Best Hotels in Malia

Our children took advantage of the interactive games that were organized almost every day. The food was good and the service impeccable

I had a great time at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The spa area was clean and cozy, just right for taking a break. I felt completely comfortable and would definitely come back again!

The hotel has many swimming pools, especially for adults, but it also has 3 swimming pools for children

That to me, is a great indication of a place that treats their staff well! The pools were gorgeous and so clean; the private beach was an actual slice of heaven; the food was so tasty (seriously - not a single disappointing dish!); and the facilities were so clean and tastefully decorated

one for children/babies 2 - 3 years old which is covered with a tarpaulin to create shade and be able to take advantage of it at any time of the day. and the other 2 are right next to the adult one

We stayed there for five days (a couple and a kindergarten-aged girl) during July with full board service

Excellent place to stay . Food is great , location right on the beach and staff brilliant

Another thing is that although there are enough sun beds for every guest, unfortunately many choose to block the best located ones for themselves by sprinting each morning before breakfast, covering the sun beds with towels and using them much later

Other than the beach, the large pool is also a great place to chill (I think it was a good idea to remove the diving boards one can still see at some pictures). The resort is very calm and peaceful

I understand there are bugs and stuff outside which can get to the room sometimes but I believe the hotel should try to limit the chances by taking good care of the rooms

Even though this is mostly the cheeky guests' fault, I'd appreciate the hotel to prevent this from happening. Sandy, very clean, actually not very crowded compared to the other beaches nearby

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

Beautiful property, right on the beach with crystal clear waters and warm sand. The staff were fantastic and always willing to help/answer questions or give recommendations for tours or food etc

I heartily congratulate the hotel management for the wonderful way they run the facility. The transfer to and from the airport was super convenient, very punctual, and fast – probably my best experience so far

I had a lovely experience with Mrs Eleni🤲 she guide me true tradition relaxing 75min of ⛰️Cretan massage all body with local raky🍵 and 🫒 oil. Was amazing and deep 💦🙏 with luxury Spa facility arounded🌊 pleasure for body

### One thing I did not like: there was a photography brigade which was extremely out of sync with the hotel. when I took a picture, a screaming neurotic woman started yanking and shouting like a mad person

Food options are varied and food quality is good. All Inclusive was good value for money and included some drinks

Incredible food, we tried every restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Cretan one. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One thing for future travellers to be aware of – it's a VERY family-friendly hotel

My top tip would be that the best sun loungers by the main pool are by far the orange beds, they have shade you can move around and aren't on the grass which can become muddy

I'd say it is a family hotel first and foremost, honestly. We were one of the only parties there without children. But, the children were all pretty well behaved and it certainly didn't spoil our stay

Only downside for us was that the quieter River pool, with signs asking children not to play or be loud and so was more adult-only, only had poolside beds dedicated for particular bungalows/rooms

This was a bit frustrating when the main pool was full of kids having fun, and the river pool was beautifully quiet and peaceful. We could still use that pool, but we couldn't relax by it

My partner and I came to Crete for 10 days in September, and stayed at Cretan Malia Park. We had a wonderful time – the room was beautiful and the whole resort was gorgeous

If you want to enjoy your holiday Solimar Ruby is a very good choice. I love this place- close to the beach, close to The city center. Amazing staff, nice rooms, everything is clean, big pool, tasty food

The hotel has a very nice pool area (2), excellent buffet style dining with food to suit all tastes and the seafront is a short walk (5mins) from the hotel

I had the best time at Solimar Ruby! The staff are kind, considerate and friendly. They take care of your every need with a smile

Food was good, pools are nice and localization is quite good - not far away from the city center

Excellent hotel with amazing staff that couldn't so enough for us.

