Excellent stay at a luxury hotel, thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in Athens. The pool was closed due to the winter season, but it looked great. The gym was quite extensive and not busy in the morning between 10-11am
If youre on the top floors with a suite, you get an AMAZING large LARGE balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Also some of the most friendly warm and extremely beautiful/attractive staff/guests as well
This place is high class indeed and welcomes travelers from all over. Its close to the city center as well with lots to see and do around the area
I can tell you the difference between the breakfast buffet at the Intercontinental hotels in Rome and Athens (sheeps milk yogurt vs honey in the comb) and quality is a hallmark of the experience
The desk staff was incredibly accommodating, the bellmen first rate, housekeeping perfect. When we encounter someone who isn’t personable it’s frankly jarring
That’s what you are paying for. The locations, the ambiance, and the service. Generally, everything is as close to perfect as one can get

The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home
Great location, great service, ( Stephania and Georgia are two waitresses that were amazing and took such great care of us!) We would definitely recommend staying here while in Athens!
The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule
I stayed at the Divani Caravel Hotel on a business trip and I have to admit that it was an amazing experience. and the service was amazing, making my stay really unique
She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack
Since I arrived on Greek Easter nothing in the area was open unfortunately. It did not seem like there was and shopping in the walkable area- though I could be mistaken. From pool deck a nice view of Acropolis

Location is perfect! The metro is right outside the hotel, which is very accessible! 4 stops to the acropolis, what more could you want?! Also top tip, there's a cafe just on the corner of the hotel which is actually part of the Stanley, it's the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat!
The amenity space on the rooftop is the best feature of this hotel. The pool area is really large and very nice. It's very busy so it's not easy getting a spot to sit but it's worth the effort
We stayed at the Stanley at the beginning of our trip to Greece and again at the end when we were back in Athens. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were always friendly and accommodating
The room was a really decent size for a European city hotel! The bathroom was fine, some room for improvement in that area but perfectly adequate! The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was also very good! The rooftop is the star of the show, we ate at the restaurant twice during our week in Athens, the food there was exquisite and the view is sensational! Also...
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was absolutely superb. We also did dinner each night at the sweet basil/cloud 9. It was delicious and the staff were some of the best
One would expect a more luxury feeling for this price point in terms of being modern and larger. The front lobby feels dated as well. Seems they have spent all their money on the rooftop

Breakfast was good considering the pandemic (would have liked more options and more self serve) and pool is under construction. We were very impressed and very much enjoyed the visit
Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after
Really really great experience, from check-in to departure. Felt extremely valued as a Diamond member - front desk staff upgraded our room without even asking. Front desk staff was polite and professional and gracious
When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there
In the room itself, everything was easy to use and the pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had. I would definitely recommend and look forward to being able to return
Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally across the street from a convenient metro stop (the hotel is on the airport metro line!)

Great quality hotel! So far it’s been a great experience. We flew in with a group of about 70 people for a tour with discovery tours. We showed up at the hotel, 10 minutes later, we were all checked in and in our rooms
Lack of pool (all year round) and indoor spa facilities (sauna, stream room etc) make it fall short
Stayed one night prior to transfer to the cruise ship. Air France misplaced luggage so we got into the hotel later than anticipated. For the little while we stayed there the hotel was great
Small pool on roof and bar with scenic views
Our specific service was timely, responsive, engaging and with a smile and great attitude in face of serving the entire room. a talent as this is rare and needs to be retained
I do not know the circumstances but when we were there ordering drinks and food (the octopus appie is outstanding!), Erica was serving the entire room by herself

Great location. You may enjoy 2 different types of swimming pools. One normal and one with sea water. Catering is excellent, coffees, drinks etc. and the restaurant is right there also.
RThis hotel is truly exceptional. The spa is beyond compare, and the front desk staff consistently go above and beyond to guarantee a delightful stay
I had the pleasure of staying at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in September for a work conference, and it was truly an outstanding experience
The rooms are fantastic, chock-full of free amenities and bonuses, even if the walls are a bit thin. The outdoor pool area is nothing short of stunning and we couldn't comprehend how expansive the gym/spa area was
The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff were so attentive during breakfast to ensure we were happy. We enjoyed the fresh water and salt pools and also the hotel’s proximity to the beach
This is the second stay for our family at this hotel and once again it exceeded our expectations. On arrival, the porters assisted us with our luggage, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and made checkin simple

