Alexander the Great Beach Hotel

I have stayed at the Alexander the Great hotel several times.
Fantastic location, friendly staff, beautiful private beach, the price-quality ratio is completely satisfactory.

I recommended him to friends, acquaintances and colleagues.

Each of them is impressed by the hotel, the restaurant, the location, the beach, and the peace that the hotel provides.
Like me, many of them will return to the unique beauty and combination of nature, hotels, resorts and services.

me and my boyfriend came here as our first holiday together, we had the best week, when we arrived the hotel was even better than expected and the staff were so welcoming, our room was cleaned everyday and it was big and we had the most beautiful terrace, the beach is amazing as well as the pool there is so much to do within the resort, the location is perfect as we ventured out to the most beautiful greek towns that are all in close perimeter to the hotel. there are always activities going on and you can get really involved it’s great. the manager of the hotel is always present and is lovely he welcomed us on the first night and we got some free drinks, and thanked us for staying when we left. we had the best week ever staying at this hotel and we would definitely recommend and would love to come back :)

During my stay, I found the bedroom to be quite nice. It was well-furnished, with comfortable bedding and a clean, modern aesthetic that made me feel at home. The decor was tasteful and the room was spacious enough to provide a relaxing environment after long working hours.

The beach, on the other hand, was absolutely stunning. It quickly became my favorite spot. Each morning, I would take a walk along the shoreline, enjoying the serene sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the gentle sea breeze. The sand was soft and the water clear, perfect for a quick swim to refresh myself before starting the day’s work. The sunsets at the beach were particularly breathtaking, providing a beautiful backdrop for winding down in the evening.

As for the food, it was alright. The menu had a decent variety, though it didn’t particularly stand out. Some dishes were quite enjoyable, while others were just satisfactory. It was sufficient to keep me fueled throughout my stay, but not particularly memorable.

Overall, my experience was positive, largely due to the pleasant accommodations and the stunning beach. The food might not have been exceptional, but the other aspects more than made up for it, making my working stay enjoyable.

We went on our holiday and we were staying for 5 days.
Going to start with Reception -staff great customer service they were helpful and you can get all the information if you needed.
Room - it was really hot and humid aircon, split system needs to be replaced with new one as the current one is out dated and also they has to be clean as not cleaned properly.
Bed sheets needs to be changed every day due to the weather is really hot.

Food-great Bravo, but staff non speaking English really not understanding what you are asking for and please smile more don't be rude with customers as they are paying your wages.No customers ,no job.

Beach- water crystal clear, but hard for old people to walk with all those stairs 😲 😱

We are just back from another wonderful holiday at Alexander the Great Beach Hotel. It is an excellent hotel set among a well-kept orchard beside the sea. We have been coming to Chalkidiki for many years and undoubtedly this is one of the most beautiful beaches with miles of fine white sand and crystal clear waters stretching far into the distance.
We stayed half board, and the food was excellent with a good mix, a very healthy Greek buffet breakfast including plenty of seasonal fresh fruits. The rest of the food was tasty, with an interesting variety of starters. The Adonis Taverna offers food à la carte, where every Tuesday was the Greek night with live music and everybody mingled into Greek dancing, a great atmosphere. The Rooftop bar with stunning views offered a variety of cocktails.
Overall, we love the place. The staff and managerial team are extremely friendly and will do everything to make your stay special. This is why we will be going back again.

Very nice place, feels like home when we are there. No animation, no beat music, just nature and birds that wake you up.. short walk to beach or by elevator. Food is fine although lots of changes and decreased offer from the corona period. Prices at the beach are ok. All in all, I love this place and will sure be there again.

Lovely hotel, great staff, restaurant like a canteen for food, they serve you but that suited us fine. Half board was more than enough for us. Little shop on site which was handy. The pool and bar area always clean and the staff were fab. Ice creams were delish! Lift to the beach bar and beach area has no issues unless you ignore the signs and let more than 4 people in at a time, or you don't close the door at either end. Just need to be thoughtful of other people. You don't want to walk up the steps. Trust me! lol. Food in the beach bar was great and not overpriced. Drinks were pretty dear unless drinking water.
We were in a room overlooking the garden, there was an issue with mould on the ceiling in the bathroom from where the air con was, you can see a huge damp patch in the bedroom, however, for the amount of time we were in the room we didn't complain. We were in a lovely spot with our own sunbeds and four poster sun loungers and had a lovely view to the sea.
