This is the worst hotel we have stayed at! The rooms are dirty, the bathroom too. The beds are uncomfortable. In the beach bar we only have water to drink, which is not from a bottle, we don't even have a squeezed orange juice. And you don’t have option to buy it. Only juices with sugar from tetrapaks. There is no fresh fruit. Food is tasteless and has no choice. You don’t have yogurt, not to mention anything else. What all inclusive concept is that?! Beach bar stinks! This is embarrassing! The photos and description of the hotel on website are fake. This hotel is not cheap at all.

This hotel is an absolute joke. The beds have hairs on them, stains on them and the sheets smelled unclean. The sheets were definitely not changed between guests. The internet didn’t work 90% of the time. The rooms were extremely small, the effort in cleaning was 0% .The no refund policy is ridiculous, the food was disgusting, made me feel ill after eating, it was inedible

Absolutely Disgraceful – Avoid at All Costs I came here with family and friends — a group of 14 — and not one of us has had a positive experience. The hotel is filthy and unsanitary. We found hairs in the beds, and the overall cleanliness is appalling. The food looks and tastes like it came from a vending machine — completely unacceptable for the amount we paid. The Wi-Fi is terrible and barely works. When we complained, we were told to sit in the lobby to use it — which is ridiculous, considering we paid for private rooms, not to be sitting in public spaces just to stay connected. The staff are unhelpful, unkind, and flat-out rude. The manager was particularly disrespectful, dismissing our concerns and saying the owner “doesn’t listen.” They do not take complaints seriously and refused to offer even a partial refund — despite us spending over £4000. It honestly feels like a scam that they continue to get away with. In my 20 years of travelling, I have never stayed at a hotel like this — one that provides such poor service and still manages to operate like nothing’s wrong. It’s shocking that they can treat guests this way and get away with it. They kept telling us to just “go to the beach” instead of addressing the real problems. They offer golf buggy rides only to the elderly, kids, or those with obvious mobility issues — but what about people like myself who struggle physically? There’s zero thought given to general accessibility or comfort for others. We paid extra for a Seaview room and ended up looking at a pool and trees — hardly the view we were promised. It’s false advertising, plain and simple. The main pool is nearly 3 meters deep, which is not only excessive but unsafe, especially for those with children. The water smelled terrible. There is a kids’ pool, but it’s tiny and not fit for much. We came here to make great memories with our loved ones, and instead, we’re counting down the minutes until we can leave. Everyone in our group feels the same. If you’re considering this place, don’t even think twice — stay away. It’s a complete disaster and a massive waste of money.

Disappointing Stay – Not worth the money at all I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this hotel truly deserves a warning label. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that cleanliness and basic hospitality standards were not a priority here. Dirty Sheets: The bedding looked like it hadn’t been changed in ages. Stains, and there was pieces of hairs when I pulled back the covers. I was expecting fresh sheets, and even those didn’t seem properly washed. we complained saying it wasn’t clean and they said they would send someone up to clean them. We had dinner and went back to our room, we went in to see hairs on the bed again, we at least thought they would wash the sheets but no it seems like they just redid the bed. Terrible Wi-Fi: If you need reliable internet for work, don’t even bother. The Wi-Fi barely worked in my room, constantly dropping out or refusing to connect altogether. I had better service in the lobby. We told them our wifi wasn’t good in our room and they told us just to stay in the lobby then, which is ridiculous because we at least expected it to work in the rooms. Disgusting Food: The food was flat-out awful. Breakfast looked like it came out of a vending machine, and dinner options were barely edible. I couldn’t even finish one meal without feeling sick. It’s sad when you’d rather eat something at a petrol station than at your hotel. Rooms: I’ve stayed in budget hotels before, but this felt more like a closet than a hotel room. There was barely enough space to walk around the bed, let alone open a suitcase or relax. The bathroom was gross. If you’re even slightly claustrophobic, don’t book this place. The walls are extremely thin, you can hear others talking, moving around etc. This hotel may look good from the outside but inside, it’s horrible, they scam you, they take your money and when you want a refund, they won’t accept it. They probably don’t accept refunds because loads ask for it. Some workers and the manager are extremely rude and unhelpful, next time i book a hotel, i will look deeper into the reviews. All in all, this place felt neglected, poorly managed, and far below any acceptable standard. I would never stay here again and strongly recommend others look elsewhere.

