The absolute top thing about this hotel is the beachfront location (deluxe room felt like we're almost on the sea) and the actual area that is taken care off and kept clean exceptionally.

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire. Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them.

Very friendly staff, very clean! The room furnishings and bathrooms are not new, but everything is in good shape. The breakfast is OK. The pool area with bar is absolutely up to date. I think price-performance ratio is outstanding! Small comment on the negative reviews: If you book 3 stars, you shouldn't expect 5 stars.

I absolutely loved my stay at Malia Holidays hotel. The staff are so kind and welcoming! The food was great for the price we paid, and rooms were good too! As a frequent visitor to Malia, I have stayed at other hotels which were nice but I prefer Malia Holidays Hotel due to the location, bar, swimming pool and staff. The rooms are clean, the pool and bar is nice, the lounge bar is nice and can sit outside and watch the world go by. Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction...

The bed was horrible. I asked to upgrade then the AC didn’t work. The entire hotel is horrible. I checked out the next morning and found a new hotel.

The staff are incredible! Helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. We have just returned from a wonderful holiday staying at Malia Mare. The family who run it are very lovely and kind. They made us feel welcome and at home. Lovely (big, 60 room) family hotel. Great pool area, good wine, fine breakfast. The not so excellent things are the rooms, WiFi, cooking. But the great location (quiet, but 1 minute away from all the action) and the owners hospitality makes up for everything.

I spent 10 days of follies in Malia in crete in a sensational hotel, the CRETA VERANO. The people who work Manos, her dad and mom, are really gentlemen and IRINA the evening waitress is very kind. Read the reviews before I stayed for a week. I do agree with the food. It's okay for a snack if there is stuff you do like. I mainly ate the pasta or rice. Chicken thighs were okay. It's like a 15 to 20 walk to strip. It's not the hotels flaut it's ours. You know what your having to do even when it tells you it's a 15 minute walk. I suggest getting a bike or something as you do get sick of the walk...

Cheap hotel in Malia. Standard is not the highest. Very helpful staff and great manager Nikos. Food was ok. Big swimming pool, but old-fashioned. About 15 - 20 min to the sandy beach, about 10 - 15 min to the city center. I recommend checking Raki from the bar in the hotel :)

We had a lovely 10 days at this hotel, in May this year 2018. Lovely friendly staff .good varied food. Manager Nikos was really helpful and would accommodate your every need . Not in the centre of Malia which was great but 10 minute walk if you wanted restaurants and bars. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Very nice, recently renovated rooms. Super friendly staff and very nice cocktail bar/lounge. Swimmingpool is big enough, and sunbeds are for free. Our airconditioning did not work properly, so we mentioned this in the morning and within one hour there were two mechanics fixing the issue. They came even back to check if it was still working.
