The room that I stayed at was brand new. The amenities met all my needs and the staff was very helpful.

Although 3 star hotel, I rate 4 although rooms not that big. Take a room with harbor view! Excellent location to explore Volos on a short trip. Tip: Plagios restaurant for a very decent meal. Parking: 2 min walk in front at the harbor, not so cheap (about 15 euro per 24 hours) but safe and stressless.

A fine hotel located at an excellent location, at the seaside promenade of Volos. The rooms are relatively small but recently renovated and clean. Very good breakfast. Tends to be busy with groups during the weekends , frequented by business travellers on weekdays.

Five stars if you sleep one night. 1 star if you sleep more. Average 3 stars. The rooms have not been renovated or upgraded since they were build. Great for historians but not for young people.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Nice staff and service. Perfect location close both to the sea and the pedestrian road with nice coffees and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Nice rooms next to the seaside with hospitable owners, always keen to help you. Do NOT miss the homemade breakfast-you will be amazed by the options offered. Volos (the city) is only 10 minutes away by car but you can always enjoy the route on a bike!

This family hotel has the kindest hosts! Great breakfast with lots of choice and all very delicious. We missed the ferry and had to find a hotel very last minute. They welcomed us so kindly, and helped us out with all our questions.

Traditional guest house next to the main square of Portaria with friendly and polite staff. We enjoyed a sweet dessert of the spoon and hot cups of tea in the common living room with fireplace. The breakfast offers handmade delicacies with a variety of pies, jams, etc. The only drawback is the old mattresses.

Location and view. That is all this hotel has to offer. Other than that it's very basic. The rooms are small and basic, the breakfast is basic and the quality seems to be below average. No parking included which means that you'll have to carry your luggage a long way. Considering everything this is not a good value for money either.

Simply outstanding. We stayed in a suite that was fully renovated(we were one of the first to sleep there after the renovation) with modern but also a bit of traditional style. The view of the mountain Pilio and the city as well was great. The breathtaking sunset and the balcony offered us a feeling of freedom. We had a nice room with a large balcony and a great view. Breakfast is great as well, though it was way too much for 2 people. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was with variety of foods and everything was very tasty. The location is very quiet and with panorama view to Volos. The hosts are very hospitable and gave us all their attention despite of our late arrival (after midnight) and despite our short stay (1 night only).

Cozy and clean rooms with a great view to the city of Volos. The little yard we could sit and enjoy our coffee/breakfast was beautiful and filled with flowers, giving a unique but traditional touch to the hotel. The landlady was very kind and helpful. Tasty breakfast. We also had dinner here, food is a little bit more expensive than in other restaurants nearby. The room was small and seems to need renovation, however this didn't worsen our overall experience.

A very nice view of Portaria's main square. Wonderful breakfast (included) and a very good restaurant. The staff are kind and welcoming. We had the family room, which is equipped with toys and book for children (in greek...) and is very spacious and comfortable. Note that this is an old building and its wooden floor is noisy; we could hear when the guests upstairs went to the bathroom at night.

First of all the staff members are very welcoming, friendly and kind. They will absolutely make sure to give you every kind of comfort you want. Breakfast is very very tasty. The rooms aren't like those VERY fancy hotels it's very cozy and nice. The sea is only about a 5 minute walk away and the pool is very refreshing. It can be considered quite cold but it's only until you start swimming and moving...

Very good place where to stop en route between Athens and Thessaloniki. Clean room, very good service, good and complete breakfast, excellent pool and extra points for the private parking. Good restaurants and fair beach in close proximity. All in all very good quality/price ratio. The bathroom probably needs renovation, but the hotel is perfect for a couple of nights.

We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves.
