Great Place, excellent rooms, quite a good service and tasty food! The approach of the hotel to the menu is unusual as if you have all inclusive, you still have to pay for the beverages and getting a glass of water or a coffee is quite expensive, so we had to have parties separately in our rooms… however the location is great and my family enjoyed swimming in the sea 🌊 and Greece 🇬🇷 is proudly Orthodox...

So many facilities and everything is absolutely spotless. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel

On the bright side, the staff were incredibly kind and always smiling (even though they seemed to work from sunrise to sunset), the sea in front of the hotel was beautifully clean and the watermelon was consistently sweet and delicious

Location is brilliant too and loads of restaurants nearby that serve great food

Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t quite live up to expectations

Housekeeping was hit-or-miss (our bin full of baby diapers wasn’t emptied even after asking at reception), the “double bed” was just two singles drifting apart, and the baby cot came with a folded adult sheet that turned into a nightly wrestling match

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

We spend a week there in early August. One of the best stays we ever had. We had to change rooms and they were really nice and professional about it. The staff is very good, the atmosphere amazing

It's a great place if you want to relax. Nothing to see around it but we just stayed at the beach or the pools, the hotel is interesting enough :)

We were on vacation as a group – the resort is beautiful and the location is perfect. The pools and the beach are just perfect

The food was amazing, and the restaurants really impressed us with their stunning locations and excellent cuisine

We had a cooking class at Mouries and it was truly a core memory. They made us feel like their family and the food was so authentic we ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there almost every day

The staff is super friendly and helpful and the architecture and interior in general is beyond beautiful. Although there were lots of smaller children we never had the feeling that it's too loud or overcrowded

It's close to downtown Malia which is known for its partying scene as well if you are a group of younger people looking for the perfect place to spend your holiday. Can't wait to visit in again!

We stayed in a balcony room overlooking the ocean and the waves crashing onto the shore were a sound I crave daily. Waking up and having coffee out there was the best way to start the day

This is the first Hotel we honestly consider coming back to next year! We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and the short trip from the airport to the hotel is a big plus

The entire resort was extremely clean, room service was exceptional and we loved walking around it. Lastly, I loved the fact that this is an all inclusive resort for families

Excellent place to stay . Food is great , location right on the beach and staff brilliant

The sea is shallow, you can reach the bottom almost to the buoys. Most of the time there are waves because of the constant wind, which are kind of fun

The room was a bit small, no coffee service in the room. Booked the Superior Bungalow Sea View - we were pretty far back from the ocean

We loved our stay, the hotel is very quiet, the location is perfect. You can admire the sunset while you eat. The staff is very nice, especially the restaurant's chef ! I highly recommand !

We recently just stayed at Matheo for a week in May and honestly we cannot fault it. On arrival they kindly upgraded our room to the suite and it was beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating

My very special thanks go to Mum and Daughter who showered my friends and I with such wholesome compliments. We felt like fashion models as we walked downstairs each evening to head out to be complimented

Their authenticity and just sincere personalities made us feel great. A special thanks also to the team who kept us supplied with well made cocktails and snacks

One particular incident really stood out: I accidentally knocked over a glass by the pool—an honest mistake—and was immediately charged for it without so much as a conversation or warning. No understanding, just a bill

What a wonderful hotel to enjoy a late 60th birthday present. The minute you walk through the door to be met with the warmest of welcomes, a truly great experience starts

We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with a sea view, two couples, for the second time. The service at the hotel is perfect, the staff is courteous and responds to every request with a smile and kindness

The villa was well-maintained and beautifully equipped, with a private pool and breathtaking views of the sea and mountains

And the Taxi from Malia is 10 Euros each way (4 minute drive lol), which is obviously not the real price, but for Westerners, the least we can do is help out the economy a little, so I didn't complain about that personally

The woman whom I forgot the name of, and sorry for getting it wrong, but I think she was Eastern European or Russian, was extremely classy, and informative, she went above and beyond for my family and always helped in any way that we needed

Secondly, because we checked in very late, they left us each a bottle of wine, with food and salad. And not going to lie, that was a highlight for me. I personally poured that wine down at 3AM, and dipped into the pool

