Alta Mare By Andronis in Oia

Gorgeous location, helpful staff. The views are breathtaking and the team worked hard to ensure our stay was great. We wished we could have stayed longer. I would have rated the room 5 stars except for an issue with a noisy pool pump outside our room.

Fantastic hotel that is adults-only. Infinity pool with a bunch of lounge chairs. Full bar and food service. The breakfast is amazing. I feel like we ordered too much and, in some way, punishing the chefs. Staff is extremely attentive and would communicate with us through Whatsapp (which was super convenient). They also set-up our boating expedition, reserved restaurant reservations, and rented a car for us to explore the other side of Santorini. Rooms were clean; a/c was strong and controllable. One minor annoyance was the limited ventilation towards the back of our room, where the bathroom and shower were located. However, this was to be expected as our room was one the largest and didn't have another a/c unit in the back. Ample room for suitcases and clothes. The kitchen was nice and had a full size fridge. Location wise, you're right off the main road of Oia.. so you can't really complain. You won't be able to see the sunset from the hotel, but you have killer views of the caldera and the aegean sea steps from your hotel room... So just watch the sunset from your hot tub. 🤙

We just returned from our stay at Alta Mare. This is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were treated like kings and queens. The hotel staff met us at the main road and carried our bags to our room. We stayed in a Romance Suite, which had a private hot tub on our balcony. This hotel is located in the perfect location! Our room over looked the caldera and all of the white buildings. The breakfast that was served on our balcony was amazing. There were so many food options to choose from. Tafil, the gentleman who works in the lobby was so incredible. He always greeted us with a smile and asked us about our day. That man deserves a promotion because he made our experience unforgettable.

Everything is amazing! Staff, location, service, food, views, EVERYTHING! Cannot say enough good things about this location. We stayed at 4 hotels on our two week journey and by far this was the best stay. No competition. One I will remember for life

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2023.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hotel manager and his colleague. They carried our luggage and walked us up to the hotel from our taxi drop off point. When we got there, another member of staff gave us a glass of wine and tour of our room. We were so blown away by the view from our balcony! He also showed us a map of Oia and made some recommendations of what to do during our stay. Once we got settled, his colleague came in with a chilled bottle of white wine and snack. It was a lovely welcome.
The full breakfast was also incredible. There was so much choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters. We were able to choose a time too and this was delivered to our room each day.

The room itself (romance suite) was huge. The outdoor area was great too-including the jacuzzi. They turned the temperature off for us too on our request as it meant we could cool down!

The staff also fixed the handle on my suitcase broke for me before we checked out!

The whole stay was just so relaxing and comfortable due to the staff.

Oia is also gorgeous. We had such a great time and if we return, we will definitely stay here again!

WOW....like WOW...We stayed here from 10/25 through 10/30. From the moment we arrived, we felt like family visiting for the week. The staff here took extremely great care for us during our visit.

They helped get our bags to our room all the way from the Bus Stop, granted Oia is a small area to visit, it was no easy feat considering All The Stairs! That was just the beginning, they greeted us with a glass of champagne, in the office and showed us to our amazing room (Caldera View with Infinity Hot Tub #3, highly recommend this room). They also brought us a sweet treat, sangria and a bottle of wine. Talk about a welcoming gesture.

That doesn't really describe this place though. Every day we got to talk to the staff, which at the end of the season, was smaller but the absolute best!! They kept us happy, entertained and intrigued about the things going on with them. They absolutely blew us away with a special treat on our second night, with roses and candles. The breakfasts were amazing and served in our rooms when we were ready. The views were amazing.

We would highly recommend this place. Do yourself a favor, book it, get to know the staff and relax in the glory of the Mediterranean.

This place is amazing.

The staff and service are unbelievable, always friendly and attentive and have a personal touch too.

The room is beautiful, which is over and beyond what you expect (Bluetooth speaker and multiple pillow options).

Views and common area has a heated pool and is beautiful.

The view is stunning also.

The restaurant buffet is extensive and of high quality.

Honestly the this place is as close to perfect as you can want.

Our stay isn't even over and I have to leave a review. Wow at these views! The staff is attentive and have the best reccomendations and will make any reservations you may need. We stayed in the retreat room and the views were magic. They set up our room as I requested to begin our honeymoon.

Be aware the room deck is pretty exposed but I believe any place on the caldera is.

Highly recommend Alta Mare. A very boutique and romantic experience. The staff was incredible and made us feel like family. The rooms are lovely with stunning views of Oia and the caldera. You are in the heart of Oia and can walk everywhere while still feeling secluded and private. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Had the best stay and Best birthday. Right from the start of our holiday we were made to feel like royalty. The staff all looked after us well and nothing was trouble. Would defiantly come back to this hotel again. Hotel very central to everything and superb rooms and facilities. :) Thank you to the whole Andronis Alta Mare team.