The food was lovely, and differentiated every day so you got to experience plenty of the Greek cuisine, however there was still plenty of food who preferred the original "spaghetti" or the likes

Breakfast had plenty of options, the coffee was excellent, and the service from the girls working there was amazing. They had an answer to all our questions and helped us a lot

It was one of the best 10-day vacations we've ever had with my partner. The rooms were beautiful, the housekeeping staff came in every day, and everything was spotless

This enabled me to stream films and live football games on my device within the hotel- this is especially handy should the weather turn bad which occasionally happens, or if I just needed to stay out of the sun in a nice cool air-conditioned room sometimes after a tiring previous night- will hopefully be returning next year to see other familier faces that also return here every year

There is someone at the front desk 24/7, which made us feel safe. The gardens were full of flowers and trees — a small paradise. The pool was crystal clear, with an incredible pool bar

The girl at the bar was outstanding — always smiling and speaking to us with so much warmth. She was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met at a bar

Beautiful clubs, fantastic restaurants, and the sea is also just a short walk away. It was truly one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you so much for everything, and we’ll definitely see you again next year!

One particular incident really stood out: I accidentally knocked over a glass by the pool—an honest mistake—and was immediately charged for it without so much as a conversation or warning. No understanding, just a bill

To make matters worse, I was charged an outrageous fee for a tiny makeup mark on a towel—something that any decent hotel would consider normal wear and tear. Some* of the staff were rude and unhelpful

These two need a real praise, especially Gobi he was so polite, kind and always good to have a chat too he was our favourite worker throughout our stay at King Minos and want to thank him for being so good at his job, same goes for Desponia

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. While the location seemed promising, the experience was overshadowed by hidden fees and poor customer service

Everybody is so warm friendly - and beyond efficient. This is customer service at its best. In particular the family really want to know you and ensure your happiness

Great staff, very friendly people everywhere: reception, housekeeping, waiterd, bars - all of them are very good and helpful. We had great time, our room was very beautiful and clean

Excellent view from the hotel especially for breakfast. Staff are super friendly and helpful, we had breakfast included and the selection was excellent

And the Taxi from Malia is 10 Euros each way (4 minute drive lol), which is obviously not the real price, but for Westerners, the least we can do is help out the economy a little, so I didn't complain about that personally

The woman whom I forgot the name of, and sorry for getting it wrong, but I think she was Eastern European or Russian, was extremely classy, and informative, she went above and beyond for my family and always helped in any way that we needed

Secondly, because we checked in very late, they left us each a bottle of wine, with food and salad. And not going to lie, that was a highlight for me. I personally poured that wine down at 3AM, and dipped into the pool

The villa is well-equipped, clean and simply perfect. The location of the hotel is truly dreamy, located on the mountain, with a simply stunning view, and is close to all the main places

Now moving onto the actual hotel. Firstly, they gave us a free upgrade as we were a family and we had different villa types, but they put us next to each other via upgrading

We stayed 12 days in Anesea hotel and it was the best choice we could make! The service, the food and cocktails are really good. Everything is clean and the staff is really nice

Not only because the hotel is superbly maintained, the rooms are wonderful and the grounds are a little dream, but because the hotel has a good soul in Roger who is second to none! He knows the names and preferences of all his guests, always has a good tip and a funny saying ready

The hotel of 2019, given the short season of 2020 - completely new! The rooms are very cozy and modern. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel (this is important). Another positive point is the pool

We returned again and it is great as it was. Service and comfort the best ever. Nice breakfast and beautiful pool. You have to try.

The location is very good between Malia en Stalis, you can walk to both towns. We will recommend Anesea to everyone!

We spent a week on Crete and the hotel was a good choice, close to all important amenities and entertainment hubs, but far enough to not be bothered by the noise

Rooms: clean, refreshed daily, basic furnishings. Breakfast: something different every day, although similar. Choice of tea, coffee, juice and water. Very nice lady serving the kitchen

Location: close to the center of town, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, the same amount to the mountains. Lots of grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants and bars. Service: very nice, helpful, doing a great job

I’ve been to some hotels but this hotel is the absolute best! 100% recommend going all inclusive as food is amazing and the bar is full of different choices to drink (Try raki, vodka and lemonade from there)

Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking

Great holiday village, clean and cosy, good food, both international and Italian and Greek cuisine theme nights.