The villa is well-equipped, clean and simply perfect. The location of the hotel is truly dreamy, located on the mountain, with a simply stunning view, and is close to all the main places

The rooms are clean, the pool and bar is nice, the lounge bar is nice and can sit outside and watch the world go by

The hotel is in the perfect location - right on top of the strip and under the old town so, everything is in walking distance. It is less than 10min walk to the nearest beach and there is a big supermarket right in front

Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction- the rooms are quiet at night. Easy access to the bus stop to Heraklion and Ag Nik

Luckily, the staff was very friendly and helpful (family-run) and they moved us to another room, overlooking the pool. It was much better - modern beds and no noise at all

Beautiful clubs, fantastic restaurants, and the sea is also just a short walk away. It was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you so much for everything, and we’ll definitely see you again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Malia Holidays Hotel, the staff were all amazing eager to help, very friendly and polite! From the beautiful gardens, very clean swimming pool and bar to the quality of food, drinks and services all top tier! Really enjoyed our breakfast every morning with plenty of food to choose from

If you want to enjoy your holiday Solimar Ruby is a very good choice. I love this place- close to the beach, close to The city center. Amazing staff, nice rooms, everything is clean, big pool, tasty food

The hotel has a very nice pool area (2), excellent buffet style dining with food to suit all tastes and the seafront is a short walk (5mins) from the hotel

The food was lovely, and differentiated every day so you got to experience plenty of the Greek cuisine, however there was still plenty of food who preferred the original "spaghetti" or the likes

The pool is large , the choice of food is great. You have to walk for 15-20 minutes, no problem for us. But we took the ATV and drove to the beach, 4 km from the hotel, there is steeper

During our last minutes in the hotel we've left mobile phone, they didnt make any problems with sending it back to our home. Hotel staff is generaly very kind

My partner and I cannot recommend the hotel staff enough who were prepared to go above and beyond what was required to ensure our stay was enjoyable

5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the old town, perfect location and a great base from which to explore the island. Can't wait to come back next year

This hotel is good if you want to explore malia and use the hotel for small breaks in your room or by the pool. If you want to just stay in the hotel, i would maybe recommend somewhere else😊

Luckily there are many amazing and affordable resturants nearby. The hotel is not very modern for its looks but does its job(nothing to complain about really)

The rooms are very hygienic that are continuously cleaned by the cleaners who are all very kind people and you are accompanied with your own private balcony that has a seating area and a lot more out door space

Rooms: clean, refreshed daily, basic furnishings. Breakfast: something different every day, although similar. Choice of tea, coffee, juice and water. Very nice lady serving the kitchen

Location: close to the center of town, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, the same amount to the mountains. Lots of grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants and bars. Service: very nice, helpful, doing a great job

Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking

I’ve been to some hotels but this hotel is the absolute best! 100% recommend going all inclusive as food is amazing and the bar is full of different choices to drink (Try raki, vodka and lemonade from there)

We spent a week on Crete and the hotel was a good choice, close to all important amenities and entertainment hubs, but far enough to not be bothered by the noise

The sea next to the hotel is lovely- but very rocky. The soft drinks at the hotel are not great but there is a shop directly opposite the hotel for a proper, branded soft drink. Overall, we enjoyed our stay

Chef Yannis prepared some gluten-free sweets every single day especially for us and the other chef has prepared the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. Different food every day and very nice and friendly staff

Friendly, hard working and very attentive I highly recommend this hotel A little disappointing that the pool was closed every day at 6pm and the plastic mugs for cold drinks made it feel a little like a nursery

The rooms were clean, air conditioned and cleaned every day and the hotel areas seem to be well-maintained. The pool area would very quickly get busy - so we didn't spend too much time around the pool

They always had a smile for us and were very welcoming- They made all the difference to our stay! The food was authentic Greek, delicious and varied

Crete is beautiful and the hotel is in a good location to access Malia town. Also, good access Chersonissos and Heraklion with regular bus services

Back in September 2024, we stayed in this hotel for our lads holiday, and it was a lovely, relaxing and atmospheric experience. Firstly, everything was absolutely fantastic, the buffet breakfast was delicious

