Where to stay in Malia

Great location of the hotel, right in the centre of Stalis. The beach was clean with a nice view. The staff very friendly. A big thank you to the Kids Club Team, they are passionate and very experienced. We moved from Ikaros to Alexander Beach this year because we know the team of the kids club. Improvement: The food is okey but not a five star rating. We come back.

Very nice location directly on a sandy beach. Hotel rooms are OK, the staff is mostly super friendly. Breakfast is above average with a big selection of cereals in addition to the usual bread, fruit and warm/egg selection. The juices were 3-star standard though, nothing freshly squeezed. Terrible WiFi. The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful. The beach was nice and the room was comfortable. Would go there again.

My family had wonderful time at the hotel: we received a kind offer to occupy a room with a private pool which was a perfect place for our 2 year old to learn how to swim. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and particularly kind and understanding of families with kids. Overall a great stay. The room was a bit small, no coffee service in the room. Booked the Superior Bungalow Sea View - we were pretty far back from the ocean. There were bungalows right along the beach area so not sure what the difference was. Otherwise the stay was great - excellent breakfast, staff was top notch.

We spent a week at Kernos Beach Hotel in Crete. The hotel is nice and updated, spacious rooms and a really nice atmosphere. The beach is spacious too, not too full with sunbeds. The service is excellent, they are very friendly. Our airco was broken the first night, so to compensate us we got a bungalow with seaview.

Very nice looking hotel with poor service levels. More of a 4*, not 5*. Messed up our reservations, tried to overcharge us, also made lots of small mistakes, and were not very apologetic, even the manager. As a frequent visitor to Malia, I have stayed at other hotels which were nice but I prefer Malia Holidays Hotel due to the location, bar, swimming pool and staff. The rooms are clean, the pool and bar is nice, the lounge bar is nice and can sit outside and watch the world go by. Stayed at the Icandy Sol for the second year in a row in July. This small family run hotel is in a fantastic location for the strip but also walking distance to old town with it's fantastic restaurants. The rooms are modern and comfortable and there is a bar and small pool. Everything you want for a base for your holiday to explore and relax. Great value holiday. Thank you 😊

One of the best hotels in Crete. Not only because the hotel is superbly maintained, the rooms are wonderful and the grounds are a little dream, but because the hotel has a good soul in Roger who is second to none! This hotel is amazing if you’re staying in Malia. Everything is within a walking distance. Also Malia is known for the nightlife but we didn’t have much trouble from the noise. We were given one of the rooms that hadn't been done up. Others were much better. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was good. The hotel is a stones throw from the main strip, but the hotel is not affected by any noise at all. The hotel is strict when it comes to noise and party's in the hotel, and whilst Koula is in charge nothing will change, she is strict and yet super helpful at the same time...

Lovely (big, 60 room) family hotel. Great pool area, good wine, fine breakfast. The not so excellent things are the rooms, WiFi, cooking. But the great location (quiet, but 1 minute away from all the action) and the owners hospitality makes up for everything.

I like that Nikos Hotel is not in the centre so it's quite (besides Mondays when you may expect big techno party just opposite site). I dont like the fact that pool at the bar is closed at 7pm, this is big disadventage that is why 4 stars. Towers changed once a week, breakfast the same every day but in principle good when you take a look at the price.

Each room has its own balcony, rooms with a different number of beds, the linen is always clean. Responsive hosts. The hotel is located in the center of Malia, very convenient if you want to have access to bars and restaurants day and night, there is a 24 hour shop nearby.

I had a wonderful experience at Pasiphae Hotel. The location looks just like in the pictures. It is a family business, and the owners are always present, taking very good care of the guests. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very good to sleep in, there is daily cleaning, the towels and bed sheets are changed every three days. My stay at the hotel was unique. The stuff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the waiting spaces had a great design. The atmosphere was spectacular. Moreover, the dinner was tasty and the amount served was more than enough. Last but no least, breakfast has to offer so many choices that amazed me. It is by far the best hotel I’ve ever visited.
