Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens1 / 50

Athens, 2 Vas. Alexandrou Ave 🧭 Map
The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially this lovely lady Miss Xenia who helped me split my day tour into two days according to my flight schedule. She even allowed me to check out later, so I didn't have to rush for the flight. I could come back, take a nice shower, rest, and pack. The breakfast and room service food were delicious, and the rooftop pool offered an amazing...
We arrived after our early morning flight and the bellman were very polite and took our baggage straight to storage but the front desk was quite rude to us about how early we arrived - I didn’t ask to check in and didn’t expect to, so there was no need to be rude. We only had 1 day in Athens so being well located to the main sites was important. This hotel was walkable to everything including the...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Divani Caravel hotel during a business trip, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received. I would like to extend a special thank you to your concierge, Xenia, who was incredibly helpful with every question and request. Her professionalism and attentiveness truly enhanced my stay. Additionally, I want to give...
Rooms were good n clean. Rooftop garden was nice but pool was very busy. Breakfast was great but Restaurant service / room service was horrible. We requested for 4 plates and 4 spoons - they asked for 12 euros per person plus additional 15 euros for Room delivery charges for just empty utensils. They were kind enough to give us plastic plates if we come down to get it. Next day, we asked for two plastic...
Excellent experience! Flight cancelled and sent to Devini Caravel. Gorgeous reception and beautiful room. Greek people so friendly and kind. Took very well care for us. Perfect setting in safe area. View from the pool of Acropolis and St George church. Food and service plentiful and diverse. Would come back to this hotel over and over.
We stayed at this Divani Caravel Athens in the last week of July and I must admit our experience was simply overwhelming and beyond expectations. The hotel room was exceptional , pool was great and overall location was very central to main centre square in Athens. The staff were great and assisted us in every possible manner however a special thanks goes to Dimitri’s Koursaris (hotel manager) whom...

One of the best Hiltons I’ve stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a diamond member we were upgraded to an acropolis view. They provided complimentary bottled water throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing in the hotel restaurant and the drinks and view from the Galaxy bar are worth a visit. A great value for Award nights. I’d recommend anyone coming to Athens stay at this hotel.
Hotel is pretty large and grand, with a huge reception area. Some parts are a little dated but most looks clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly and attentive and you feel well looked after. It's not the cheapest place but the higher prices are justified
A fantastic hotel with the best views. The food in the rooftop restaurant was absolutely devine and the breakfasts were cooked to perfection. In the room itself, everything was easy to use and the pillows were the most comfortable I've ever had. I would definitely recommend and look forward to being able to return.
Really really great experience, from check-in to departure. Felt extremely valued as a Diamond member - front desk staff upgraded our room without even asking. Front desk staff was polite and professional and gracious. Room was fantastic - get the Acropolis view!!! Several restaurants behind the hotel within a 5 min walk. Location is great, 15 min walk from the marble Olympic stadium and literally...
my husband and I stayed at this hotel during our first trip to Greece and we had a very enjoyable stay! situated in a safe area between two metro stations, it was very convenient for getting around, although I quickly wished we'd stayed closer to Monastiraki Square as that's where we spent the most time. that said, this hotel was nice, if not a bit outdated. the breakfast was delicious and the rooftop...
When visiting Athens this is the perfect hotel. Location is great and the staff are very polite especially those in the executive lounge. Say hello to Dimitri while you're there. He is a great guy and pointed us in the direction of where to go and what to see.

Nice hotel. Beautiful seawater pool.
The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.
RThis hotel is truly exceptional. The spa is beyond compare, and the front desk staff consistently go above and beyond to guarantee a delightful stay. They welcome you with genuine smiles and are ever prepared to fulfill any need. The accommodations are exquisitely adorned, offering a seamless combination of coziness and opulence. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant boasts a varied menu that caters...
I had the pleasure of staying at the Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in September for a work conference, and it was truly an outstanding experience. The service throughout my stay was exceptional, every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure my...
Not a 5 stars resort experience when compared to recent units on the Athens Riviera and…In urgent need of overall renovation, since the early 2000´s. F/B performance, breakfast buffet setting and quality « locked » on the stingy eighties standards: out of the hot buffet servings there us extra charge for eggs, 15€ for room service charge etc…
Our flights were cancelled so Aegean Air sent us to this hotel. While checking in, they handled bus loads of people with ease. They were polite, helpful, and caring. The rooms are fantastic, chock-full of free amenities and bonuses, even if the walls are a bit thin. The outdoor pool area is nothing short of stunning and we couldn't comprehend how expansive the gym/spa area was. It was a shame we were...

Excellent hotel with probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with the best views on the Acropolis and is super centrally located. I found it exceptional value for money.
Our family had an exceptional experience here, thanks to the impeccable service and perfect location. Traveling with a young child can be challenging, staff made everything easy and enjoyable for us. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which we truly appreciated. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Acropolis—which made it easy for us to explore without long trips...
Michael, the Bell Captain was a highlight of our stay. Genial and professional, he made us feel more at home and comfortable. Helpful in information about surrounding area. Here’s an asset to your hotel. Thermis at the desk, an extraordinary ambassador! Welcoming and helpful to an all of us traveling from Hawaii! Dinning waitstaff is superb!
We recently stayed here and loved the location and enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and a clear priority. The cleaning and support staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The only issue was the attitude and demeanor of many of the staff members; a few front desk staffers, the breakfast servers, and bar tenders. They were short and unfriendly. It was very strange to be received...
Natasha in the reception area is an angel. I don’t think the hotel could afford to give everyone the service she gave us so I won’t mention specifically what it was. But we appreciated it and she made it clear that there is a culture of true hospitality at this hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Imagine a private terrace with a hot tub with the Parthenon right over us. It was amazing.
Velissarios’s Service was always above and beyond. He was very friendly and professional at the same time. We enjoyed the location of our hotel. The rooms were fine. The rooftop deck was a wonderful experience.