The location of the hotel is brilliant, everything was within walking distance, especially all the beaches, the Malia strip, there’s plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, there’s also plenty of places to book excursions in too

There are plenty of local buses which you can book with your excursions, depending on where you are going. We went off peak in September and it was relatively quiet and we enjoyed everything

Those Madeira cakes are to die for! The hotel was stunning and the overall design and layout was amazing. The room was very comfortable and the sizes of the room were brilliant

It is close to many amenities such as bars and clubs while also close to the older part of Malia where there are a number of restaurants serving local fare

I must point out that when you get dropped off at the church at the top of the road you have to walk about 5-10 minutes down the road as the roads to tight for the big busses

hotel overall is clean and tidy and looks well looked after. breakfast and lunch were stunning. by far the best pool I've ever seen on holiday. I've already been planning to come back here in the near future

Great Hotel! The staff is extra friendly (never saw something like that in a hotel before), the location is great (10min from beautiful beach, the clubs are also very close, the bus station is 150m from hotel), they have a nice pool in front of it, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are nice (you have to pay for air conditioning but you can survive without it if you open the balcony door

Hotel is right on the sandy beach, yet also in city of Malia. The beach itself is nice and clean, and there is very nice swim out to a small beautiful islet. Sun ubrellas are pre-booked for certain rooms types

But a 5 minute walk further up the clean beach was plenty of free sand and sea areas. Everything in Malia including restaurants, supermarkets, bars and souvenir shops were only a short walk from this hotel

We rested in this hotel with a group and everyone was very satisfied. The beach is close and sandy, the swimming pool is ok for refreshing. The food and service are very good. There were also live performers a few times

Really great hotel with perfect prices and a delicious buffet. But the absolute highlight is the bar! The bartender is top-notch, mixes the best drinks, and is always quick, friendly, and on point

Amazing staff and great location. Lots of shops 5 minutes away, beach not far either however I visited others that were about 10 minutes drive. Hotel is very youth oriented so can get a bit noisy

English Breakfast which was included is not the best v limited and is the same everyday, not bad for one day but then becomes boring. The cleaning of the studio could be better but it was ok

Cleaners changed towels every 2 days, emptied the bins and made the bed. TV not great only 3 channels but again if you are on holiday one wants to sightseeing. Wi-Fi and Air con charged locally and quite pricey

Nothing is too much for them to assist with. Every Saturday night they host their Greek family BBQ, all you can eat traditional Greek food, music, traditional Greek dancing, it's a must for anyone staying at Aegean Sky

Peaceful location We paid for a room with a sea view. We got a room with a view of the parking lot. The hotel reasoned that there are no sea view rooms available because those who made their reservation earlier get them

Hotel is based in quite and peaceful area,to town center is about 10-15min walk, to the beach 20 min. Food in there amazing taste full and price really affordable. Hotel staff helpfull in any matter

Car is a must to travel around, however be aware that the parking is too small for the amount of people staying which means you sometimes have to park in very rural/wild spaces with big rocks

Additionally, the hotel has a private beach. The loungers there come at an extra cost, but the beach itself is very nice: sandy, with a gradual entrance into the sea, and overall very comfortable

It's a 15-20 minute walk to the beaches, and about the same distance to grocery stores, just in the other direction. The lack of sidewalks on the road was a problem for us since we were with children

The hotel is around a 15 minute walk into town, and if self-catering, I would recommend using the big supermarket for any shopping at the local mini supermarket is quite a bit more expensive

I would give the service a 10 out of 5! Rooms cleaned every two days, bar service was fast and friendly. The worst thing for us about this wonderful hotel was its location

Quite bright at night with the emergency exit sign. Shower is bad as the curtain sticks to you and in my room unable to hang shower due to the curtain pulling it off the hook

Potamos beach was about a 15 minutes walk in the opposite direction to town, and this beach was glorious and not right near the Malia ***** if you want to avoid the younger crowd- not that there were any issues anyway

4 stars out of 5 for the room only because there was no microwave in the rooms, and the shower was really small. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and practical
