Kastro Guesthouse

Our stay was wonderful! The lady at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. We booked a budget room for one night, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spotless, the mattress was comfortable, and the entire place was peaceful and quiet.

The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the lake and close to the old town. Parking was also a breeze.

Breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of traditional options. The only suggestion I'd make is to include a few more savory items. Overall, a great experience!

My family and I loved our stay at Kastro Guesthouse! This hotel is one of the most amazing and romantic ones we've ever stayed at! The location is great - within less than 5 minutes one can reach the Castle of Ioannina and the city centre. The atmosphere in the hotel takes you back in time with all the small but beautiful interior design details. It is extremely clean and cosy with spacious rooms and great view to the cobble-stoned street surrounding the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and even made the exception of packing breakfast for us because we had to leave very early in the morning. We were touched and very satisfied with our stay and will definitely return!

Beautiful small hotel inside the castle of Ioannina. Hard to find a parking space close to the hotel. Big room with A/C nice comfy wc, nice breakfast in their garden. We enjoyed our stay.

Just perfect! The atmosphere is fantastic. The rooms are nice and clean. Above all, the hospitality is superb!!! The breakfast was amazing, since they provide a huge plate with many options with local tastes. The location is within few mins of walk from the center. Absolutely worthy choice!!!

Perfect choice for staying a few days in Ioannina. Our room on the first floor was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is a treat with many freshly prepared choices (no buffet and no nonsense)! The location inside the city walls is good for exploring the city on foot, yet driving there can be difficult at times. Definitely recommended!

We had a Superior room for 3 nights. Great location in the fortress and close to the restaurants and bars outside the walls. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, clean and well furnished. The breakfasts are excellent.
Only negatives are that the rooms have no balconies and there is no comfortable seating in the garden.

Great location, inside the wall and the old part of town. Near the silversmith museum and mosque. Nice sized room, very clean and updated. Parking pass allows you to park inside the walled city. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast included.
