.

A very nice four to five star hotel in downtown Athens. Our stay there was superb with rooftop dining and a marvelous view of the city. Highly recommend the mojitos!

We stayed at the Polis Grand a few times during our trip in Greece

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I wanted to call special attention to Costas! He was there almost every time we were in the lobby, and he made a point to remember us and greet us with familiarity, making the check in / check out process feel a lot smoother! I really appreciated him!!

A luxurious hotel, amazing hospitality and service from the reception staff who received and listened to requests for a room change, professional and friendly service at the wonderful and high-quality breakfast, the lobby restaurant staff is professional and helpful

We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious

The hotel is in a very good location, you can see the Acropolis, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the service is warm, the hotel facilities are very good, I highly recommend it, but it's a little expensive, haha

It was very nice, as expected of a first-class hotel with a long history. It's located in Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, so it was convenient to go anywhere.

I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake

Beautiful hotel in a great location for food and for touring the sites. Service in the hotel was amazing. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay, and given the weather the pool was too cold to go in

The pool area closes kind of early and it would be nice to be able to enjoy the view from their later at night, but otherwise, very well kept establishment

Exceeded our expectations! A much better and more affordable option than the Sofitel. While it’s not within walking distance from the terminal, the hourly shuttle bus makes up for it

This is a great value conveniently located hotel in Athens beside the Omonia metro station. A smart rooftop pool and bar area, good breakfast and above all friendly staff

If there was one negative- we stayed when it was extremely hot. Only 4/5 umbrella available which meant a lot of sunbeds/ seats in direct sun

Really nice stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - the breakfast really good quality. Air con :) Fitness center good. Roof top pool small but nice when the weather is really hot. We really enjoy our stay.