This is BY FAR THE BEST CHOICE you can make if you want to make most of your holiday experience. - Firstly, THE BEACH is absolutely amazing with the clearest water you can find on Kassandra peninsula. It is wide enough to accommodate all guests and, more importantly, you can have your privacy (as there's plenty of space among the sunbeds.) Also, sunbeds are free of charge; 🏖️ - Secondly, there is a great variety of FOOD TO SUIT EVERY TASTE, even for the choosiest ones. Moreover, the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful, different every day! Tables are literally loaded with cornucopia of tasty dishes, which are constantly refilled. All-inclusive at its best! 👌 - Then, there's LIVE MUSIC almost every night, which makes it absolutely unnecessary for guests to leave the hotel in search of entertainment and makes your stay utterly enjoyable. The music conveniently ends at 11 pm, thus leaving families with young children or elderly members have their rest on time. The management has really thought of everything in detail! 👍🎶 - Next, the SECURITY employee truly does his job very well. He double checks every person before entering the premises and makes sure there's a suitable parking spot for everyone. The same goes for the cart driver responsible for taking/carrying the guests' luggage to their room and accommodating them. - The ENTIRE PERSONNEL is very kind, greeting guests and smiling all the time. Starting from the cleaning ladies, the receptionists, to the bartenders at the beach bar always serving with a smile - they were all a huge asset to the hotel. - Finally, I want to express a SPECIAL THANKS to the manager - EVGENIJA - who is the HIGHLIGHT OF THE HOTEL and of our entire experience! 🙏😇 She went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure we/ everyone had their best time. She even reminded the guests (an option we've never encountered anywhere else before and I have traveled across Halkidiki my entire life!) that they could leave the luggage at reception upon checking out and stay at the beach (lunch and dinner included!!) for the remaining of their last day. I could never thank her enough for making my and my daughter's stay the best vacation ever !!! ❤️ All in all, I highly recommend this place and will definitely return here!

First - selling point - elevator to the beach doesn't work and they won't fix it this year at all Rooms are too small Reception manager - blonde lady apparently macedonian- is so rude! and others are incapable for anything, new receptionist told me 10 times i'm new i don't know anything, ok, who knows? If you are working you should have some training, your job is to service customers. General manager is scared of his own shadow and can't do anything Clean of the rooms are poor, they clean only 1 in 10 days and not even good Beds are so uncomfortable Internet doesn't work in the room, just at the lobby Only car boys who drive you to the beach when you get them, were very nice and polite, it was 3 different but all of them, well done, you are bright side of hotel!

The hotel is labeled 4*, which really doesn't match. It's old and the renovation wasn't very successful. The paper walls between the rooms, the leaky doors and windows were terrible - basically you could hear absolutely everything from the next rooms, the hallway, outside and we didn't have a moment of peace and quiet. On the top floor there were bird nests in the hallway, which were also very noisy and flew around the rooms. Almost the entire clientele of the hotel were Russians, who are incredibly noisy and have no regard for others. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for the nature of the clients, but this was the absolute worst I've ever experienced anywhere. The way to the beach - there was supposed to be a cable car available, which wasn't working and we got this information from the travel agency a few days before our flight. Other options for getting to the beach were the breakneck steep stairs without railings or the "slow" walk (the path was so steep that we had to do a lot to get down or up properly). The beach was beautiful, it could do with a little cleaning. There were quite a few sunbeds - if we weren't on the beach before half past nine, there was almost no chance of a free sunbed and umbrella. The sea was beautifully clean in the morning, quite murky in the afternoon, we don't know why. Food - breakfast was excellent, everyone had their choice. Lunch and dinner - the meals were always repeated. Allergens were not marked. Good coffee. Staff - there's really nothing to criticize, they tried to accommodate and help in everything. Very nice and smiling.

Mitsis are in their first season at this hotel. There's room for improvement and they're on it. Lots of changes and updating in the pipeline. However, our stay was lovely. The room was comfortable although the air conditioning could have been better on hot days. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff worked hard to make it a great experience. The drinks menu in the bars wasn't massive but it didn't need to be when there was something for everyone unless you're really fussy. The drinks they had were great and plenty good enough to make for an enjoyable lunch, afternoon or evening. Giannis at the pool bar made some particularly great cocktails with amazing relaxation properties! We were a little disappointed with the Tavern experience though. It seemed to have been "bigged up" through having to book but it didn't seem any more special than eating in the main restaurant. Most of all though, it was the Hotel Staff that made our stay so good. Lovely friendly people who just wanted us to enjoy ourselves. Angie who checked us in and gave us a personalised tour of the hotel on our arrival was outstanding and a very interesting lady to talk to. Unfortunately I didn't catch all the names of al the 'Restaurant Crew' but we always had a lovely greeting from the girl and guy on the door every time we went in and the waiters and waitresses were lovely too. They worked so hard but we're always happy to chat a bit as well. Carina and Fani especially. The Mitsis Alexander the Great felt like a home from home. Really looking forward to going back.

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday in this lovely hotel. We liked that the restoration had been done with the utmost care . The dining was great managed by Maitre Fodis. The gardens are beautiful and the staff friendly and welcoming. The beach was perfect. I would probably change the steps up to the fabulous bar which I found difficult to climb.