They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Acropolis—which made it easy for us to explore without long trips
Our family had an exceptional experience here, thanks to the impeccable service and perfect location. Traveling with a young child can be challenging, staff made everything easy and enjoyable for us
A stellar stay! Within easy walking distance of the Acropolis, tons of great restaurant, and many other great sights! Helpful staff, clean and pristine rooms, and a great pool.
Excellent hotel with probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with the best views on the Acropolis and is super centrally located
Michael, the Bell Captain was a highlight of our stay. Genial and professional, he made us feel more at home and comfortable. Helpful in information about surrounding area. Here’s an asset to your hotel
The staff was very nice and helpful. Within walking distance of so many places including stops for hop on/hop off bus city tours. The room was nice and included robes and slippers to utilize

The restaurant and bar staff are so amazing and welcoming it was such a bonus to staying here!! The food was great the drinks were superb and delicious I can’t say enough positive things about Sofitel @ Athens airport! I am so grateful for you all and making my stay that much better!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were welcomed with the utmost courtesy. The reception staff greeted us warmly, and the service attendant provided a thorough explanation of our room
I was in this hotel multiple times due to my work and the hotel is just amazing. Beds in this hotel are the most comfortable ones I ever slept on. I do see that Sofitel answers these reviews sometimes
This hotel is above and beyond amazing! The staff is 100% the best I’ve experienced in a long time. Everyone is so willing to help with a smile! The facilities are so beautiful and immaculately clean
The dining room service was impeccable, ensuring a delightful experience throughout our stay. Every moment was truly five-star worthy. We had an exceptional time at our hotel in Athens!
If anyone from sofitel reads this, could you please tell me the exact name of the mattress that is in your rooms and where can I buy one

The hotel also includes a complimentary breakfast buffet, with many delicious options (including some local Greek specialities). Due to the short length of our stay, we did not use any of the other hotel’s amenities
Electra Metropolis in Athens is a fantastic hotel with an unbeatable central location. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant offers stunning views of the Acropolis
The hotel welcomed us with a bottle of champagne as well as a chocolate cake to celebrate our honeymoon, which was a very nice touch
Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Athens based on its beauty, location, and service
The staff are friendly and attentive, making for a perfect stay
The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotless, with a cozy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! The rooftop restaurant and bar are a real highlight, offering breathtaking views of the Acropolis, especially stunning at sunset

The room was fantastic, with a view over the city skyline and akropolis. The room itself was very nice and clean, a very nice bath room and for once an above standard coffee/espresso machine
If you’re looking for a memorable stay in Athens, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s truly a gem, made even better by the incredible team that ensures each guest feels valued
The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food! The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of engaging discussions
Didn't try the room service but I would assume it is of same heigh standard as the restaurants. If you prefer you can eat and drink in on of the many local bars and restaurants located nearby the hotel
I recently had the pleasure of organizing a business meeting in Wyndham Grand Athens hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The organization was impressive
As single parent traveling with young daughters, not only were the staff friendly, inviting and accommodating, they also made it their mission to make our stay perfect! Thanks for the amazing event at Cyclades Hall yesterday!!! Beautiful and elegant space! The large screen and the high ceiling was giving the feeling of luxury and simplicity at the same time!!! The banquet exquisite, in compliance with the standards of Hyatt!!! But, above all, the employees were the key to the success!! Excellent service, all the staff was extremely polite, helpful and to the point...
Wow what a great hotel! The location is ideal it’s out of the busy acropolis area of the city but still close enough to walk to most of the sites if you wanted
The service and the food at these places make it one of the better options to eat at in Athens we stopped by a few spots in the city and felt the offerings at the hotel were much better
The dinner menu is equally amazing it has a little bit of everything even sushi. The views from this place are worth just coming up for a drink but I would definitely eat here again
Pros: pool area, view of the acropolis, decent buffet breakfast, good size room (room with two beds have mattresses larger than American twin bed), helpful concierge, firm mattress Cons: elevators can be slow and seem inefficient in how they select which floors to stop on, cleaning quality is questionable, toilet flush is a bit weak, squeaky floor Let’s dwell on the cons

