Maria Rousse Mini-hotel

Really enjoyed our short stay here. The room was very clean & spacious. Excellent shower. The (two) pools were both really nice and served by their own friendly pool snack bar. The staff were plentiful, cheerful and hard-working. It's a 5min walk from both the Old Town and The Strip, but you don't hear any noise.

Loved this place.Room spotless. Clean towels every other day. Antisocial behaviour NOT tolerated at all! Food fresh and gorgeous. Location great..few mins walk one direction brought you to the funky strip..few mins the other way brought you to quieter area of fabulous restaurants more relaxed vibe. Definitely come back.

A little gem! We stayed in a superior double which superb. Light airy, clean and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in!

The cleanest hotel we've stayed in. Everywhere was spotless. All the staff were very friendly. For those moaning about the security guards, you need to remember not everyone likes going to bed in the early hours and are asleep so they are simply ensuring everyone is being respectful with their noise levels.

The hotel is ideally situated just at the top of the strip but is far enough away that its not noisy at night.

Air con and safe are extra but are priced very reasonably. (Air con €8 a night, safe €2 a night) This is completely normal for 3 star hotels and to be expected.

Food that we had was very good and reasonably priced.

Would return in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone

Lovely little hotel. George is really friendly and helpful and all the bar staff are really nice. Pool area is nice and plenty of sun beds so never a struggle getting a bed. Air con is an additional charge of €56 for 1 week which we thought was included so check, extra €10 for safe also. Rooms are big and spacious, shower room was a little small and a bit dated. New block looks a lot nicer. Hotel food really nice and priced fairly good choice of drinks , ice creams etc. would stay again

Great staff and quality experience. I will never forget this holiday and they friends we met here. All the people here were really friendly and run well by the staff. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a hotel. The food was great. The drinks were top-notch and easy to find restaurant. I honestly adore this place and will never forget it. The bar people are so friendly and so are every single person in this hotel. We have met so many friends here and hope this place keeps getting great people. I could not ask for any more.

We went on a girls holiday and the hotel was good, all the staff were lovely especially George who sorted out our room. To any girls visiting please be careful and come back to the hotel in big groups, not the hotels fault but had a dangerous experience outside walking back. The security guard and staff were all helpful following it

Brilliant hotel and the staff are all very nice. No complaints great location too. 20 min walk to beach , 2 mins from old town and 2 mins from the main *****

Our experience at Maria Rousse was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We had no complaints whatsoever. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

I’ve seen some negative comments about the owner, but we found George to be absolutely lovely—friendly, approachable, and clearly proud of the hotel he manages. It’s refreshing to see someone so hands-on and dedicated.

The location is ideal, and despite some reviews about the breakfast, we were very impressed. It was fresh, well-presented, and included some of the best fried eggs we’ve ever had.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the maid service was reliable, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were consistently attentive and professional across the board.

All in all, Maria Rousse exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Maria Rousse Studios, what a fabulous place. We stayed for 2 weeks and rebooked for next year halfway through our stay. Maria , George and all the staff are amazing and helpful and really friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. Can't wait for June 2026.
