This was the second we have stayed at the Ibiscus, lovely family run hotel, great location for the Malia Strip and the old town, rooms are clean, beds comfortable, great breakfast by the pool, it suited all our needs, for a September break in the sun,

My friends and I were staying in Hibiscus Hotel for 6 days and we enjoyed every moment ! Right from the beginning, the kind and thoughtful service made us feel wanted. During the vacation, Helany, Harry, Leonidas and Dimitri (the owners of the hotel) helped us get around in this amazing area and serviced us kindly. Every question or request was answered. I like that Nikos Hotel is not in the centre so it's quite (besides Mondays when you may expect big techno party just opposite site). I dont like the fact that pool at the bar is closed at 7pm, this is big disadventage that is why 4 stars. Towers changed once a week, breakfast the same every day but in principle good when you take a look at the price.

Rooms very clean, great staff, room doesn t have tv and you have to pay for aircon, cleaning is rare

Each room has its own balcony, rooms with a different number of beds, the linen is always clean. Responsive hosts. The hotel is located in the center of Malia, very convenient if you want to have access to bars and restaurants day and night, there is a 24 hour shop nearby.

A good place. Noisy from the music in the evening, but show me where it is not noisy?

The cutest place in Malia. Stefan is a sympathetic and kind owner, Arthur (the dog) knows a lot about meeting guests.

To sleep and take a shower, norms! There is a kettle on the second floor, everything is paid ... conder day 5 euros refrigerator 5 euros a day!

28 euros per day with a delicious breakfast and very nice service! The rooms are clean and well equipped. Enough space to store things, great bed, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, balcony, air conditioning. We book here every time we are in Malia, we have stayed 3 times in different rooms = everything was great! Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and myself are currently accommodated in Mistral hotel and I have to say that hotel has overcome our expectations! Without any request made by us, we've been kindly offered to move to more comfortable room as I am 7 months pregnant. We were deeply touched by this human gesture. The owner speaks many languages and we felt welcomed there. At the breakfast we had multiple things to choose from. The pool was nice. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

Hotel rating is fully adequated. Rooms have no furniture for clothes, water is heated by solar power so after sunset hot water suply is problematic. Poor wifi outside often does not work althought signal strength is good. Super nice host Niko, great info and help when needed very friendly. Everything is clean it's no hotel so no coffee tea etc in the room but its a studio so there is cooking equipment and fridge etc. Just go out and get a coffe around the corner :) Room cleaned everyday when hanger put on door.

Stayed there for a week and was very happy with it. The staff was extremly nice and helped with everything we needed. The room was clean and the balcony was nice aswell. We didn’t use the pool but it looked good. To the beach it took us 2 minutes by foot and everything else you need is also close by. The staff are so friendly, nothing too much trouble, we had a sea view room and WOW that view!!, The Bed was large and comfortable, the shower large and plentiful supply of hot water. When I arrived late at night I must of looked slightly disappointed… The hotel seemed very old fashioned and needed a lick of paint and a couple of upgrades. After waking up to the sound of the sea, and the beautiful smiles of the fantastic family and staff who run this friendly hotel. I don't understand why this hotel has so many dodgy reviews. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Maid service daily and it is located right in the middle of everything and on the beach. Lovely pool and not very busy so you can always get a sunbed and enjoy a dip. Clean, beautiful, sadly no safe in room and not allowed to flush used toilet paper down the toilet. But there is fridge in room, water heater, weight scale, sewing kit, hair dryer, tv, air conditioning, telephone, even table for ironing, mosquito repellent, fast Wi-Fi huge shower... Be careful you can lock the keys in the room if you close doors with keys in room.

I've been staying here for two days now and its pretty ok, i complaint i have though, is the fact that in order to turn on the AC, you have to pay the ridiculous price of 45€. The staff are incredible! Helpful and friendly and very knowledgeable. This hotel is amazing if you’re staying in Malia. Everything is within a walking distance. Also Malia is known for the nightlife but we didn’t have much trouble from the noise. We were given one of the rooms that hadn't been done up. Others were much better. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was good. The hotel is a stones throw from the main strip, but the hotel is not affected by any noise at all. The hotel is strict when it comes to noise and party's in the hotel, and whilst Koula is in charge nothing will change, she is strict and yet super helpful at the same time...

The absolute top thing about this hotel is the beachfront location (deluxe room felt like we're almost on the sea) and the actual area that is taken care off and kept clean exceptionally.

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire. Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them.

A real quiet place to stay, local cucine, simply and super food. Friendly people. Great barman . Even is in center of the local movies no noises in the night. A real surprise. A real good place to relax , good cocktails. The beach is a walking distance.

We were here last year, forgot to leave a review but here it is anyway because it was so nice here! The nicest people work here who really make you feel at home. Also a nice hotel where old town, the beach and the nightlife are nearby.

Decent hotel for a 3 star. The staff is super welcoming and very kind. A special mention for Elisa and Desilda for their smiles and joie de vivre. Great location, big rooms, really clean, nice stuff. Breakfast has only 4 choices, but you will find something that suits you. You have to go for some time to reach the sea (like 20 mins). Has a nice restaurant near it with really good food and acceptable prices. There are like 10 parking spots near the building and a medium size pool.

Fantastic holiday, brilliant staff, spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely go again. Everyone so helpful and friendly. No problem too big or too small. They even provide airport transfers if booked direct through their website.

It was a good hotel for a girls holiday as it was cheap and basic, however the staff were very strict with noise. We got told off for talking in our hotel room at 6pm because it was ‘nap time’. The rooms are good, clean and with air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is okay but nothing special. We never ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening as there are much better options just a few steps outside the hotel.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever been too, the staff were amazing! They are so so friendly made us feel so welcomed and made the experience so much better. Felt so safe walking around at night constant security, will definitely be back! (They even made my friend a cake for her birthday!)

We were at Villa Malia for 12 days and had a room on the poolside. The room was renovated and looked really modern with a very comfortable shower. Every day our room got cleaned, which was really nice. Breakfast was included with more than enough options each day with fresh fruit. Very nice, recently renovated rooms. Super friendly staff and very nice cocktail bar/lounge. Swimmingpool is big enough, and sunbeds are for free. Our airconditioning did not work properly, so we mentioned this in the morning and within one hour there were two mechanics fixing the issue. They came even back to check if it was still working. Definitely recommended!
