Rio Hotel

Best place in kardamena, family run. Beautiful family that can't do enough for you. So friendly. Food is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need it's here 🇬🇷🇬🇷❤️. Anna is so friendly. Our little son (albi) and daughter (sophia) love her. Which makes the experience even better. 🇬🇷🇬🇷❤️

The Rio Hotel, also known as the Pub, is a really excellent simple hotel. We stayed there last year and loved it, but since then a lot has been updated. The showers were great, good pressure and a proper shower cubicle. Loo paper can go down the toilet. Mattresses are deep and comfortable. The AC worked well and was quiet. The rooms are a decent size and are equipped with a kettle, and cooking facilities for those wanting to self cater. Only slight down was the small very public balcony. The hotel is family run, and not surprisingly this means excellent and friendly service. The Pub part is a bar and restaurant , and hotel guests get a discount. We breakfasted there each day, but ate other meals by the sea. The Pub does have big screens and Sky sports, but the sound on those is kept low. It is a five minute walk from the Rio to the harbour and the sandy beach, down an almost pedestrian only street lined with bars and shops. We have just moved to a very expensive hotel in Kos town, and think many of the Rio’s facilities were much better. Hopefully we will be returning to the Rio next year.

Brilliant hotel.Good location and kept spotlessly clean.Owners and family were lovely.Only had one breakfast there as I tend to eat later in the day but it was lovely.First time to a Greek Island on my own but would definitely return and recommend these apartments xxx

Absolutely first class! spotless, well run, great food, drinks and service. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding every three days, free safety deposit box in room, fridge freezer, Air con, plenty storage no complaints about anything. Everything anyone could want for the best holiday we will be going back to the same apartments next year thank you

Superbly located. Fantastic strong hot shower. Very clean. Vasillis was a marvellous host, very friendly and really helpful with information. Room was cleaned every day. It is situated above 'The Pub' that they also run which is a fab venue. Everyone so friendly and hospitable, a lovely team of people. There are mosquito screens outside your patio doors and these provide excellent sound proofing. Will definitely be back.

now this is a great place,m not to expensive, but large very comfortable rooms, very clean, like new, everything is perfect and works, well done, great beds ( my room had 2), moskitonet, nobody has that, soundproofing works, this is the city nevertheless.

Rio Hotel is perfectly located in the village of Kardamaina, the rooms are extremely clean and have everything you need for your time away. The owners are wonderful, and are available to help with any questions or recommendations you need. I will definitely be staying at the Rio Hotel for my next visit to Kos.

Amazing! Me ny partner and our little girl stayed last week and I couldn’t praise the place anymore than I already have. It’s so clean and the rooms are spacious. The location cannot be beaten and the staff are friendly and attentive in the hotel. Massive thank you for looking after us to Vasili and his family. We will be back. Riley, Chelsey and Lilah.

Love this hotel and The Pub next door . Feels like visiting family they are so friendly . Nice clean rooms and local to beach and shops . We will definitely be back .