The rooms are very square, with complete facilities and very nice staff. The restaurant on the 10th floor of the hotel is right in front of the Acropolis. It has a very nice location and scenery! Clean rooms, convenient location, close to the subway station, many restaurants nearby, rich breakfast, you can see the view of the Acropolis, delicious dinner food, but the hotel room is a bit old
The hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the facilities, everything was perfect! My mother uses a wheelchair and the support was excellent. And best of all, the location from which we could see the Parthenon during breakfast was the best! This is a must-visit hotel when you visit Athens.
Excellent location, very friendly staff
We stayed at the Electra Metropolis Hotel during the first two nights of our Greece honeymoon trip. The location is average, the transportation is not convenient. The service is OK, but the rooms near the street are very noisy, the sound insulation is relatively poor, and there are all kinds of car and motorcycle noises downstairs in the middle of the night.
The breakfast was good. It was the only hotel I had seen that had hot soup for breakfast. The cleaning was also timely. The attitude of the front desk staff was average. The attitude of the staff I met when I checked out was particularly bad. They actually charged us for the mineral water that the staff brought to the room every day and put in the refrigerator. We stayed for six nights and spent 3...
I stayed at the Marriott a few days before arriving in Greece. The advantage is that there is a shuttle bus to Constitution Square, but the location is relatively far from the Acropolis. The disadvantage is that the service is extremely poor, the worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. It was the first time I encountered a situation where bottled water in the room was only delivered in limited quantities...
The real experience is pretty good in all aspects. This price is still comparable in Athens, but if you don't have a car, it's still not very convenient to travel
The room is spacious and has a good view. The breakfast is rich and the lobby bar is suitable for business exchanges and small meetings. I saw a lot of business activities during my stay. It is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel to the harbor and the civic activity center.
Standard Marriott service, there are many delicious restaurants near the hotel

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were welcomed with the utmost courtesy. The reception staff greeted us warmly, and the service attendant provided a thorough explanation of our room. The dining room service was impeccable, ensuring a delightful experience throughout our stay. Every moment was truly five-star worthy. We had an exceptional time at our hotel in Athens!
I was in this hotel multiple times due to my work and the hotel is just amazing. Beds in this hotel are the most comfortable ones I ever slept on. I do see that Sofitel answers these reviews sometimes. If anyone from sofitel reads this, could you please tell me the exact name of the mattress that is in your rooms and where can I buy one. Thank you!
The location is very convenient, as it's right next to the airport, so you can easily walk there without needing a car. The staff was friendly. But if you are hotel guest car parking is free. I was booked by the airline I was flying with due to a flight cancellation and my stay was great. Staff are welcoming, professional and go above and beyond to serve customers. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options – the best i've had by far. Lunch and dinner are also delicious. The room was comfortable and clean and with great amenities.
You literally walk across the street from arrivals and you’re in the hotel. It couldn’t be any more convenient. Great friendly service and two restaurants to choose from. The rooms are so quiet you’d never know you were staying at the airport.

The hotel is right on the seaside in Athens. The service and decoration are definitely high-end for Four Seasons Hotel. The sea view is unbeatable and the sleep is super quiet. I especially like the breakfast restaurant, which has both beautiful scenery and delicious food.
reception service is very lovely
Very nice resort, world, class staff. Great spa. Mercado, the property’s casual dining venue, delivers a great experience, 100% of the time. I could go on however, the bottom line is five star experience in every sense.
Beautiful resort like hotel. The staff were the most friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars to the rooms is because there was not enough lighting but that seems normal in Greece.
It just doesn’t get any better than this hotel. It is an extraordinary upgrade from the long string of hotels that preceded it as this location. All the comforts a person could look for in a visit to Greece are there, from five fine restaurants (everything from Michelin Stars to an excellent Greek taverna), exceptional views of the Aegean, and beautifully appointed rooms loaded with amenities. Whether it is for business or travel, it is recommended. It is in the city center and is very convenient for meetings and travel. The only thing is that it is a little old, but it is acceptable. The service attitude is still very good, and the cost performance is relatively high. I may stay here again in the future.
The location is very good, with Attica Mall nearby, and all kinds of luxury brands and fast fashion can be reached on foot. The hotel facilities are a bit old, after all, it is old. The water in the shower 🚿 will flow to the ground. Then the room has the smell of an old house~
I stayed at this hotel twice when I came to Athens. Although the hardware is average, it is conveniently located and cost-effective. The city attractions are within walking distance, it is also convenient to buy things downstairs, and the room is cleaned in a timely manner.
The location is good, in the city center, convenient for shopping and eating, and the transportation is also very convenient. The hotel has a nice view, good facilities, and good service attitude! I will come again next time I travel.
Good location, Constitution Square, convenient transportation. All attractions can be reached on foot, 27 minutes walk to the Archaeological Museum.

The first stop when I came to Greece was the King George Hotel, a very old hotel, a luxury hotel under Marriott.
