She, with the guy with the glasses in the lobby, the lady who is doing the pita breads on the beach and the lovely old Greek at the entrance of the restaurant are SMILING. I have noticed that a lot of others are not

I really enjoyed the pools as well but be careful the floor/sides are gritty like sandpaper can graze yourself very easily! The main restaurant buffet isn't bad but it isn't amazing none of the cooked meats were seasoned and food was always a little overcooked

Perfect holiday destination to just relax, eat, drink and drink. Food was amazing, entertainment was amazing and the staff were just so helpful and friendly. Looking at my next holiday at another Mitsis resort!!!

We recently stayed at the hotel in September and initially were very disappointed with our room (418). It was dated and grubby and not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber

Been here twice now, and it is good. The rooms are spacious, and the pools are clean. Since my first visit in 2018, the food and drink has gone downhill. The beers and cocktails available tasted very poor.

This is an all-inclusive hotel that rates 4 real world stars depending on where you are standing. The food is great, with loads of variety, and the restaurant staff are great, but a little over stretched

The hotel is amazing, the rooms clean and tidy, and the beds are so comfy with the most fluffiest pillows. The staff are friendly and helpful

The resort hosts weddings and there can be an influx of guests which means the bar in the lobby can get quite busy, one extra person on the bar would make a bit difference, or provide some self service drinks in the lobby like they do elsewhere on the resort

The basic rooms are OK but a bit dated, I'd recommend upgrading your room if you're going to stay here, however the overall resort is very nice and modern, everyone is very friendly and the buffet is good

The Greek restaurant on site is excellent and would highly recommend booking this when you arrive as it gets booked up quick, the Italian restaurant is also very good

Baba and the entertainment team were excellent, always something going on and providing a great atmosphere

The all inclusive ice cream van by the pool is a nice touch

Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Animation team were good and tried to get everyone involved. Pool was OK although it was salt water. Beds available round the pool. Staff were also friendly and always helpful

Kardamaina town is a 20min walk along the beach or a 5 min drive

All staff were so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they helped with all enquiries to the best of their ability, the reception staff Kosta and Alexandra was very helpful and the bar staff Sam and Ken were really friendly and they treated guests like their friends meaning that they could have a laugh with you while also being very polite and efficient

best hotel, best place on the kos, we love this places, in this hotel is very good food and staffs, thera are animation programs and night showtime, pool is good, sea is very very very clear, hotel room is clear, and we were here for 4 time and we will come back next year

During our stay, a number of our party became unwell with a possible stomach virus. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is in a very pleasant location, overlooking the sea and very close to the beach

Sam from the bar worked so hard and always had a smile on his face. He was so friendly and is a credit to the hotel. Chico from the entertainment team again was friendly and got everyone up and involved

Wi-Fi is provided and works in almost all areas of the hotel, which was really convenient. The beach is also just across the entrance, so it’s really easy to pop over whenever you want

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, and honestly, it was the most gorgeous and peaceful place I’ve ever stayed at. The staff were incredible, everyone was so friendly and helpful

You can also get pizza as a snack during the day The BBQ Den we pre booked this one before our holiday. Not as fun as I thought it would be but interesting to cook my own food

The a la carte restaurants are beautiful with good food. It's a big hotel, yet it feels like a big home- because the workers make you feel like they konw you for a long time

We received a fruit platter it was nice but would have liked some savoury items. You get the gazebo for 3 hours but due to the heat we didn’t stay the duration. Pools Infinity pools No sun loungers after 9am

This is a 5* hotel with attentive service, fabulous rooms and the food in the buffet and the Al a Carte restaurants we tried were excellent especially, the Dusk Pan Asian

A live food section which offers different options but all the food is well cooked and compared to other all inclusive resorts is very good. Staff in the restaurant are great and clear your table very quickly

Entertainment A wide variety of activities for all age groups throughout the day and night. The holiday village staff are amazing and work so hard to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves

The local town is around 6 minutes away on foot and has its own beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is a 10 minute transfer from the airport which is great after a 4 hour flight

There is also some specialty restaurants which are very nice too. There is a wide range of all inclusive drinks plus a pizza, sandwich and ice cream area which you can help yourself to

