Where to stay in Ioannina

Astonishing hotel with great surroundings, offers all the amenities and services, but it's 10km from city center, in a city where most suburbs end in a range 4 to 5 kilometers from the center

Lovely place. Great spa facility. Pool was closed off fir my 3 days there. Service at the Pool bar was sporadic. Ok if lots of people there but very kacking if only 1 or 2.

The hotel was very cozy and the staff were polite. I also really enjoyed the spa services. One thing I did not like was that they didn't have a place for our clothes to dry.

I have been here about one year ago and i was a little bit dissapoint abot 5 stars.. to much noisy by students and very confused Breakfast was very good

The best hotel in Greece. I had a great experience. The spa was very relaxing, the food was delicious and the interior of the rooms is awesome. I am really looking forward to visiting this place again.

The best hotel to visit if you want something magical and very clean. Is a magical place that you can walk  into and the people is very  very friendly with everybody that goes there. Also the rooms is extremely clean. The breakfast is very big and good. I will go again for sure in my next trip there and I recommended go everyone.

Nice place. Small, cute but as well as cold. In the rainy days there is really cold and you can't stay with a thin-jacket. Perhaps, it may about climate conditions. Lastly, employees doesn't smile, they was looking as if doesn't want us.

The new section was very nice.. very up market compared to the other half of the hotel we stayed in room No 612 ...breakfast was the basic..ie cake.. meat.. bread..good location..noisey outside...we had a problem there ... room No 613 was at it like bunnies at 3am...not that we cared only until the couple were houling attended reception who said the had nothing to offer...as it was getting heated...

Our stay was perfect! The room was amazing, so spacious and cosy. The bed was super comfortable! The hotel is nice with a nice pool. The breakfast has one of the biggest selections I’ve ever seen! The staff was thoughtful, super kind and very helpful. They gave us fantastic suggestions too! The only thing is, if you want to use the spa make sure you book it in advance! It is not in the centre of town...

Nice place in the mountains. There is a Spa. The rooms are large and nice view.For Breakfast lots of good food.But there are also disadvantages. We stayed for only one night but was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very nice, clean, modern and there is a nice gym and pool.

Very nice place , cozy with very kind and available staff . Owner put you immediately at ease. For anything you can count on them. Modern, comfortable and warm room . In the morning you can't be in-satisfay from breackfast , riched and varied . Finally the strategic position allow you to achieved very the center and the university in few minutes .

This hotel in in the city centre, has parking and cheap prices. But it is old, needs urgent refurnished, it does not have a hairdryer and has problems du to its age.

Great location less than ten minutes walk from the lake and right in the heart of the restaurants and bars.The bus station is a ten minute walk and the hotel has its own underground parking free for guests.Economical clean rooms with good air-conditioning,a fridge and decent sized bathroom and also a small balcony.Just the ticket!

Hotel egnatia is placed at central spot near the centre of the city it is not renovated but it is clean and close to the market It’s possible to leave the car in the local underground parking after informing the hotel , prices are low

It's like from the 90s or 80s but I like this atmosphere. Rooms are very clean, the location is good, water is hot and wi-fi works great. For this price it's veeery good

Great price for the service. Great location. Most other needed service within walking distance (nail, hair, massage, face treatments, shopping, restaurants, banks etc) Courteous front desk service helpful with general info, relaxed about leaving a day earlier than expected. Would recommend for couples too!

Clean, renovated, airconditioned. Polite service. I was surprised by the good quality of the breakfast despite its symbolic price. You will need a car as it is placed outside the city (but close enough). Value for money. I think its ideal for groups, business trips, short stayers. Very happy overall. Tip: call before you book online, you might get a better deal

Odd location,good breakfast but noisy fans on air condition makes it a ...never again . Had to turn off a/c to be able to sleep.

Hotel is just outside the city and has great views of the lake. Had a very large balcony. Easy to park in streets around the hotel. The check In and check out was easy. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Water in the morning was only warm with little water pressure. I would recommend purely as it’s easy to find parking

Beautiful, clean and neat rooms. The beds are comfortable, and there is a nice terrace. There's a whole little kitchen in the room! The prices are favorable. The door to the shower cabin was broken and that is the only complaint. I highly praise the exceptionally friendly young receptionist!

Great location, clean, good service, private parking, small room and bathroom, sometimes a smell from drains (it is a problem of the city center), beware of the mosquitos if you leave the window open in summer. Value for money.

Our room was spotless and we were provided with parking. The breakfast was tasty, quite a few things to choose from but i can't say i was amazed. Pretty normal stuff. The staff was nice.

Comfortable if slightly small room in the heart of the city's entertainment centre. Free indoor parking and a comfortable Queen sized bed. Breakfast is a disappointment, but not horrible.

The personnel in all posts are professionals and polite. It is noteworthy that the rooms are everyday cleaned up and arranged. Excellent food served during our stay in the hotel.

Good AC!! Great pool with poolside bar serving great selection of hot meals and salads. A bit remote for walking, overlooking the airport and lagoon - but a taxi can take you straight to the door!

Nice and quiet hotel either for business or personal trips. Spacious and quiet rooms lead to a pleasant stay. Within easy walking distance from the city castle (15-20 mins.). Not a 4 star spa hotel. No insulation. Next room when they were booking in were so loud I had to go out to the hallway to inform them. They were polite and tried to remain quiet. The general feel of the hotel is nice but the basement rooms are surely not the best. The laundry room, right next door makes quite a bit of noise during the day. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Mattress is really nice and the linen is clean

The overall experience was good, but the hotel is remote, rooms maintenance can be better. Not sure if there are better options in Ioannina, but this hotel is nothing but fair.

Liked the room, bed was great, lovely location and views from hotel facilities. Breakfast was wonderful and breakfast room had exceptional views of the city and lake. Staff were wonderful, especially George from the breakfast room was amazing. Planned our day touring the area for us.

Nice rooms, although a bit old. The double rooms have a great big balcony. The quadruple room is not huge but fits 4 kids (low ceiling as it's basically the attic floor). Breakfast is simple but decent. Pool is very nice addition, the kids loved it. Receptionist (Georgina) is very very kind and attentive for any request. Big supermarket (My Market) just next door so it's very convenient.

Great hotel at the suburbs of Ioannina! The question of rooms is too diverse to discuss (huge rooms with comfortable beds, but with electric sockets falling out of the wall and half of the lightbulbs not working). The convenience of location depends on your goals. However, the service beats everything - amazing, smiling, helpful, bilingual (at least). The place is recommended for sure!

Came here to visit the pool. A bit pricey in my opinion (4e pool entry fee + 4e the mandatory drink) plus they didnt want to clean the pool of insects and leaves when i asked them to, making it terribly dirty. Environment was super nice though.
