Hotel Brascos

Smells unpleasant directly on the way in the room when you open the door. Towels had aome stains not washed properly and their smell...fresh is something else....Not the best....

This hotel looks good from outside,but inside not so good. Rooms are clean, but old ,you feel like you are in the '80s. In my room the AC was loosing water, the bathroom was always flooded when we shower.
There is a pool, but nobody used it ,is small and not so good looking.
Breakfast ok, same every day, very bad coffee

We're a couple and we stayed there 2 weeks ago.
Although the stuff tried to be polite, there were many downsides to our staying.
First of all roof Cafe-bar was closed to renovation (during hot season?! And no one told us beforehand) and that led to three problems, one was that the room TV wasn't getting any signal cause of the antenna misplacement from the renovation, secondly the pool was under that construction site, so the water was full of garbage and dirt and thirdly we woke up the next morning due to the construction work right outside of our window.
Other than that, the hotel is really old and the windows had no noise reduction to the outside main street (with traffic during the day).
There is no air-condition but instead it offers a ventilation which was very noisy and the control was on the wall near the entrance door, so you'd have to get up to go turn it on/off.
Also there were some broken tiles in the bathroom and the fridge was so old that it never managed to make our water bottles cold. The mattress was so worn out that we could feel the springs popping when we were moving...
Only advantage was the location...
Never to visit it again!

Hotel is very old and do not deserve 3*, it is 1* Hotel. We were there in July 2021 and in the season peak, they were in middle of renovation! Only selling point, roof bar, was for sure closed. It is terably noisy and you literally cannot sleep with window opened. Stairs are ver dangerous, I slipped twice during 1 day and almost seriously hurt myself. Room is terrible and maybe deserves 1*, maybe. I am now (23.7.21) editing my review after reply from director. Frist of all, you are liar, renovation is not done by the 30.06 and I will attach picture and video, if possible by google review, to prove that. Second lie is running. First of all we were not runing for the bus, as accident happen 20 minutes before bus arrived. Also, your ice and water are not needed by anyone. What you need is that someone send inspection to the hotel and tech you how to do business. Renovation is not done during season peak, that is obvios to anyone except you. Soon you will receve a lot of claims since there is 0 (zero) satisfied customers thst visited in July 2021. I learned a lot from this, hope you will too.

Good location, polite staff working in the restaurant.
Rooms are very dated and in a quite a bad shape, bathrooms and finishings damaged.
Hotel under renovation, scaffolding around the balconies, construction and drilling noises disturbing our stay.
Extremely slippery marble staircase, no safety precautions on the steps to prevent falling; I had a terrible fall on the last day of our stay, due to wet steps.
Rooftop bar, which was the selling point of the hotel, is closed for renovations until further notice.
Breakfast and dinner served to the table (no buffet), allowing for little choice. No way to know in advance what will be offered for dinner - some board with information like this would have been great.
With all of the above, would not recommend at all.
