What a fabulous two night stay. I got a room upgrade for my IHG status and we were on the Premier 9th floor. With a dedicated lift and amazing views. The staff were attentive and the piano 🎹 evenings wonderful

All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old

TV not working properly, bath drain blocked, furniture broken, etc. I hope they can plan a renovation soon! The hotel is easy to access

The new refurbished rooms are top standard compared to the other InterContinental's I've stayed at. The pool was too cold to use, but was October

The service was excellent, the staff very professional and courteous, and the event space on the 6th floor — with its terrace overlooking the Acropolis — was truly stunning

George at concierge went above and beyond to help us, and we were even pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which made our stay feel extra special

It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!

What made a big difference was the staff of the hotel. Very helpful and really polite at all times. They helped me a lot with a lot of tips about the local area and what the best choices were for me

Hotel was very good and location of the hotel too! There was small problem that I come early in the morning at 4:30 am. Wanted to pay for early check in

The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing view. There were also many great restaurants nearby. Staying here for a week felt just as comfortable as being at home

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

After standing for an eternity whilst reception called the reservations team I was told that the only room available was our suite at over double what I paid a night and they had a strict policy where I would have to pay for 2 extra nights instead of the one I requested

Our fault but we also left a bag of shopping in one of the cupboards in the room (only Christmas decorations etc) I attempted to phone 4 times - cut off twice then told to call back as they only look at lost property at certain times

Stayed in one of the suites for 6 nights. Room and hotel are lovely and not a bad location if you’re happy walking/using public transport to get to some busier areas. Unfortunately not the best experience with the staff

The shampoo in the shower was diluted with water. When I pressed the bottle, only water came out. I called and asked for a proper shampoo with real texture, and they said okay, but no one ever came

I can’t understand that policy when we had already spent 6 nights there but they were adamant. This resulted in a huge cost and unfortunately it meant we had to move hotel for the extra night

I’ve stayed in many hotels before and never had this issue. The fridge was very old and extremely noisy. It’s inside the closet, and I could hear it all night, which was very annoying

Lots of towels, robes and slippers. Very nice sized frig and housekeeping was very good. For qualifying members, food and service was terrific daily

If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand) If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist

The Athens Marriott is a beautiful hotel, but what truly makes it unforgettable is the service and staff. From the moment I arrived, Mary Ann went above and beyond to make me feel welcome

She is, without a doubt, the heart of the Athens Marriott. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made every interaction a joy

The Athens Marriott has an excellent location—right in the middle of everything. The hotel offers valet parking, the rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast has a good variety of options

Breakfast was good considering the pandemic (would have liked more options and more self serve) and pool is under construction. We were very impressed and very much enjoyed the visit

Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after

Really really great experience, from check-in to departure. Felt extremely valued as a Diamond member - front desk staff upgraded our room without even asking. Front desk staff was polite and professional and gracious

Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally across the street from a convenient metro stop (the hotel is on the airport metro line!)

Overall, it was a memorable experience. Note that the hotel is steps away from the airport and nearby metro stop (which can take you to the Port of Piraeus or various points in Athens)

Travel agent recommended this hotel, has a pool and breakfast at rooftop that can see Acropolis. It's a bit far from the historical centre which was hard to walk to in the heat of summer

We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious

It was very nice, as expected of a first-class hotel with a long history. It's located in Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, so it was convenient to go anywhere.

I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake

Premises and location were excellent. Room was spacious and immaculate, as you would expect. The thing which was disconcerting, however, was that staff morale seemed very low throughout our stay

The bar, lobby lounge area and pool were lovely. They have quite a few groups come through and conferences, but it was never inconvenient

We stayed 4 nights and our room was very comfortable. Check-in is efficient and we were able to store luggage as we had arrived very early. Location is perfect for accessing tours, shopping, restaurants

The rooftop restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is two buildings and it takes a couple trips to orient to the elevators and stairs

No shade at the pool available (I understand they can't put umbrellas on the roof because of wind, but don't understand at level 1 pool in courtyard)

The hotel is very close to the Acropolis. You can see the night view of the Acropolis from the balcony at night. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 7 days and it was pretty good. It's very close to the Acropolis and very convenient. There are some big stones of Athens' ancient monuments in the dining area on the underground first floor of the hotel

The quality of breakfast is a little bit worse, and the dinner is expensive but the taste is average. However, compared with the surrounding hotels, the overall rating of this hotel is still very cost-effective

The hotel also includes a complimentary breakfast buffet, with many delicious options (including some local Greek specialities). Due to the short length of our stay, we did not use any of the other hotel’s amenities

It has a very nice location and scenery! It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the Acropolis and other attractions in the market center. It is very convenient for food, clothing, housing and transportation

Electra Metropolis exceeded all expectations. Our room was beautiful, with a wrap-around balcony - with two olive trees and unbelievable views

The rooms are nice, well laid out and with the necessary amenities (nice to have an iron and ironing board available). One thing to note is that our room had a tub with a shower wand that is connected to the wall

We recently had a great stay at the King George. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The front desk helped us find some excellent restaurants and even went so far as to get us reservations

It's little things, like telling you that you can use the pool at the hotel next to them but not clarifying that it's not the rooftop pool (the good one) and only the spa pool (floor -1), or the fact that I can't even get cocktails from the bar and bring it up to our room while we get ready

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff, well appointed rooms. Well equipped gym and a Michelin star restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which looked out into the main square

The pool area closes kind of early and it would be nice to be able to enjoy the view from their later at night, but otherwise, very well kept establishment

It was on the expensive end, but the food was excellent and we had a lovely view of the city, including the Acropolis. It was a great way to unwind after a long travel day, and get ready for the rest of Greece

The district of Omonia that the hotel is in is a bit grungy, but the reality is that Athens is a very grungy city, and if it wasn't for its history and attractions like the Acropolis and National Museum, no one would go there

Gewrgia, roof top bar waitress is excellent and very funny,is the entertainment When you go ask for Georgia, tell her you heard she was funny. The room was clean and comfy, changed plans to come here again in the way out

Definitely go up there! Rooftop pool was above average size for a rooftop pool, especially in an archaeological gem like Athens (considering how close the hotel is to the Acropolis). Will stay again on our next visit!

View from our room was ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Only thing I would maybe add is a Netflix option on tv. Also for this high end of a hotel it’s not appropriate to only have 2 bath towels

Must say: a great choice! Charming Breeze made our trip to Santorini perfect. The hotel is in the quiet town of Oia. The hotel is in a great location. We had breakfast on the balcony facing the Aegean Sea
