There us also a variety of restaurants snd bars on site if you do not wish to leave the complex. With 4 outdoor pools and the beach a few steps away there are plenty of options for swimming and sunbathing

Great location of the hotel, right in the centre of Stalis. The beach was clean with a nice view. A big thank you to the Kids Club Team, they are passionate and very experienced

We moved from Ikaros to Alexander Beach this year because we know the team of the kids club. Improvement: The food is okey but not a five star rating

Very nice location directly on a sandy beach. Hotel rooms are OK, the staff is mostly super friendly

Outstanding service, friendly and helpful staff, extensive breakfast buffet options, nice swimming pools, tennis courts, next to the beach, gym, spa, massage and entertainment events for kids and adults

The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful

Other than the beach, the large pool is also a great place to chill (I think it was a good idea to remove the diving boards one can still see at some pictures). The resort is very calm and peaceful

Hotel has it's own beach and nice pools, but the rest (Room, Fitness, etc. Wellness services are offered by an external supplier with an very good quality (well, price. ) but limited to various massages (recommended!)

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

We spent a week at Kernos Beach Hotel in Crete. The hotel is nice and updated, spacious rooms and a really nice atmosphere. The beach is spacious too, not too full with sunbeds

Gently sloping beach ideal for families. Red flag occasionally on the beach due to wind/waves. Little entertainment which is fine. Roast meat option nearly every night

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The entire staff is friendly, everyone, really everyone 😅, and everyone speaks at least English, which is very positive. The entire staff is super helpful as well

This is a beautiful place with lots of greenery, direct access to the beach, nice food options. The staff at the restaurants, SPA, reception desk and cleaning service is well trained, polite and kind

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

But what is fantastic are the little extra gems like the place called Sunset (where you can eat once as an all-inclusive guest at no extra charge). Everything there was extremely beautiful and extremely delicious

### One thing I did not like: there was a photography brigade which was extremely out of sync with the hotel. when I took a picture, a screaming neurotic woman started yanking and shouting like a mad person

The hotel is spread over a large area, so it's big, but the buildings are well-placed, so it's not just one huge building. It’s a truly wild and beautiful place for chilling

The bars by the pool or the beach also had a large selection of alcohol, which was not bad. Beach: It was groomed and nice, the sea was also nice and without garbage

Water in pools was clean and warm. Sea is wonderful and at the end of August it was also nicely warm

Rating: 4,6 stars from 5 We stayed at the resort for a week, we lived in the sun village. The distance from the resort is about 300m, from the beach about 500m. The location led through a small road

Staff: He spoke both English and German, which I found adequate. We had no problem with the staff, I have to highlight the staff at the beach bar, very friendly and prompt

We were staying at the hotel last week of August with my husband,2 little kids and parents. Both families we had a nice pool view rooms. They looked quite newly renovated

Other: You can play mini golf, rent a car or play beach sports at the hotel. Room in sun village: cleaned every day and very nice room

The music in the bar in the evenings was so lovely, especially the beautiful setting over the pool with the light. And we had a great time on the beach too

Only downside for us was that the quieter River pool, with signs asking children not to play or be loud and so was more adult-only, only had poolside beds dedicated for particular bungalows/rooms

This was a bit frustrating when the main pool was full of kids having fun, and the river pool was beautifully quiet and peaceful. We could still use that pool, but we couldn't relax by it

My top tip would be that the best sun loungers by the main pool are by far the orange beds, they have shade you can move around and aren't on the grass which can become muddy

Incredible food, we tried every restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Cretan one. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One thing for future travellers to be aware of – it's a VERY family-friendly hotel

I'd say it is a family hotel first and foremost, honestly. We were one of the only parties there without children. But, the children were all pretty well behaved and it certainly didn't spoil our stay

The only thing i would say, would be maybe add a few more pool tables, and have a heated pool/jacuzzi. I've got 1 more day left here, so i am going to enjoy it. Thank you very much to everyone at Hotel Dessole 🇬🇷🛏🏨

A special mention goes to the amazing Maître Anthony, who, throughout the week and for all three meals of the day, helped me always with a smile to find what I could eat, as I am celiac

The restaurant offers delicious food, everything is clean, and it's especially pleasant to dine outdoors. There is plenty of variety, so it's impossible not to find something you like

Any negative reviews are unjustified, probably written by people who are not used to stepping out of their homes. Greetings to the entire staff from Maddalena and Family!

I can fully recommend that hotel not only for families with kids. Great food, great staff and the great location 👍.

Alongside this the location is great. Close enough for a short car journey from most of the interesting places in crete, and only a stones throw from some of the best beaches

If you are looking a hotel on creta to stay during your holiday look no futher. You will feel here like in the family. 15 min to beach, peaceful suroundigs with a great view

Incredible staff in the bar area, the managers are lovely and welcoming. It's pretty much being waited on hand and foot, rooms are cleaned daily and perfectly, and the pool area and social areas are always bathed in sun

attention photos (room average ,bathroom very average ) good personal is very reactive , meal too european for an island which is a reference in culinary , a total absence of fruit of fresh sea

, price drink more expensive than some bar in France and yet has Malia just search. ! disappointed a little , trap has tourists

Pretty quiet, away from the busy parts of Malia. Food is delicious, the staff here is very nice and they know which trips to recommend. Furthermore: clean, good airconditioning

The sevice and the rooms in the hotel were excellent!It's not fancy hotel and there is no enteratiement for kids but this the the staff is friendly and the beach is great

I've spent a vacation here with my family during the summer of 24. The hotel was recomended to us by our relatives who vere here a few years back (before covid). The hotel is separated in two parts