Very nice resort, world, class staff. Mercado, the property’s casual dining venue, delivers a great experience, 100% of the time. I could go on however, the bottom line is five star experience in every sense
We spend about a month every summer in Greece visiting family, and the 3 days spent here was absolutely amazing! I almost forgot I was actually in Greece! Never had to leave the resort, between the amazing pool, private beach, amazing restaurants, you have everything you need! The staff was great and very accommodating
Perfect resort, everything and everyone was beyond expectations. Many thanks for making our experience unforgettable. My only recommendation? Is to provide free beach bag for guests to enjoy a day on the pool/beach
Pelagos and Matsuhisa are both truly an amazing culinary experience. The room itself was a little on the small side, but the bathroom was quite large and luxurious. Great views, great vibes, great escape from reality!!
I’ll never forget our insanely beautiful stay at the four seasons Athens. We celebrated our engagement, and the staff truly took care of us the entire time. From check in, we never lifted a finger

I kindly asked him to keep bus waiting for me, and asked him why he didn't ring at 3am as I requested, only to be told that night receptionist hadn't jotted down if it was a am wake up or afternoon wake up
At 145 euros one night stay, absolutely unacceptable. Only positive note, young blonde lady at bar was most friendly
Stelios behind the bar is exceptional and a proud representative of Greek hospitality with awesome knowledge on tourism and a pride in his work. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day (once each way per hour)
Arrived in late evening of November 25, had a confirmation of my overnight stay, they could not find my reservation
They eventually found my reservation, asked for a 3am wake up call for an early flight out of Athens Airport, only for receptionist to ring my room at 3:26 am, to inform my Suttle bus was due to leave at 3:30 am
What a great way to spend a mandatory layover at Athena Airport. People were friendly and the food at hotel was great. Better than I expected from a Holiday inn! Only drawback nothing else really within walking distance

A very nice four to five star hotel in downtown Athens. Our stay there was superb with rooftop dining and a marvelous view of the city. Highly recommend the mojitos!
The room was clean and I have to say that if this hotel is not a 5 star it should be !!!. If I go back again to Athens I will want to stay in this hotel
We stayed at the Polis Grand a few times during our trip in Greece
The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! I wanted to call special attention to Costas! He was there almost every time we were in the lobby, and he made a point to remember us and greet us with familiarity, making the check in / check out process feel a lot smoother! Read up on this tradition beforehand so you will appreciate all the little details! A big thank you to the staff for the extra marzipan too! Yum!!
Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay
Excellent service and our meal at the rooftop restaurant was spectacular. Really enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. It had a sauna and four different steam rooms. Was an excellent way to relax after long walking tours
Superb treatment and really a beautiful hotel, great location great people, they don’t make them like this anymore. The staff were really helpful. Everything is walkable, lovely marble floors and staircases
Old world elegance with modern luxury service. The guest rooms have maintained their old school appointments, but the upstairs lounge and bar are very much updated with modern decor
A brunch or an afternoon tea at the Winter Lounge complete the pleasurable experience. And of course there is the Roof Garden restaurant with a breathtaking view

Great hotel with helpful, happy staff. Stayed for few days and breakfast choice and variety was great. Didn't get a chance to use the pool due to weather and sightseeing but gym was nice and used it once
Rooftop pool, bar, and dining area are just beautiful to relax after a day of sightseeing. All other staff were more than helpful and very kind
I was very comfortable staying here, all staff were friendly and greeted me with a warm smile. I would highly recommend. Beautiful view of The Acropolis from the roof restaurant and bar!!
Also, Theo must have been tired of dealing with weary travelers as he wasn't very pleasant. The positives - rooms are extremely nice with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower with body sprays. Rooms were clean and nicely prepared
Location: While the hotel is slightly removed from the city’s main attractions, it's only a 15-minute walk or a quick 5-minute metro ride to the lively parts of town. The Omonia metro station is conveniently close by
Maybe a free breakfast or cup of coffee/tea? I appreciate that the rooms need cleaned, but I'm sure there were some people that left early. An early arrival room for weary travelers would be appreciated

The hotel is very very good, I can't seem to understand some of the bad reviews. The reception was great and friendly the rooms were spacious and quiet
Our room window was across the train station and we could barely hear the trains go by. Amenities were sufficient and the breakfast was really good
The price and the location are excellent only 5 minutes away from the electric station that takes you everywhere in Athens
they don't provide hotel slippers! if you planning to stay dont forget yours. Breakfast is not the best for greece but good enough. There is a supermarket just across the street for your needs
I stayed at this hotel while visiting Athens for 4 nights. Good hotel option, not too far from central Athens There is a good breakfast at the hotel along with fast and free WiFi internet
