Hotels on first line in Malia

Generally the hotel is quite good for a beach vacation. It has its own private beach, there some rocks to entry the water, but not everywhere, and water is very clean

Very nice location directly on a sandy beach. Hotel rooms are OK, the staff is mostly super friendly

Outstanding service, friendly and helpful staff, extensive breakfast buffet options, nice swimming pools, tennis courts, next to the beach, gym, spa, massage and entertainment events for kids and adults

The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and particularly kind and understanding of families with kids. The beach has sun lounges that are owned by the hotel which makes it very accessible and easy to use

My family had wonderful time at the hotel: we received a kind offer to occupy a room with a private pool which was a perfect place for our 2 year old to learn how to swim

The communal swimming pool with comfy sunbeds, the restaurant with great a la carte food, the breakfast buffet and the lovely staff made our holiday a great experience. Thank you for your service.

Malia Crete is a wonderful destination, especially when you find a great hotel to stay at. The hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive

The 4 good sized pools had very comfortable sun loungers, however they were on the chilly side at this time of the year. The beach area was good & the sea was good for swimming. Cats! They were clean & friendly

This is a beautiful place with lots of greenery, direct access to the beach, nice food options. The staff at the restaurants, SPA, reception desk and cleaning service is well trained, polite and kind

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The entire staff is friendly, everyone, really everyone 😅, and everyone speaks at least English, which is very positive. The entire staff is super helpful as well

Generally good experience with everything. The location is stunning, the pools and seating as well as the restaurants are located beautifully along the coastline with views to the sea

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

But what is fantastic are the little extra gems like the place called Sunset (where you can eat once as an all-inclusive guest at no extra charge). Everything there was extremely beautiful and extremely delicious

The music in the bar in the evenings was so lovely, especially the beautiful setting over the pool with the light. And we had a great time on the beach too

Only downside for us was that the quieter River pool, with signs asking children not to play or be loud and so was more adult-only, only had poolside beds dedicated for particular bungalows/rooms

This was a bit frustrating when the main pool was full of kids having fun, and the river pool was beautifully quiet and peaceful. We could still use that pool, but we couldn't relax by it

My top tip would be that the best sun loungers by the main pool are by far the orange beds, they have shade you can move around and aren't on the grass which can become muddy

Incredible food, we tried every restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Cretan one. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One thing for future travellers to be aware of – it's a VERY family-friendly hotel

I'd say it is a family hotel first and foremost, honestly. We were one of the only parties there without children. But, the children were all pretty well behaved and it certainly didn't spoil our stay

Excellent architecture lets you enjoy the spectacular view from the beach/pool. Excellent cooks will show you that they can also cook you spectacular dishes besides an excellent buffet

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

I particularly enjoyed the amuse bouches. The sea is kid friendly because there is plenty of low sea before the bottom gets lower. Check in was a breeze, since the hotel was already prepared for us

It has its own sun beds on the beach for its guest, and there is usually no problem to find a spot there

Other than the beach, the large pool is also a great place to chill (I think it was a good idea to remove the diving boards one can still see at some pictures). The resort is very calm and peaceful

Alongside this the location is great. Close enough for a short car journey from most of the interesting places in crete, and only a stones throw from some of the best beaches

If you are looking a hotel on creta to stay during your holiday look no futher. You will feel here like in the family. 15 min to beach, peaceful suroundigs with a great view

Incredible staff in the bar area, the managers are lovely and welcoming. It's pretty much being waited on hand and foot, rooms are cleaned daily and perfectly, and the pool area and social areas are always bathed in sun

attention photos (room average ,bathroom very average ) good personal is very reactive , meal too european for an island which is a reference in culinary , a total absence of fruit of fresh sea

, price drink more expensive than some bar in France and yet has Malia just search. ! disappointed a little , trap has tourists

Pretty quiet, away from the busy parts of Malia. Food is delicious, the staff here is very nice and they know which trips to recommend. Furthermore: clean, good airconditioning

Probably one of the most amazing Greek summer holidays we've ever had! The location is perfect and the Hotel itself can easily lay claim to all of its 5 stars! The Suite we stayed in was of a very high standard and the bed was perfect (King size with a firm mattress - ideal for my back!!) The controllable air conditioning kept the rooms comfortable without being too cold! (Who wants that?) Very relaxing...

It’s a lovely hotel with a really nice buffet we went end of October it was a lot quieter which was nice and went to some lovely beaches nearby had some great food at the hotel, the food was all great lots of choice

High Beach and High Beach White and they share the facilities. We had the opportunity to see both parts. The High Beach was more a family style kids friendly place and White was adults only, quiet relax place

Very good hotel, high standard. The room (suite) is very large. The room package includes two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach. Good meals, in some options you can enjoy one dinner at the restaurant next door

Fantastic experience at High Beach Resort ! We stayed for 1 week (7-14th of August) and it was amazing ! Nice staff and really good food. They have the best beach and everyone is super helpful

As a frequent visitor to Malia, I have stayed at other hotels which were nice but I prefer Malia Holidays Hotel due to the location, bar, swimming pool and staff

The rooms are clean, the pool and bar is nice, the lounge bar is nice and can sit outside and watch the world go by

The staff are so kind and welcoming! The food was great for the price we paid, and rooms were good too! The pool was gorgeous and very spacious, and the pool bar staff (George) was amazing! He made our holiday so fun and enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again!

Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction- the rooms are quiet at night. Easy access to the bus stop to Heraklion and Ag Nik

A supermarket is across the road and Kaza bar is next door which sell good drinks, food and show sports on many screens

I stayed in the Malia Bay Beach Hotel with my friend for a week. We got a great room with a view on the pool. The rooms aren’t big, however they are in a great condition

We were very satisfied with our stay. It was amazing for 4*, rooms were nice and cleaned every day, drinks strong and food delicious, we could not decide what to try out first. We had at least some seafood for every meal

We stayed in the hotel for a total of 6 days. The location is amazing and the beach is found in front of the hotel which we loved. The animation in the hotel is amazing and offers entertainment for all ages

All the staff are lovely, especially the entertainment staff who we made friends with and the guy who works at the pool bar in the evenings who’s always smiling

This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone who works for Hotel Dessole is super friendly. The food here is very nice, the best I've had at an all inclusive. I would 100% return here in the future

Great garden, staff, pools and sea. Plus are free sunbeds on the beach. Bathrooms and lifts needs renovation. VERY NEGATIVE watersports on the beach and noisy atmosphere and petrol in the air.

The hotel is few steps from the beautiful beach - you can listen to the sea waves from your hotel room bed every night! One of the best holidays ever 🇬🇷💙

There are no regular restaurants around the hotel that can meet the quality of food presented here! The employees are all so friendly and kind, giving you the best service and completing the whole holiday experience at the Kalypso hotel!!! We will return here again and can recommend it without any doubts…

The Kalypso in Malia - Crete is a little gem. The hotel is quietly located and the city center (party mile) can be reached in just a 15-minute walk

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Just got a couple of negative points: - No music at the bar pool - not expensive but you have to pay the sunbed - we had booked a superior double room, On arrival we were shown the room we had booked (twin bed simple room)

Fantastic pool area with very friendly staff and good food. Direct access to the beach from pool area as well. Breakfast was not of similar quality though. Also, the hotel coffee was undrinkable

The absolute top thing about this hotel is the beachfront location (deluxe room felt like we're almost on the sea) and the actual area that is taken care off and kept clean exceptionally.

My daughter and her friend stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The location is excellent, close to everything: the sea, restaurants, and cafes. The room was lovely and clean, and the pool was just what we needed

The restaurant serves delicious food and suits everyone without costing too much. The bar area is very clean and has seating if you would like to have a conversation with the bartender

Had a very good experience here. Very nice bar where you can enjoy a drink, nice pool and close to the strip without being a nuisance. Actually everything you need on vacation.

We had a very pleasant stay of one week at this place. The staff is nice and the service is good. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The place is very well located and close to one of the nicest beaches

Malia beach is a 2 mins walk from the resort where the kids were able to play. The heated pool with jacuzzi was very good. The hanging seats near the pool and the bar setup is super cozy

The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast buffet is amazing. The SPA area and the swimming pool are very pleasant. Finally, the managers of this family establishment are attentive, available and super friendly

Nothing is too much for them to assist with. Every Saturday night they host their Greek family BBQ, all you can eat traditional Greek food, music, traditional Greek dancing, it's a must for anyone staying at Aegean Sky

Also in a really good location, 5 minutes from the strip, close enough to stagger home from, but far enough away not to hear the music all night, and about 15 minutes walk from the beach

We stayed on the 20/5 for a week, Panos and Joanna were fantastic hosts. They have great staff from Michael the hotel manager, Joseph, Tina their children. Mike the night security man and the lovely cleaners

The beds are comfortable and the hotel even has a pool and a poolside bar! The location is close to the beach and provides free parking

The rooms are clean and stocked with everything you need AND YOU CAN GET A HOT SHOWER. I was unable to get a hot shower anywhere else in Greece but at Aegean Sky Hotel and Suites the shower is amazing

Fantastic place probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff really make you feel at home, Panos and Cosats, the owner and manager, go out of their way to greet everyone of their guests

The pool area was fantastic place to relax the day away while the staff provided a large range of very tasty food and drink options at the pool bar. The best part of the stay was the family and staff that ran the hotel

The hotel is 3-star, so it is not the most modern with all the bells and whistles. However, the great rooms, hotel facilities and most of all the wonderful staff makes it a Real Gem as well great value for money

They were extremely accommodating, more than happy to assist you with your stay, and cared about their guests. I was a real joy to stay in a family run hotel that didn't treat you as a number

The room we had was nice and on the 1st floor although the shower room was less so

The extractor fan didn't work and the sink plug was completely separate from it's release mechanism - it could be used manually with difficulty though

For anyone that loves food you’re especially in for a treat (pun intended) the breakfast lunch and dinners are just incredible and great value for money as portion sizes are on the larger side! I cannot praise the service enough and will most definitely be coming back, missing everyone already!!

If you ever visit Malia ,Crete you must stay here it is an absolute dream place to be. The rooms are clean,modern and well maintained

If you enjoy a view it’s also amazing as very close are the surrounding mountains which look incredible on clear days