Pools Lots of pools for all ages, they are cold but I am a wimp and I can still get in them! Plenty of sunbeds all with parasols and all close to the bar, toilets and restaurant

Just came back from a great week at Akti Palace. Arrived mid evening to a glass of Prosecco, the staff were very welcoming. We had a deluxe suite, it was very large and modern

Another plate contained tomato, cucumber and feta cheese Then came another course of lobster tail, scallap and red cabbage. Only problem was that I had no clue how to eat the lobster

On the plus side , today I was given a bigger room with a sea view and most importantly a bathtub

By this time I had lost interest in the whole Greek fish meal experience, so much so that I walked out of the restaurant and went back to the main buffet restaurant where I was guaranteed to get a good meal

Very likely I will cancel my bookings for the Chinese restaurant and Asian meal restaurant, I don’t want to have the same feeling. Again , maybe a wrong choice but my heart tells me it is the right choice

just back from a 2 week family holiday, 2 adults, 1 teenager a 14 year old boy, very relaxing & very chilled, the rooms were a decent size although the bathroom needed an upgrade, balcony a good size, beds were very comfortable & the cleaners were in everyday the kids pool was decent but a bit too much going on for us so we spent most of our time by the main pool which was excellent, no sunbed olympics...

Lacking premium whiskey and ciders, but we will survive I'm happy to see Costa and Jiani again in the bars, some new faces, like the bar manager, who is always complaining and screaming at the staff in front of the long queues every night, not good

The entertainment team is always top-notch and very active. Christos and the new restaurant manager are always there to solve any issues. The drinks are good, I've already been in other hotels with the same cocktails

For those who complain about the inappropriate stars of this hotel, I tell them that if you wanna feel posh, you have to dig deeper in your pocket 😉 Once again back at home

I had a deep tissue massage with Panos, it's the best massage I've ever had, I would say go for it.. the therapist is professional, he made me feel comfortable from the first moment.

Special mention goes to Nicholas and his team down at the beach bar they are absolutely fabulous, we have spent most days on the beach and the team have been absolutely amazing, they really look after you and have fun as well

Bungalow with the sea view was nice, all the time clean thanks to the perfect cleaning service. We can discuss what does it mean sea view but we were satisfied. Our experience with the food was also relatively good

The Hotel is amazing and clean but the staff are what make this hotel so great. Reception are so helpful you get a cold towel and fresh lemonade on arrival, nice touch. The porters are so helpful and kind

The pools are big with many and kind lifeguards! Delicious coffee every day from the kind Fotini, and the best good morning from Elizabeth the host of the breakfast

A small hotel just by the sea(kind of private beach), five minutes drive to Kardamaina, spacious and comfortable room (the studio) includes coffee machine and good quality bed linens and towels:)

This is exactly what we were looking for and if you're looking for a self service type of accommodation, this is probably the best on Kos when you factor in the private beach, distance to dining, the airport and other attractions

It is a rare place across Europe where you have your private beach. You won't need any parasols because there are huge trees just on the beach. The rooms are expressly spacious and there are enough equipments to cook

Literally right next to the beach, it's a 30 second walk there and the hotel has sun beds out around some of the trees just in front of the beach. The room is spacious with air conditioning and everything we want

The barman Panos comes down regularly, you pay him €6 for 2 sun beds and an umbrella and he brings you 2 soft drinks or coffee (his frappe’s were the best) We enjoyed our chats with the staff and our geography lessons on the beach from Panos and Valeria telling us all about the Greek islands and Eda always wanting to chat to make sure we were having a good time

We stayed four nights at Kalimera Mare. The hotel was excellent, very clean and well maintained gardens and pool area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble

Cosmos on reception is a lovely man who’s English is amazing, always loved predicting what our meal choice was going to be and nearly always got it right… You can walk in to Kardamena along the coastal road, it took us around 40mins or you can get the bus from right outside the hotel

Buses available to Kardamena, approx 30 minutes away, where you can also pick up other buses to, say, Kos town. Very relaxing holiday, will definitely return

We hired a car which the hotel arranged for us to collect and drop off in the hotel car park. Our room had a sea view, a fridge, kitchen sink, hairdryer and a good rang of toiletries

Central Location , daily cleaned rooms, friendly and helpfull owners, proper prices for the service you get .What else can you ask for ? Highly Recomended.

