I visited this hotel with my girlfriend this October. We wanted something to help us relax and unwind, which is exactly what we got since it wasn't too crowded at the time we went. The service was impeccable, and the food—from breakfast to dinner—was incredible with plenty of options to suit all tastes! The view and the amenities were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. I believe that if I had the option to visit Zakynthos again, this hotel would definitely be one of my top choices for accommodation!
Lastly, the room we stayed in was very beautiful and satisfying both in size and amenities, but there was some confusion with the switches and outlets.

a really fine hotel. the rooms are lovely we were with are adult daughter and had a room with two large bedrooms and a large bathroom. there was a big balcony with side sea view. the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. right on the beach with entertainment every evening.... I would highly recommend Galaxy beach hotel

Great location, clean rooms, food ok. Staff are brilliant, but a special shout to Daniela who was working the beach bar. What a beautiful, hard working, respectful engaging young lady who deserves the recognition for her efforts. She made our holiday. What a pleasure to spend time with this lady - she alone would make us want to come back to both Galaxy and Laganas. What a treasure you have there. Best wishes from 2 ladies from , UK

Good holiday but we have had money stolen from the room by the cleaners. We reported it to the hotel reception and got no resolution.
The roof top bar had amazing views and the location was right on the sea front.

Amazing holiday overall. Hotel is brilliant with amazing food every morning, afternoon and evening! (Whenever you want really if all inclusive). Bedrooms are clean, tidy and what you need. Staff are brilliant, always so helpful and friendly. Location is ON on the beach! From pool to the sea will take you 20 seconds to walk. Activities are all great and live music each night.

We were disappointed with the fact that you need to pay €20.00 for a sun bed on the beach whilst being a hotel guest. Also, it’s very common to pay a deposit for a safe key but the hotel wanted us to pay €20.00 charge! The food was often cold. For us it’s been too little space around the pool as of course, nobody wanted to pay for the sun beds at the beach. The beds were comfortable, hotel room was good, airconditioning worked well.

Well...it was our 2nd stay here and we are planning on the 3rd one...and it could be the end of this opinion :-)
As for details - this is not the best hotel I've been to. This not the cleanest hotel, not most luxury, not top class food and not so on...
However, this is the most convenient hotel I used to stay at. Everything here is right in the place it should be. Want to swim in the pool or in the sea? Go ahead, they are both right there. Want to take a break from your children - just send them to one of two playgrounds and sip your drink just watching them. Want to enjoy the sunset? Just take a seat at the roof bar. Want to eat dinner at the table with sea view - just take seat. Want to go for a party in some high class night club? It's just 10 minutes walk away.
All this combined with helpful staff and Greek summer which truly is a state of mind, make a great combination of a place worth going to :-)

I was at the Galaxy beach resort from 04.09 to 11.09.2021. This is the worst hotel I've ever been. The hotel in my opinion is max 3 * not 5 *. Only the beach is 5 *. Interior is old and cheap. Worn sheets and towels with holes.The food is monotonous and tasteless. The refrigerator in the room is empty. There is not even a bottle of water in the room. Bad Wifi.There was a constant noise of ventilation on the terrace.
The staff is friendly, but this cannot compensate for the poor management.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 👎

There is only one positive thing to say - hotel is located just on the bank of the sea which is great. But there are way more negative sides. Hotel supposedly is 5 star (wonder which scale are they using though ...) but it's definitely not worth more than 3. Interior is old-fashioned (so so 90's), and devastated. Towels which were once white now are grey and have ragged edges because they are so ancient old. Probably still using the same towels from 1975 when the hotel opened. Food is tasteless and boring, mostly meat, very few veggie options. Kids were eating pizza and french fries all damn week 😩 Room we stayed in was so small that we could barely go round the bed. Pillow cover had stains on it. I would really advise against choosing this hotel.
