Cosy hotel in the village of Malia, a short walk from the sea. Good location, friendly staff.

Location: on the island of Crete in the village of Malia, 1 km from the centre of the village, 32 km from Heraklion international airport..
Consists of two 2-storey buildings. The hotel does not have elevators.
The hotel has 25 rooms.
Beach: public sandy beach in 200 m through road from hotel, third coastline. Umbrellas and deck chairs – extra charge, beach towels are not provided.
Attention! The hotel requires a Deposit at check – in- passport.

Also, about the room, I booked a very nice studio front of the gardens of lemons. It was very comfort, cute and very clean.
The pool was perfect and clean.
Also, the Staff was very friendly and helpful from the first min. They do everything for you when you ask for your problems.

Firstly on arrival the lady was very rude and unwelcoming.
The rooms are nothing like they advertise , they smell of mould and are so basic .
My mums room had a camping hot ring but no pots or pans we had a toastie machine and kettle.
You need to pay for air con in rooms this is over 100 euros for both rooms - not advertised until you get there .
I had to ask for out balcony to be mopped after 4 days of no house cleaning to be told I can mop it myself!
Had to collect toilet roll and a iron from reception
No clean towels or bed linen were added all week and the lady who owns it made us feel so uncomfortable.
We used Ammos boutique hotel down the road all week who were lovely just they had no rooms available or we would of moved .
We spent as little as possible time there and to top it off on my last full as I was leaving at 10 am they sprayed the stairs with water didn't put up a sign or notify us and I fell down the stairs causing damage to my back , again none of the staff even came too see or ask if I was OK.
Very rude and uncomfortable stay

Not only traditional Crete dishes but an international menu from Pasta to Schnitzel are freshly prepared by the two charming cooks throughout the day. The Hotel Bar also serves a fabulous plethora of drinks and Cocktails, including freshly brewed Coffee from a large Italian Espresso machine.