It was nice and quiet, a short distance from the airport but just a few minutes walk from the main square and beach. Room was nice and clean with cooking facilities and a fridge

There isn't a pool attached to the apartments but one for use near by. Good value for money Natasha was very kind and friendly

There is a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer in the room. Out balcony was massive with a pull out drying rack for towels etc. There is a small pool with pool bar, breakfast is served there

We didn't use the pool as we love the beach. Also a bar inside which opens in the evenings. Jimmy/ Demetrius makes great cocktails! Brothers George and David who own the hotel are very friendly and great hosts

It's quite small but has lots of storage space for your clothes, shoes etc and plenty of hangers. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed with a handy cupboard under the sink for all your toiletries

Breakfast is a basic buffet, but its good enough, but you can buy a cooked breakfast if you wish. There's a small supermarket across the road, where we got our water for our fridge

Staff are so so helpful and friendly. The rooms are great size and spotless. Pre warning had to pay for aircon but we didn’t mind. Would return here and highly recommend it

Stayed here from 28/06/2024 to 09/07/2024. The room was spotless, spacious and very modern. We stayed in the Deluxe room with a spa on the outside balcony

There are 3 cleopatra hotels in 5min walking distance that can be used. Also discount at 1960 bar, Alma restaurant. Great location easy walk to beach, town and supermarket. Snorkeling near sunbeam restaurant is great

It maybe not listed as 5 star, but the staff and people make it. From Georgina ( and her son) , Tina, Andreas and Anna made our holiday a joy. We wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is clean and well kept

Good sized room, cleaned daily. A few minutes from the beach where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Loved the pool and there was no shortage of sun beds. Already looking to rebook for next year

In the heart of Kardemena this hotel is one of a group of three Cleopatra Hotels. The staff are happy to help with No problem too small. The barmen work there socks off day and night serving the thirsty masses

The Continental Breakfast is enough to keep you going to late afternoon / early evening. If you choose this hotel for your stay you will not be dissappointed

Balcony room does provide an amazing view of the Ageon sea, balcony are is a bit small, as the aircon unit occupies a part of it, lovely none the less

we are planning on going next year to. the greek night was a great night. this is the only hotel we have stayed in which as free aircon. which was needed with the great weather we had while we was there

stayed at the mitsis blue domes hotel. 4 of us walked into kardamena about 3 times in the week. we stopped at mammis beach hotel for drinks because its about half way between blue domes and kardamena

Everything was perfect! The food is very nice, the rooms are spacious and very clean! The sun beds are really comfortable and the hotel is next to the beach! I recommend it!!

The rooms do not look like the ones promissed on Booking. The bathrooms are old and look really bad. There is a good variety of food for breakfast but it does get boring during a 7 day stay

The staff are nice and friendly and the wifi is strong. The entire island kept having power outages and the hotel doesn't have a backup generator so there was no electricity in the hotel

Pool was great and big sunbeds could do with being updated as a bit uncomfortable but food was excellent and so were all the staff very friendly , lovely view from the balcony could even see the sea! Very central and great location also handy it has a 24hour bar, would stay here again

We have to say what an amazing hotel this is! We have been coming to kardamena for many years and have done the all inclusives but this self catering hotel is excellent! Some may say it’s a bit basic but when you go on holiday to enjoy your self’s not staying in the room then this is great the rooms was clean and tidy with a toaster hob etc for cooking and a kettle

It’s well located in kardamena so a short Walk to the beach and shops and restaurants witch made our 13th holiday in kardamena the best so we will be booking again with elga next year 👌

Very central to all amenities. Pool area very clean and chilled atmosphere. Rooms basic as you would expect from a 2 star in Greece. Air con 70 euros for the week, but it worked well

The pool is excellent for the family with all the staff so helpful and naturally nice people

Safety deposit box was 35 euros for the week
