Hotel in great location onto the sea front

Our own hotel were very mean and we had to check out at the morning while the transfer left at night! So this hotel let us pay for only a lunch buffet and then we could spend the whole day by this pool, but things and eat the buffet

The service was great, the personalle was helpufull and nice, we had good and quality food, with options for every taste. The location, outstanding, right on the beach. It was also very clean, towels were changed daily

could do with coffee/tea making facilities in the room ,Food very much catered for German people and not a lot for children ,a lot of people pushing in queues and taking food out of restaurant,beach front location which is really good

Owner aggressively arguing with staff by the pool cafe as soon as we arrived which we found horrendous and very unprofessional as paying customers don’t want to hear this whilst on their holidays to relax ,hotel very basic 3 star

Signs should be put up notifying payment for where to payfor sun beds around the hotel and pool area. Not just some women turn up asking for money

Like an oasis in the busy Laganas area. We were looking for a hotel from where we could explore the island. We found that the staff went out of their way to help us and handled our every request kindly and promptly

The location of the hotel is very good. The rooms are nice and clean, but we had a very, very bad smell in the bathroom sometimes and this was very bothering. The pool is clean and the water was perfect

Pool bar is great and there is a jacuzzi above the pool which when on makes a little waterfall down the the pool which is a nice touch

We stayed for 7 nights at this lovely hotel on a bed & breakfast basis. Absolutely no complaints, breakfast was great and served in a lovely area in the garden

A lovely hotel 🏨 it's about a 30 minute walk to the main *****. The rooms are basic but adequate. The decking around the pool needs some work on it. There is a good choice at breakfast time

There is a hairdryer but it’s fixed inside the bathroom. Just a heads-up: as with most places in Zante, toilet paper doesn’t go down the loo, so nappy sacks or doggy bags are handy if you prefer a bit of privacy

Nice experience, for the price we pay the hotel is very nice, I had a double room with a sea view, the beach is 1 mn by walking, the pool clean and always empty and restaurant bars and shops are close to the hotel, staff was kind also! I recommend for nightlife lovers as Laganas is not very calm !!

Super friendly staff, family run, and family friendly. Went there with my wife and daughter and had a great time. It has a great pool and is right on the beach so you get the best of both worlds!

California Beach Hotel is a nice hotel with friendly staff and a great swimming pool. It's a few hundred meters from the bar strip and very close to the beach. Had a great time here.

For me,panagiotis maroudas the night auditor and the receptionist from zakynthos,Mrs Anna( I think this is her name,I m not referring to the girl from Australia) ,These 2 people are offering a golden service in the greek tourism

Mrs Anna (the receptionist)and panagiotis belong for sure in the golden pages of tourism. The breakfast was splendid,rich,including a wide variety of morning goods. the place lagana is like in heaven

They are kind,polite to us,they have offered the best service possible and during our stay they tried to help us the best way they could

The pool looked refreshing, but we preferred driving to other beaches

Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best holiday. Food is amazing, varied and great quality. Very close to the beach but not disturbed by the noise from the trip. I honestly can’t fault anything

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at club zante plaza. We could not recommend this hotel more highly. 10/10 for room size, facilities, cleanliness and location to the beach

Had a lovely week at club zante plaza. Room was a good size, pool wasn't to bad. Food was amazing, something to choose from every day

We stayed here the last week of October. Everything outside was closed or in the process of closing for the season, but this was no issue for us as it was an all inclusive package

I was able to watch a funeral from the room in private. Local bus to go into town, but we took a taxi which cost €15. Pool area had plenty of sun loungers and chairs

The apartments are near the busy nights spots but we were not disturbed by any noise - the beach is nearby and the quieter Kalamaki beach is not far away

I also had time to spend on the beach and walking etc. I could not have been made more welcome and came home feeling relaxed

I appreciate its close to the end of the season but we were paying the same price as people that did have access to the pool earlier in the season etc

A lovely apartment - beautifully decorated and with everything you need for your holiday. Antonio, Effe, and Andrianna are the lovliest hosts and made me feel so welcome. I had a weeks stay here on a cookery holiday

We could not have been made more welcome and came home feeling rested 😀 Whilst the apartments dont have a pool and are near the busy night spots - the beach is nearby and the calmer part of the town easy to get to

Upon arriving at the apartments we noticed that the swimming pool was not in use no doubt due to it being near end of season but this was not pointed out to us. Also the safe was an additional charge to use when we asked

Every 3 days the sheets/towels were changed. Rooms with odd numbers have a very nice garden view. Very close to the best parts of the beach. There is no wi-fi in the rooms

WiFi works mostly in the reception area. Location is excellent, close to Laganas beach, and far from the noisier part of Laganas. If you need a no-frills place to stay in Laganas, I recommend it

Breakfast was included - even though it is simple: bread, 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, jam, butter, coffee/tea, juice and fruit, it is enough to keep you full until lunch, and the quality is good

We chose this accomodation as part of a vacation agency offer. Everything was exactly as we expected. Rooms were clean, amenities good enough for a week of sleep and rest

Location is ON on the beach! From pool to the sea will take you 20 seconds to walk. Activities are all great and live music each night

the rooms are lovely we were with are adult daughter and had a room with two large bedrooms and a large bathroom. there was a big balcony with side sea view. the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent

Top hotel in Zakynthos was really good place just in front of the beach and delicious food. Staffs are professional and top-class hospitality. Especially the manager is quality service for customers.