Very decent hotel; some rooms/apartments are better than others. Our hotel room (main building) was a bit small/dated. Nothing like the pictures :) Also bathroom was old. Safe for valuables costs EUR 4 per day

that’s really beyond what you would expect from a place like this! Especially since it’s ALL inclusive. apparently that doesn’t apply to the safe. Would have loved to see a coffee maker in the room

We had a mixed experience at the Sirens Beach hotel. On the positive side, the location is excellent — it’s very close to the beach, which made getting there with kids really easy

The holiday in this hotel was okay overall, but if you care more about quality than quantity, I wouldn’t recommend it. The services definitely don’t reflect a 4-star standard. Personally, we wouldn’t return

There are three pools, all well-maintained and pleasant. There are three beach bars, but only one is included in the all-inclusive package; the others offer a 30% discount. The pool bar also serves snacks during the day

The hotel also features a gym with several treadmills and, to my suprise, an olympic bar with 120 kg worth of wheights, not much hotels have that! The Hotel has a spa and we had very good massage

The sevice and the rooms in the hotel were excellent!It's not fancy hotel and there is no enteratiement for kids but this the the staff is friendly and the beach is great

The food was good the bevrages and alchol were local and not so tasty

High Beach and High Beach White and they share the facilities. We had the opportunity to see both parts. The High Beach was more a family style kids friendly place and White was adults only, quiet relax place

The complex is well-maintained and clean, perhaps a bit rambling, but offers everything you could wish for (cardio room, outdoor fitness area, three pools, sports activities, a fantastic beach, etc

Fantastic pool area with very friendly staff and good food. Direct access to the beach from pool area as well. Breakfast was not of similar quality though. Also, the hotel coffee was undrinkable

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Very nice hotel with feiendly stuff, great beach and always fresh food. Perfect for older people. Calm place.

Just got a couple of negative points: - No music at the bar pool - not expensive but you have to pay the sunbed - we had booked a superior double room, On arrival we were shown the room we had booked (twin bed simple room)

We were told for an extra € 14 a day we could up grade (to the room we booked) pity. We did pay the extra - everything is extra, remote for TV, key for the safe Ask me if I would stay again

We rested in this hotel with a group and everyone was very satisfied. The beach is close and sandy, the swimming pool is ok for refreshing. The food and service are very good. There were also live performers a few times

Really great hotel with perfect prices and a delicious buffet. But the absolute highlight is the bar! The bartender is top-notch, mixes the best drinks, and is always quick, friendly, and on point

Had a very good experience here. Very nice bar where you can enjoy a drink, nice pool and close to the strip without being a nuisance. Actually everything you need on vacation.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere at the bar is always lively, the cocktails are amazing, and the bartender as well as the rest of the staff are super friendly

the hotel is in a very good location, close to the main street and beaches, despite the proximity it is not noisy at all. great staff and very clean

The hotel's location is also very convenient as it is located in the Old Town of Malia (which is where all the other good restaurants are located 😉)

Has a nice restaurant near it with really good food and acceptable prices. There are like 10 parking spots near the building and a medium size pool

Besides the warm and open environment, the rooms are super nice and clean, as it was just renovated. Also, they have a restaurant just across the street with super good food

Also a nice hotel where old town, the beach and the nightlife are nearby

Their restaurant opposite is good but does not offer raki like all the other restaurants in Malia, too bad!!! The boss is moody too bad. The hotel is well located for the city center but 20 minutes walk from the beach

The staff is super welcoming and very kind. A special mention for Elisa and Desilda for their smiles and joie de vivre. The cleaning is very good on arrival but leaves something to be desired for the rest of the stay

The hotel is very nice and recommendable, not too big and a well-kept complex. The service is great, Maria Brazil and her colleagues are very friendly. A few minutes walk to the beach and the pool is fantastic too

Rooms were good and clean There was a Gym in the basement we used. Food was good, not everyday the same. Location directly on the beach was good Pool not too crowded. Finaly the employees were very good and helpful.

my first holiday in a long time and what a memorable time i have had my Room was spacious bedsit style with balcony and view of the sea, stunning shower room and as for the staff was very friendly a beautiful family run business Demi was extremely helpful and girls behind the bar friendly you feel very safe with excellent security team around at night time,I was a solo traveller and not once did...

By far the best hotel I’ve ever been too, the staff were amazing! They are so so friendly made us feel so welcomed and made the experience so much better

Cleaners changed towels every 2 days, emptied the bins and made the bed. TV not great only 3 channels but again if you are on holiday one wants to sightseeing. Wi-Fi and Air con charged locally and quite pricey
