Stunning hotel, fantastic staff and wonderful location. Travelling with dietary requirements isn't always easy but the staff are clued up and happy to help. Out of the way from crowded and touristy Laganas, ILIOS is a calm couples' retreat in walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. After staying 8 days in Sep/Oct 24, I'd recommend it as a cozy alternative to being in the midst of the Laganas neon landscape. The hotel has the great and helpful staff. The room was clean and modern. We had view right on the sea. Right from the hotel are stairs to the sea. Breakfast was fresh with a lot of options.

Mixed feelings about the hotel. The location is great and that helps them very much, vlose to the sea and a high view. But apart from that its a little strange. We spent a week at Denise Beach Hotel and it was absolutely dreamy! The staff is kind and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied! If you want a hotel on the sea dude, then this is it. Cannot imagine anything else when looking for quick access to water. Employees were more than helpful and kind and, overall, more than friendly. Compared with the Majestic which was allegedly a four star hotel the difference was clear! We were greeted by the staff offered complimentary drinks which was a nice touch! The staff were warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us and even made breakfast after the time had gone! Clean place and nice staff. Breakfast good. The rooms small. You can not stay in the rooms without courtain otherwise people in front can see you (the distance between buildings is about 3m) so you can not have any privacy.

We stayed on Tzante for 1 week,amazing cocktails,the rooms are comfy with a lot of space and very clean. Stayed here in June for a girls holiday and we couldn’t fault it. The rooms were clean and the pool area was very nice, the staff were also lovely. Obviously it’s cheap so it’s not going to be perfect but it was great for us. We were blessed with having our room right near the place where the cleaning staff hold their things and almost every morning starting 7am we heard the squeaky noises from their carts. We had the chance to spend a couple of night in that hotel. Our room was clean and tidy, the staff friendly and the food delicious! The manager, Nikos, help us several times with how to reach the sightseeing and where to try the best local food. Would definitely recommend to stay there!

Nice experience, for the price we pay the hotel is very nice, I had a double room with a sea view, the beach is 1 mn by walking, the pool clean and always empty and restaurant bars and shops are close to the hotel, staff was kind also! I recommend for nightlife lovers as Laganas is not very calm !!

California Beach Hotel is a nice hotel with friendly staff and a great swimming pool. It's a few hundred meters from the bar strip and very close to the beach. Had a great time here.

I can't comment on other rooms but the superior one I had was top notch and I can't complain. Hotel is a brilliant set up with different sections of pools for adults, families and superior rooms. Food is decent and plenty of it and a good selection. Staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel was absolutely spotless. If I am ever returning to laganas I will definitely return to the margarita.

Great quiet location with friendly staff, choice of sunbathing areas and pools to use. Rooms in the main block are tired and dated and in need of an overhaul. The all inclusive policy was the worst I’ve encountered. We ate out quite a bit too, enough said.
