Meteora Hotel at Kastraki

This hotel is a hidden gem. The views are absolutely stunning—some of the best I’ve seen. Staff were friendly and genuinely accommodating. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms recently updated, and while the beds weren’t the most plush, I still slept well after a long day of exploring. The breakfast with the most amazing view was a standout: Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, and hot options, plus delicious lattes to start the morning right. As a bonus, there is a pool to relax in while taking in the view. I would return in heartbeat. As for location, it’s about a 20-minute walk to restaurants in Kastraki and just a quick taxi ride to central Kalambaka. The hotel is happy to call a taxi for you, and taxis are easy to find in town—we paid less than 5 euros per ride.

We went as a church group. The inside was nice, the rooms were alright. Bed was a little small for me. It was like sleeping on a pallet. The view was stunning and the swimming pool great. As a vegetarian there were enough choices for me to choose from. Everyone was nice and accommodating.

Second time we stayed as this hotel because we liked it so much 9 years ago. Very nice luxury hotel with very spacious impressive reception area and spacious rooms with terraces with a magnificent view on the Meteora mountains. We had a family room this time with two separate bedrooms ( without doors that could be closed, but it did not bother us). The swimming pool has the same view, but a bit too cold to have a swim in October 😜. The bubble bath in the room made up for that! Walking distance to the town. Breakfast buffet offered a large choice of Greek and western items. Love it here!

A nice hotel in Meteora. Rooms are nice inside and most of them have a great view in Meteora. They have free waters and a coffee machine providing new cups every day. I would definitely like to see more effort regarding detailed cleaning. The breakfast was nice with a good variety of food but nothing special. The swimming pool area is very nice but the swimming pool needs to be cleaned in many places. Definitely a place to recommend at the end of the day. Friendly stuff! 😉

Great view. Friendly staff. Breakfast with different Greek cakes. Sit outside in the evening with a cool breeze while looking at the mountains slowly changing colour.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views!!!!!!! The staff is charming and helpful. If you need help finding a restaurant for lunch or dinner, they have one or feel free to ask the receptionist :) There’s an amazing and diversified breakfast with homemade pastries. It’s very clean. The pool is a bonus! We highlyyyy recommend it!!!
