Dinner buffet was OK, desserts were nice, the main dishes mostly good. Child club was great, with the ladies taking great care of the kids

The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and particularly kind and understanding of families with kids. The beach has sun lounges that are owned by the hotel which makes it very accessible and easy to use

Outstanding service, friendly and helpful staff, extensive breakfast buffet options, nice swimming pools, tennis courts, next to the beach, gym, spa, massage and entertainment events for kids and adults

My family had wonderful time at the hotel: we received a kind offer to occupy a room with a private pool which was a perfect place for our 2 year old to learn how to swim

Ideal for people who enjoy hotel-life. Maybe too much for those who just need a place to sleep

Other than the beach, the large pool is also a great place to chill (I think it was a good idea to remove the diving boards one can still see at some pictures). The resort is very calm and peaceful

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location, however, few things are missing to give it a full score. The hotel offers great views at the mountains on one side and the open sea on the other

The biggest issue we had was with the insect in our room. There were ants from the start and on the third night, we had cockroaches crawling all over the place, even in the bed

There are many small shops around, but don't expect good quality/price since mostly all of them sell the same chinaware and very less local/cretan goods. Public transport? Arrange it at the reception

Lots of trees, bushes and plants all around, one can even encounter many secluded places when walking through the resort. No loud music playing long to the night

Beautiful property, right on the beach with crystal clear waters and warm sand. The staff were fantastic and always willing to help/answer questions or give recommendations for tours or food etc

This is a beautiful place with lots of greenery, direct access to the beach, nice food options. The staff at the restaurants, SPA, reception desk and cleaning service is well trained, polite and kind

I had an amazing stay and I could see the ocean from my bed. What more could a girl ask for!?

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

Incredible food, we tried every restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Cretan one. The staff were so lovely and friendly. One thing for future travellers to be aware of – it's a VERY family-friendly hotel

My top tip would be that the best sun loungers by the main pool are by far the orange beds, they have shade you can move around and aren't on the grass which can become muddy

I'd say it is a family hotel first and foremost, honestly. We were one of the only parties there without children. But, the children were all pretty well behaved and it certainly didn't spoil our stay

Only downside for us was that the quieter River pool, with signs asking children not to play or be loud and so was more adult-only, only had poolside beds dedicated for particular bungalows/rooms

This was a bit frustrating when the main pool was full of kids having fun, and the river pool was beautifully quiet and peaceful. We could still use that pool, but we couldn't relax by it

My partner and I came to Crete for 10 days in September, and stayed at Cretan Malia Park. We had a wonderful time – the room was beautiful and the whole resort was gorgeous

Superb location, close to the old town, shops and taverns, bus stops and not far from the beach. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. The pool has a bar and a good selection of foods and drinks

Very friendly staff, very clean! The room furnishings and bathrooms are not new, but everything is in good shape. The pool area with bar is absolutely up to date

Had air conditioning, a shower which always had hot water and the most comfortable mattresses. Very fast wifi with excellent coverage

The main bar had a good selection and is open in the evenings, and outside a seating area which is great place to relax

The staff are so kind and welcoming! The food was great for the price we paid, and rooms were good too! The pool was gorgeous and very spacious, and the pool bar staff (George) was amazing! He made our holiday so fun and enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again!

Not quite sure how people can even moan about this distance because the walk to the restaurants with the view in the back makes it even better! The hotel is probably about a 20 minute walk to the beach, the beach is at the bottom of the strip and I was quite shocked at how long the strip actually is

This hotel and especially their staff is amazing. They just renovated the hotel, which looks stunning. It has a nice pool with enough sunbeds and the food is good

Service: The service at this hotel was amazing!!! Just want to shout out Irene, Rati and yama (I believe that’s there names) you truly made our holiday that bit better! The coctails were really nice and my boyfriend loved the breakfast (especially the cakes)

Honestly not sure where the bad reviews come from! We have just come back from a week staying in this hotel and we have completely no faults! Location: the hotel is situated on top of a hill, however the views of Malia are all worthwhile

Location: close to the center of town, about 20 minutes walk to the beach, the same amount to the mountains. Lots of grocery and souvenir stores, restaurants and bars. Service: very nice, helpful, doing a great job

I’ve been to some hotels but this hotel is the absolute best! 100% recommend going all inclusive as food is amazing and the bar is full of different choices to drink (Try raki, vodka and lemonade from there)

Parking just In front of the hotel in public parking. Rooms clean, cleaned out every day. The pool is just perfect for an after beach relax or upon a windy day. Malia old town is a must and it is just 5min walking

If you want to enjoy your holiday Solimar Ruby is a very good choice. I love this place- close to the beach, close to The city center. Amazing staff, nice rooms, everything is clean, big pool, tasty food

The hotel has a very nice pool area (2), excellent buffet style dining with food to suit all tastes and the seafront is a short walk (5mins) from the hotel

I had the best time at Solimar Ruby! The staff are kind, considerate and friendly. They take care of your every need with a smile

The food was lovely, and differentiated every day so you got to experience plenty of the Greek cuisine, however there was still plenty of food who preferred the original "spaghetti" or the likes

The pool is large , the choice of food is great. You have to walk for 15-20 minutes, no problem for us. But we took the ATV and drove to the beach, 4 km from the hotel, there is steeper

Wonderful staff, peaceful, great for couples and/ or families. Beautiful view and clean comfortable rooms. Good food and cocktails! Only downside is a car is highly recommended to get into the city/ get around.

