We recently just stayed at Matheo for a week in May and honestly we cannot fault it. On arrival they kindly upgraded our room to the suite and it was beautiful. Went to this resort previous to covid with my other half and loved it, so we thought we would return with our baby. Staff are excellent and friendly. Had a really good time and the hotel was really good. Rooms were clean. Shower needed new sealant. Service was pretty good, and ate my own body weight in food which is a good guage of its quality. Just missing the finer points to be a 5 star. More like 3.5 to 4 star, definitely not 5 star. Would recommend it though for those wanting a quiet resort.
