Would I stay here again knowing what I know? No. Would I recommend to a friend? No. We stayed 2 nights at the Edelweiss as part of a tour package- so the hotel was not picked by me. It was very old and yucky. Our room needed a deep clean. There were stains on things from past visitors that had not entirely been cleaned. The hotel has a pool but does not have pool tools for free - a 2€ charge per towel. There were no glasses in our room. No ice is available for you to have in your room. Breakfast was included. Not even close to a good buffet hotel breakfast but I found a couple things to eat. If you found my review helpful please let me know by giving me a thumbs up

Two Stars because the Room was at least clean and the view from the Balkony was nice but everything was very very old, beds hard, no good atmosphere. Staff was also Not very friendly.

A simple and functional hotel. For the reasonable price you get a clean and quiet room right in the center of Kalambaka. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely sufficient for a short stay. If you're lucky you will get a room with the view of the hills.

Friendly personell, great Breakfast (7Euro), very good room with nice balcony facing Meteora. Good bed.

Only good thing is the location and the view, bathrooms are dirty and we had cockroaches in our room and in the hallways

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a bath tube. The breakfast was a buffet with a great variety of foods. The receptionists and the waiter were kind and helpful. Special thanks to Regina from the reception. We had an excellent stay at the hotel and would always come back again there.

The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries. 100% recommended.

We had little choice as the Meteora tour was added late in the planning process. Thankfully, it was only one night. Cons: The room was old, not that clean and the bed was horrible. The shower head sprayed everywhere and there was no way to contain the mess. Our driver had a similar experience in his room. The entire hotel needs updating. Pros: Location is perfect, the woman at the front desk (can't remember her name but she is from New Jersey) was super nice and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. The room had an enormous balcony but due to our short stay, we did not get much use.