High Beach and High Beach White and they share the facilities. We had the opportunity to see both parts. The High Beach was more a family style kids friendly place and White was adults only, quiet relax place

Fantastic experience at High Beach Resort ! We stayed for 1 week (7-14th of August) and it was amazing ! Nice staff and really good food. They have the best beach and everyone is super helpful

The staff, the facilities, the food - honestly everything here is amazing and adds to the overall satisfaction. You do feel taken care of at all times and can simply focus on having a relaxing time

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Just got a couple of negative points: - No music at the bar pool - not expensive but you have to pay the sunbed - we had booked a superior double room, On arrival we were shown the room we had booked (twin bed simple room)

Fantastic pool area with very friendly staff and good food. Direct access to the beach from pool area as well. Breakfast was not of similar quality though. Also, the hotel coffee was undrinkable

The absolute top thing about this hotel is the beachfront location (deluxe room felt like we're almost on the sea) and the actual area that is taken care off and kept clean exceptionally.

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

Superb location, close to the old town, shops and taverns, bus stops and not far from the beach. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The pool has a bar and a good selection of foods and drinks

Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction- the rooms are quiet at night. Easy access to the bus stop to Heraklion and Ag Nik

We were very satisfied with our stay. It was amazing for 4*, rooms were nice and cleaned every day, drinks strong and food delicious, we could not decide what to try out first. We had at least some seafood for every meal

I stayed in the Malia Bay Beach Hotel with my friend for a week. We got a great room with a view on the pool. The rooms aren’t big, however they are in a great condition

The room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of the surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the amenities, such as the pool and on-site dining options, which added to the relaxing atmosphere

The pool is amazing, clean and with a chill atmosphere. The pool bar is a great place to wind off after a day of going to the beach or walking around. The snacks were great and so were the drinks

The pool area was fantastic place to relax the day away while the staff provided a large range of very tasty food and drink options at the pool bar. The best part of the stay was the family and staff that ran the hotel

We had breakfast included (Jet2 deal), a nice selection of European fair and cooked English options as well. The bar food, by the pool, was ok as was the pool itself

The hotel is 3-star, so it is not the most modern with all the bells and whistles. However, the great rooms, hotel facilities and most of all the wonderful staff makes it a Real Gem as well great value for money

There are no regular restaurants around the hotel that can meet the quality of food presented here! The employees are all so friendly and kind, giving you the best service and completing the whole holiday experience at the Kalypso hotel!!! We will return here again and can recommend it without any doubts…

The Kalypso in Malia - Crete is a little gem. The hotel is quietly located and the city center (party mile) can be reached in just a 15-minute walk

location good let's itself down with zero entertainment for the adults and the 2 pools not 3 are not large however the low-level large pool was great. could not have stayed here with a family of 4

plus when I said give me all inclusive as compensation you lost the plot we don't drink alcohol. 1 beer and 1 wine 3 local spirits that would have been shocking at 480 euro. all I wanted was post mix coca cola

could not understand at half board why I was ushered away from the bar too buy real bottles of cola at 2 euro you only wanted to sell post mix rubbish. dont let yourselves down doing that it's tacky

i don't want to criticise too much but I hope they read this and take on board there are much better around them and next time in malia stalls area we will be booking a proper 4 star Hotel

Regarding the terrible covid incident that you said you would talk too me in 48 hours. never did you and I would have told you what I'm writing here

owner needs to understand that not all customers are used to booking 4 stars and receiving a 3 star room

My daughter and her friend stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The location is excellent, close to everything: the sea, restaurants, and cafes. The room was lovely and clean, and the pool was just what we needed

The restaurant serves delicious food and suits everyone without costing too much. The bar area is very clean and has seating if you would like to have a conversation with the bartender

Had a very good experience here. Very nice bar where you can enjoy a drink, nice pool and close to the strip without being a nuisance. Actually everything you need on vacation.

We had a very pleasant stay of one week at this place. The staff is nice and the service is good. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The place is very well located and close to one of the nicest beaches

Malia beach is a 2 mins walk from the resort where the kids were able to play. The heated pool with jacuzzi was very good. The hanging seats near the pool and the bar setup is super cozy

The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast buffet is amazing. The SPA area and the swimming pool are very pleasant. Finally, the managers of this family establishment are attentive, available and super friendly

Nothing is too much for them to assist with. Every Saturday night they host their Greek family BBQ, all you can eat traditional Greek food, music, traditional Greek dancing, it's a must for anyone staying at Aegean Sky

Also in a really good location, 5 minutes from the strip, close enough to stagger home from, but far enough away not to hear the music all night, and about 15 minutes walk from the beach

We stayed on the 20/5 for a week, Panos and Joanna were fantastic hosts. They have great staff from Michael the hotel manager, Joseph, Tina their children. Mike the night security man and the lovely cleaners

The beds are comfortable and the hotel even has a pool and a poolside bar! The location is close to the beach and provides free parking

The rooms are clean and stocked with everything you need AND YOU CAN GET A HOT SHOWER. I was unable to get a hot shower anywhere else in Greece but at Aegean Sky Hotel and Suites the shower is amazing

Fantastic place probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff really make you feel at home, Panos and Cosats, the owner and manager, go out of their way to greet everyone of their guests

Sunbathing for the entirety of the day due for anyone like me is also an opportunity as there is a south facing Pool

The food was lovely , especially the Chicken Souvlaki, which is absolutely delicious ! 2 fabulous pools and a small baby pool with sunbeds and parsols

The showers are basic but do the job. They supply a hot plate , kettle, and toaster & all your cutlery and crockery. TV with just standard channels. A balcony with a table and chairs