Very vegetarian friendly but you need to ask for the veggie moussaka which is excellent (I hope it's made it to the menu now). Breakfast is a great buffet with everything that you need - loads of variety

The Ladies at the Breakfast also need a shoutout, good Job. Cleaning staff really shines too. Very exclusive location this hotel. Get a rental to be free to move around as you like, it's cheap enough

Not only because the hotel is superbly maintained, the rooms are wonderful and the grounds are a little dream, but because the hotel has a good soul in Roger who is second to none! He knows the names and preferences of all his guests, always has a good tip and a funny saying ready

The hotel of 2019, given the short season of 2020 - completely new! The rooms are very cozy and modern. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel (this is important). Another positive point is the pool

Rating: 4,6 stars from 5 We stayed at the resort for a week, we lived in the sun village. The distance from the resort is about 300m, from the beach about 500m. The location led through a small road

Not only rooms were nice and clean but also all hallways, bars and lobby. Gardeners were taking care of grass and trees every morning and everything looked nice. We also appreciate very good meals and wine

Location: Sun Village, perfect for a couple, we were away from the noise of the hotel. However, you won't find any bar or food here, you have to go to the hotel for it

The hotel was good, the room was nice, had everything we needed (safe, hair dryer, nice view), food was very good, drinks - not so much, for all inclusive beer was ok, wine felt watered down and all the soft drinks felt like they were made of syrup

Perfect personell, very nice food and the hotel environment. Need to mention also the animators crew, superb care all the time. Malia is a lovely city, and during the night you have all the entertainemnt you can imagine.

The sevice and the rooms in the hotel were excellent!It's not fancy hotel and there is no enteratiement for kids but this the the staff is friendly and the beach is great

Fantastic experience at High Beach Resort ! We stayed for 1 week (7-14th of August) and it was amazing ! Nice staff and really good food. They have the best beach and everyone is super helpful

A big shoutout to the receptionist Anna that was very patient with us and gave us the best Suite for our late check-out request ! If you need something or you have any doubt she is going to help you :) I would highly recommend the resort and I would love to come again next year ;)

The hotel also features a gym with several treadmills and, to my suprise, an olympic bar with 120 kg worth of wheights, not much hotels have that! The Hotel has a spa and we had very good massage

Lovely place with a really friendly owner, George, who is very welcoming and has a great sense of humour. Very good for families, as it's not a rowdy place, and the staff all speak very good English

Had a very good experience here. Very nice bar where you can enjoy a drink, nice pool and close to the strip without being a nuisance. Actually everything you need on vacation.

My daughter and her friend stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. The location is excellent, close to everything: the sea, restaurants, and cafes. The room was lovely and clean, and the pool was just what we needed

I must also commend the reception staff for their excellent and friendly service. And when the girls had an emergency, they went above and beyond to help in the best way possible until the problem was resolved

Fantastic pool area with very friendly staff and good food. Direct access to the beach from pool area as well. Breakfast was not of similar quality though. Also, the hotel coffee was undrinkable

Watch out for two great guys who work there, Armando who does the sun loungers and Tonin one of the waiters really nice guy both have work here for a good few years now always lovely to see them

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire

Very nice hotel with feiendly stuff, great beach and always fresh food. Perfect for older people. Calm place.

Just got a couple of negative points: - No music at the bar pool - not expensive but you have to pay the sunbed - we had booked a superior double room, On arrival we were shown the room we had booked (twin bed simple room)

We were told for an extra € 14 a day we could up grade (to the room we booked) pity. We did pay the extra - everything is extra, remote for TV, key for the safe Ask me if I would stay again

The hotel is very nice and recommendable, not too big and a well-kept complex. The service is great, Maria Brazil and her colleagues are very friendly. A few minutes walk to the beach and the pool is fantastic too

A lovely family run hotel, Mikey, Panos, Peter and Joseph did their best to make sure our holiday was good. They have just fitted new mattresses and had a wonderful sleep! The rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day.

Fantastic place probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff really make you feel at home, Panos and Cosats, the owner and manager, go out of their way to greet everyone of their guests

Also in a really good location, 5 minutes from the strip, close enough to stagger home from, but far enough away not to hear the music all night, and about 15 minutes walk from the beach

We are not stooping at this hotel but we did go to the Greece bbq fantastic night The food was so good .The owners and staff are so nice .We will be stopping in this hotel next year

This is the best hotel I have stayed in in Europe. The staff are the nicest, friendliest people in the world and they do everything they can to make you feel at home

Nothing is too much for them to assist with. Every Saturday night they host their Greek family BBQ, all you can eat traditional Greek food, music, traditional Greek dancing, it's a must for anyone staying at Aegean Sky

Not too far from the main lively strip with lots of bars and restaurants, very close to the old town and bus station. A good size pool is available at the hotel including a strong wifi and a cute bar

Has a nice restaurant near it with really good food and acceptable prices. There are like 10 parking spots near the building and a medium size pool

U dont need to go to one hotel 4 stars or 5, on this place u feel like u are in home, the treatment here is the best, they are like a family I totally recommend this place, they deserve 50 stars not 5. The best holiday

Lovely boutique hotel owned by a Greek family. Excellent size renovated rooms, very welcoming, Great breakfast prepared by the owner’s wife Katerina. We stayed in July and my kids enjoyed it

We ate breakfast at the hotel and the dinner at the restaurant next door, Sopato, and the food was tasty and the meals were consistent. If we ever visite Malia again, we will make sure to come back to this lovely place
