Pearl of Caldera Oia - Boutique Hotel by Pearl Hotel Collection

Very poor hotel compared to other options in the area which are available at lower cost. Although the hotel is new it feels like they have tried to complete as quickly and cheaply as possible. Rooms are finished to a very poor standard and not very functional, two small twin beds joined together rather an actual double bed, rooms are very dark and sound insulation is awful, could clearly hear neighbours conversations. Breakfast was poor, it was cooked by same individual who works on the front desk therefore dont expect much, we ate breakfast outside of hotel. Staff were generally unhelpful and never answer the phone. Only thing that impressed us was the view from the pool area, however every hotel in the area provides an equally impressive view. Heard other guests complaining during their stay that room was not up to standard vs pictures online which I would agree with. Given the hotel has no tripadvisor page its hard to get a real feel prior to booking however much better options available nearby which will provide a more enjoyable & relaxing holiday experience.