Good holiday but we have had money stolen from the room by the cleaners. We reported it to the hotel reception and got no resolution. The roof top bar had amazing views and the location was right on the sea front.

The restaurant/bar manager Alaexander and his staff was amazing friendly and helpful. Every day met us with smile and big greetings. We stayed in September for 7 days and every day was an amazing services

Our two girls loved the attention from the restaurant staff :) Receptionist was amazing friendly and helpful with all queries. Generally all staff in this hotel was super friendly

Food was delicious and had good few choices every day. I would except to eat more Greek food , but the food was more international but anyway the food was delicious

Things that we are suggesting to the hotel: -more space for the clothes in the rooms -put signs to the bar area about guests are not allowed in the bar with wet clothes (it wasn't obvious) Summing up the experience, we had a lovely time! Staff was very friendly and helpful, nice cocktails made at the bar and the hotel’s driver was a cool guy with high guide-potential! We enjoyed both laying at the pool and at the small beach below the hotel as we like tranquility during the day

the hotel beach is small but very nice. the food and bar are very good! the only thing that could be better is the breakfast, a few things weren’t fresh. and the bathroom water was not always working properly

Stunning location with panoramic views right on the beach. Staff are lovely although service is slow in restaurant. Receptionists are so friendly. Food is average but the vista makes up for it

Cozy and calm Although the hotel is in need of some serious repairs on the common areas and is clearly undergoing renovations on rooms (there is a mix of old and new) we really liked the vibe at the hotel

The hotel has the great and helpful staff. The room was clean and modern. We had view right on the sea. Right from the hotel are stairs to the sea. Breakfast was fresh with a lot of options.

We spent a week at Denise Beach Hotel and it was absolutely dreamy! The staff is kind and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied! The room was thoroughly cleaned and modern and the hotel quiet and peaceful! We enjoyed the pools and the free sunbeds

Nice pool and perfekt located on The Laganas beach. The room was a disappiontment when we booked a familyroom and only hade two normal beds and a sofa

There was some music every night from a nearby beachclub. But after 23:00 it was nice and quiet. The hotel itself was clean and quite beautiful. Breakfast consisted of a lot of different choices which was nice

The food was quite diverse, it was worth choosing because of its proximity to the beach. Only downside is that the drinks at the bar and restaurant were local and low quality brands

We highly recommend this hotel. The hotel complex is divided into two parts - the main part, which includes the reception, hotel lobby, two main pools, restaurant and bars

If you prefer a private pool, it would be useful to choose certain rooms at Zante Park, the common pool is crowded almost all day

The other part, the adults-only hotel, is in a building across the street, surrounded by another pool

Food and drinks are served in the main part of the hotel, so it is always necessary to cross the street when you live in the adults-only part, but it is only a few meters and at the same time one has much more peace and the pool to oneself

The hotel is located in a place where there are other taverns and hotels nearby, 5 minutes from the sea, the hotel charges too high prices for full board, the food is practically the same all the time, very little choice for children and children in this hotel are obviously the basis, not every child eats chips and pasta, just like an adult does not like English cuisine or pizza, the cleaning service...

Our room was clean and tidy, the staff friendly and the food delicious! The manager, Nikos, help us several times with how to reach the sightseeing and where to try the best local food

About a half an hour walk to the strip which was a bit of a struggle in the day when it was 40 degrees but walking to the strip of a night it was perfectly fine. There’s plenty of supermarkets on the way to the strip too

Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

A bit concerned about the hearing of one of the ladies - she yells instead of talking normally. LATER EDIT: talked with Reception about the cleaning staff and all the early morning noises and they were indeed more quiet

Fantastic people working there, always smiling and helpful - especially lady called Angela who works at reception. She is truly amazing and can be an example to other people working in hospitality industry

The staff was very nice and kind (they helped us with an topper for the 2 ppl bed, thanks from room B12) rooms are cleaned daily and the towels are changed daily (tip: you have even a special towel for the pool)

We stayed there 5 days, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The room was very clean, the housekeepers are doing a great job. Swimming pool and breakfast were also pretty nice

I was with my friends at this hotel we enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again. The hotel is great with a clean and nice pool, nice bar, from where you can buy drinks

Absolutely lovely staff! Especially at the snack bar, rooms were fairly standard nothing special... the beds were quite uncomfortable and the bathroom could have done with updating.
