Loved our multi-level 800 sq feet on the lower level of the city. Very clean with daily cleaning. The bougainvillea were in bloom in our garden space where we enjoyed afternoon wine every day. Prepare to walk many steps to breakfast or dinner.

There were hot water only for a short person for a short shower, and then you have to wait for half an hour.
The mattress was extremely soft and unpleasant, and going to the bathroom at night, you have a few steps going up and down.
The main room is below street level and very dark.
The furniture felt like old cast-offs.
It definitely doesn't feel like a four star hotel.
We will not be back.

Extraordinary hotel in the new city of Monemvasia, which, of course, means it was built 800 years ago. We stayed in a beautiful duplex with a private terrace looking over the Aegean Sea. As it was New Year's, the host Despina gave us the traditional Greek cake, as well as a bottle of Ardamis red wine. Pure magic!

Very beautiful, spacious accommodations. The space I stayed in had multiple levels which is important to know if you have certain disabilities or suffer from dizziness because the steps leading up to the bedroom are steep.
Our room had a lovely view with balcony, desk, sizable TV, and very comfortable bed. The small living room was outfitted with a sofa and TV. There was a little kitchenette that had a small refrigerator stocked with a few beverages (nice touch), filter coffee device, electric kettle,some complementary coffee, and utensils/dishes. The bathroom was lovely and big. The shower was amazing with excellent water pressure.
Breakfast is available for purchase and there are several packages to choose from including a vegan option. I ordered the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it very much while sitting on our balcony admiring the view.

This must be one of the most authentic suites that I have ever seen.
Roomy, authenthic and comfortable. Not cheap but a lot of value for your money.
Close to the sea and in the middle of Low town.

Very clean and spacious room, renovated but having kept the traditional Monemvasia architecture. Our room even had an 800 year old cistern! Perfect location in the centre of the castle of Monemvasia. The owner was very polite and welcoming. Because of c19 rules the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you can either order in your room or have good breakfast/brunch in one of the cafeterias in the castle.
